THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD - PART 244

The fact of the matter is darkness hates light. Why? Because when light appears, the darkness is dispelled. This is a great analogy because the same message can be applied to the Word of God. The Word of God is the true Light of the world.

The darkest hour of the night is one hour before sunrise so when the Word of God is presented, all hell tends to break loose, resisting the glorious light of the Gospel of God, revealed to mankind in the face of JESUS the Christ. Often, isms appear to be the light bringers.

But when the Light (which is brighter than the noon day sun) lightens upon the being of men and women, and boys and girls inwardly, there is a reaction. In a personal context, the real battle of Armageddon (otherwise recognized as the war of the worlds or the war between good and evil and right vs. wrong) results in making meaningful decisions. Decisions that often demand an examination of one's life style.

This might explain why we are inwardly at war - a war that continues day and night - a war prolonged more than Joshua's long day - or the day when the sun stood still in the battle zone for 24 hours. Still, since this Light became our Saviour, a raging battle for our eternal soul exists.

As a consequence, the enemy of our soul has situated the isms with their enticing words to minister to us from their adorned luxurious edifices. These institutional representatives offer individuals the sun, the moon, and even the stars, assuring us safety and a comfortable lifestyle.

Well, the truth is that Jesus did not fall for satan’s cunning and neither should we as believers in Jesus by faith. When satan offered to Jesus the sun, the moon and the stars, Jesus reminded the devil that he couldn't offer what he did not own. At the time, as noted in the scriptures, Jesus -- God Himself manifest in the flesh as one of Adam’s sons did not have an ivory palace or luxury hotel to sleep. Ironically, foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests but the Son of Man had nowhere to lay His head. But I digress.

At the time of the Reformation when the Word of God was translated into the language of the ordinary people, the opposing forces of darkness immediately reacted. The reaction was quick, publishing an alternative rendering of the scriptures, asserting that the reformation rendering was wrong and that they were right. Until that moment in time, the religious authorities of the era had treated ordinary people as if they were unlearned and similarly incapable of learning.

Still, JESUS is a Priest forever after the Order of Melchisedec, who had neither father nor mother, beginning of days nor end of life. Indeed, JESUS is a priest forever. This is the same JESUS, who being the only begotten, came forth from the bosom (innermost being) of the Holy Spirit, who by Himself Fathered all things, seen and unseen.

In fact, JESUS is the beginning of the revelation of God Himself in created form. He is not another God. Rather, JESUS is God -- all in all. This is why we read in the scriptures that all the fullness of the Godhead was in the Son of God. All the fullness of God was bearing Adam’s earthly image (yet without sin) in the man Jesus, who is the fetus child of the Holy Ghost.

JESUS said in the scriptures, "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father."

JESUS, who is the beginning of the spiritual visible creation of God, manifested Himself in the flesh to save a people who were created in Adam's form. Adam was an earthly, visible creation of the Lord JESUS. The dilemma was that this earthly visible creation now required redemption and salvation. If Adam and Eve had not sinned in the garden, then redemption and salvation should not have been required.

But JESUS loved the people, His Church -- the body of Christ. His earthly image. As a consequence, He willingly offered up His earthly body. In so doing, He united through His plan of redemption and salvation, an opportunity whereby we could be introduced to the same Him in whose image we were created!

This is why JESUS is first and foremost the King of kings and the believers - as the body of Christ or the church the Queen. It is also why the scriptures state that we shall be like JESUS the second Adam.

But don't believe me. Study the scriptures for yourself and let the same God who created you -- He who knew no sin -- that willingly clothed Himself in a sin-prone flesh reveal Himself to you too.

Doubting Thomas called Jesus, "My Lord and my God!"

Indeed, the one and only! Let him who has ears to hear, hear. Stand in the offering plate.
