Thou Art My People, And They Shall Say, Thou Art My God! - Part 2303

"If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (II Chronicles 7:14)

And when the Lord our God heals the land, there is truth, and mercy throughout the land, and the knowledge of God in every heart. Indeed, there is an abundance of provision, and the people wholly satisfied. Moreover, our doings will be framed unto our God and as the scripture saith, we will know the Lord who saved us from everlasting condemnation. And we shall forever walk in the liberty wherewith is Christ, worshiping the Lord of hosts in all things with heart praises and song. As well, we will remember our Maker in all things, rejoicing always that the dayspring from on high willingly visited His people.

It is herein that the Lord of hosts invites us to enter into His resting place, saying, "Turn ye to Me with all your heart and with fasting and with weeping and with mourning and rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord our God -- for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger; and of great kindness, and repents Him of the evil." (Joel 2:12-13)

Taste and see that the Lord is good! Seek the Lord and ye shall live. Seek Him that turns the shadow of death into the morning and makes the day dark with night; that calls for the waters of the sea, and pours the out upon the face of the earth. (Amos 5:8)

The Lord Jesus is His Name -- the Way, the Truth, and the Life. (John 14:6-12)

His Name JESUS for He shall save His people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21-23)

Seek His goodness and mercy and not evil, that ye may live, and so the Lord -- the God of hosts shall be with you ... hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate." (Amos 5:14-15)

At the same time, remember the "multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision; for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision." Thus, the time has come for those who believe in the Lord Jesus by faith to lean on Him in all things and elevate Him as the hope of His people and our strength once again. In order for this to happen, it's time for believers to move beyond seeking the things of this world, knowing that the Lord's purpose is the ultimate objective in everything we do, and He blesses the  hands of those who put their hand to the plow for His purposes.

"Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? Prudent, and he shall know them? For the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them ..." (Hosea 14:9)

Cast forth your sickle for the Lord this day, for the harvest is ripe.

Stand in the offering plate.
