The Lord Himself is the ark of safety. The Lord has said, "Look to me all you people of the earth and be saved for beside me there is no saviour." The scriptures state that the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night. The scriptures also state, "For surely if we had known the opening time of the day of the Lord, then we would have watched so that [particular] day should not have come upon us unawares." It is important to note that when John was in Spirit on the Lord‘s day he saw the Lord’s day to be a period of time. The emphasis was never intended to be placed on the day of the Lord, where events transpire before our eyes, and indeed, even as we speak.
Still, today is the DAY of SALVATION. The harvest truly is plenteous. Unfortunately, the labourers are few. Pray you therefore to the Lord of the Harvest that He would send forth labourers into His harvest
The grace of God has appeared to all men. Jesus is the Grace of God, veiled in flesh. Without Jesus, there is no salvation to be found in any other. But we as believers should be burdened to know that as of yet there are many who have not so much as heard whether there be a Holy Spirit. Woe to us if we do not preach this gospel of the grace of God. Why? Because the night comes when no one will be allowed to preach this glorious gospel. Today if one hears His voice, he or she ought not to harden their hearts. For how shall anyone escape the wrath of God if they willingly neglect God’s gift of eternal life?
The ark of God then has, at this moment, the door of salvation held wide open. Believers need to remember God's open door and thus be about their Father's business -- seeking out wandering spirits with the good news that they do not have to be lost. In spite of all the legions of unbelieving spirits saying otherwise, one can be saved by God’s Grace.
This is because the Word of God veiled in flesh appeared in earthly fashion as a man named Jesus. This same Jesus who is the Seed of the Holy Spirit, manifested in the flesh. The Word of God is the seed of God. When one receives God’s Word into their heart, their heart becomes the fertile ground into which the Word of God desires to be rooted. When the seed of the Word of God found in Jesus is received, then a transformation takes place. The unbelieving stony heart of worldly wisdom is expelled. Why? Because it is impossible for a seed to grow where unbelief abounds.
Indeed, when the good seed of the Word of God arrives and unbelief is repelled, then the Word of God which indwelt Jesus takes root and blossoms, causing one to become a new redeemed creation of God. Seeded with the seed of the Holy Spirit whose Word abode in Jesus. Jesus, the man who willingly died at Calvary. The seed of the Word of God did not die. God seeded the man Jesus with His Word. Jesus seeded Adam’s fallen race with God’s Word! Now we believers seed others with the same word of life spoken by Jesus.
This is the purpose set out to Christians who have found peace with God. It also offers a rationale as to why waiting for the day of the Lord to come before one wishes to be saved may in reality mean that they have left the once obtainable salvation until too late! The scriptures are clear. NOW is the accepted time. NOW is the day of salvation.
