Speak Thou The Things Which Become Sound Doctrine; The Kindness And Love Of God Our Saviour Toward Man Appeared - Part 1991

"In Him dwelt ALL the fullness of the Godhead bodily." (Colossians 2:9)

God gave all of Himself, all of His identity and power, His throne, and even His Name to the Word made flesh. To wit, God was in Christ Jesus reconciling the world unto Himself. (II Corinthians 5:17) Not one third of God, which the religious culture teaches, but all of God was in Christ Jesus redeeming the world unto Himself. His precious holy blood that was shed on the cross so that we might be saved from damnation. He Himself beaten beyond recognition, and a crown of thorns placed on His head so that we might have life more abundantly in Him.

"Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood." (Acts 20:28)

"He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own and His own received Him not." (John 1:10-11)

As you can see, God has no other identity in this current dispensation of grace except in JESUS. The Scriptures make it clear -- there is no other name given under heaven whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) For He paid the ultimate price, and all He asks is that we humbly approach the throne of grace, repenting of our sins, turning our hearts entirely to Him, and being water baptized in His precious Name -- the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:36-47; John 1:18, Hebrews 1:2-3, Colossians 1:15-20, Acts 4:10-12; Philippians 2:9; Acts 10:44-48; Romans 6:3-4; I Peter 3:21)

Why is this important? For He is our all in all, and when we respond to Jesus as both Lord and Christ in our hearts, He will freely give us the Holy Ghost -- His Spirit dwelling within for one and all to behold. To Him should be all our glory and honour and praise! For to Him gave all the prophets witness that through HIS NAME , whosoever believes in Him shall receive remission of sins.

That is His promise to us who believe in God our Saviour. This is why we rejoice and leap for joy because we know that our reward is great in heaven, because of the ultimate sacrifice that was made when the Greatest Shepherd ever laid down His precious humanity for the sheep. And that same God our Saviour is returning to gather His bride unto Himself.
And to him that overcomes, "will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in His throne." (Revelation 3:21)

Because, as Jesus said, "All things that the Father hath are Mine: therefore said I, that He shall take of Mine, and shall shew it unto you." (John 16:15)

"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus; who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." (Philippians 2:5-8)

"He shall be for a sanctuary ..." (Isaiah 8:14-15)

And now, as we know the end is night, we become more determined to look "for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee." (Titus 2:13-15)
