But The Path Of The Just Is Like A Shining Light That Shines More And More Unto A Perfect Day - Part 2311

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all [men], especially unto them who are of the household of faith." (Galatians 6:9-10)

Throughout the scriptures, we are instructed to bear one another's burdens, for when we do, we fulfill the law of Christ. Moreover, every one is to prove his/her own work, and every man to bear his own burden -- considering thyself in the things that we do. (Galatians 6:1-2) As apostle Paul states, "Let him that is taught in the Word communicate unto him that teaches in all good things." (Galatians 5:7)

Both collectively and singularly, these are critical understandings for our faith to grow. Indeed, there is never a time when we are to remain stagnant in our life journey. Rather, we are to receive the Lord's sayings so that we can know who has taught us in the way of wisdom. And that we would know when the Lord leads us in right paths, and establishes our steps, we shall not stumble. (Proverbs 4:10-12)

Further, when we incline our hearts and ears to the Lord, we understand that we are now therefore no more strangers and foreigners, "but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone; in whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto an holy temple in the Lord: in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit." (Ephesians 2:19-22)

It is in this context that we are to help one another so that we can all press into the mark which is Christ Jesus. The first 3,000 souls saved on the day of Pentecost serves as an insightful starting point for learning how to support one another and sharing the burdens of those less fortunate. And in so doing, remember not to become weary in well-doing, for in due season, as the Lord hath stated, we shall reap.

Why? Because the Lord Jesus is so very faithful to those who love Him and adore Him with their very essence. He is our all in all, and yet was willing to become a sacrifice on an old rugged cross -- so that we who have fallen short of the glory of God could have abundant everlasting life in Him. It is for this reason that we know in whom we serve.

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." (I Corinthians 15:58)
