Jesus is the Chief Cornerstone - PART 192

Unto the Son was said, "Thy throne, Oh God is forever and ever, a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of your kingdom." Why is this so important? Because there is no other foundation that man can lay, other than that which is laid which is Jesus the Christ. The Church of God was (and continues to be) built upon the apostles and prophets with Jesus the Christ being the Chief corner stone.

Think of the example of the White House, whereby it is said that the White House corner stone is either lost or has been removed and that likewise the corner stone of the capital building built on a hill experienced the same mystery. Some have searched and excavated the ground endeavouring to resolve the mystery, without resolving the actual whereabouts of the corner stone.

The capping stone on the great pyramid offers yet another mystery. There is no capping stone (the stone which the builders rejected has become the Head of the corner). The Jewish rejection of Jesus is another great mystery. But if we consider these mysteries in context, then we must ask ourselves, "What is man that God is so mindful of him or the sons of men that God Himself as a Son has visited him?"

As we begin to respond to these questions, we gain insights into why the world that exists today came to this point. For example, why are all planets barren and uninhabitable? The answer is simple. According to the scriptures, there was a war in Heaven. Satan and his demonic followers were cast out of Heaven and landed on this beautiful planet earth. God had set man over the works of His own hands. Satan came along with his hordes of terrorists knowing that God loved man, and therefore God would not exact His wrath upon earth.

But right from the moment that satan arrived on this earth satan has been intent in continuing his terrorist campaign, starting with opposition to the Word of God. It is at this point that we go on the roller coaster ride.

God Himself turned up in form as a Son of man. This means that on the outside, God was clothed in flesh -- Arising like a morning star, the dawning of a new day, and ushering in hope. The watching shepherds along with the wise men followed that star, and that star led them to where the young child was. The scriptures note that they worshipped Him. However, satan had gotten into King Herod’s heart. He went on a slaughter terrorist crusade killing all male children 2 years and under.

That makes one shudder. Still, if one thinks this to be horrendous, stop and think of how society today has adopted the same satanic heart as King Herod with the issue of abortions on demand. Reportedly one abortionist aborted 72,000 lives. In the minds of many, this is terrorism -- a war against the defenceless.

Still, Jesus exposed sand his demonic followers, flushing them out from their hideaways. What a hideaway they had for they had entered into man finding themselves a well camouflaged secure throne, wherein satan could control and direct the course of man.

satan, and his religious converted followers, who were now satanic followers, sought to kill Jesus. Little did they know that upon accomplishing their murderous act they would hasten and secure their journey to Hell. From this point in time, men have been given two options. Indeed, two choices. The first is a satanic inspired religion that totally rejects the counsel of God, termed the Anti-Christ where opposing the written Word is manifest in a form of worship.

The second option is to love God with all your heart, your soul, your mind and your strength! Why? BECAUSE THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED HAS BECOME THE HEAD CORNER STONE! Yes, Jesus is the chief corner stone!
