Jesus Paid the Price in Full - PART 217

ONE LORD - ONE FAITH - ONE BAPTISM

In Acts chapter two, we read that 3000 believing persons were added into the redeemed body (temple) of Jesus the Christ. This point is important because the reference recognizes that JESUS is the second Adam being the Lord Himself. The beginning of God in visible form. Let all the angels of God worship Him.

Further, this body (temple) consists not of stones, brick and mortar which would have been the mindset of the first earthy Adam, being capable only of thinking earthly thoughts. (Inasmuch as we are the offspring of the first Adam who since his expulsion from the Garden of Eden can only think materially)
Rather, this is a new spiritual temple built upon the spiritual teachings of the Lord Jesus, who is the Seed of the Holy Spirit. And being the Holy Spirit seed Jesus came forth on earth as the only begotten Son of God.
JESUS, the Christ, or Messiah encased (or manifest in the flesh) in a dead soul, prone to sin body and yet within that body did flow the life giving blood of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God is a quickening Spirit. The Spirit of God came forth out of Heaven to set Adam's fallen race free. To indeed free men and women from the chains of sin that fetters us.

On the opposing side, Satan, the negative oppressive spirit forces us through lying, enticing words and false promises to bury our heads in the sand, leading us daily toward a lost eternity.

But JESUS, whilst physically on earth taught Heaven's principles to His apostles delivering to them spiritual bread, not bread that perishes but rather bread that endures throughout eternity. JESUS, being the very Word of God appearing in fashion as a man, delivered the Word of God. JESUS being the corner stone of this new spiritual creation, formed a spiritual temple to become the redeemed and justified resurrected body of believers in Christ -- now to be a habitation of God Spirit.

In order to deliver the gospel message, God sacrificed His own prone to sin flesh body, which never did sin. God, in so doing redeemed to Himself a pure holy undefiled body. For God had taken upon Himself all of men's wages of sin, which is death.

Up until this point, we had been weighed in God’s balance and yet we were still found wanting. That is until God put Himself in our place redeeming us from sin with the shedding of His own Holy Spirit Blood. As a result, we are a new creation and from henceforth those believers are free from all sin.

Yes, Christ died - the just dying for the unjust - which means there is now no condemnation to those who believe in the redemptive work of salvation. God offered up Himself, and He did so once and for all.

This is the everlasting covenant. God the eternal Spirit has covenanted with Himself as a Son. We believers have become the recipients of all the promises of God which were in the man JESUS, who is the ark of the covenant of God. Indeed, believers are the redeemed living stones in the temple of God, which is the body of Christ. It is this body that died for us and has brought forth multitudes of offspring.

For He is the Father of all living, and in Jesus' body all the fullness of God is pleased to dwell. The Spirit of God was in the man Jesus. Now it is His spirit that we receive and then endeavour to walk even as He walked. Yes, it is in Jesus that we are a new creation born of God!
