"To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." (Jude 1:25)
For Thine is the Kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever, amen! Why is this so? Because He "hath in due times manifested His Word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour ... grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour." (Titus 1:3-4)
The mystery that was held from the very beginning, in the bosom of the Father is that the Lord Himself would come forth as a mighty man -- to bring to his fallen man His free gift of salvation. (Isaiah 42:13) "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6)
One God! (Genesis 1:1-2; Ephesians 4:5-6) And as the first commandment states, "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God [is] One Lord: and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might." (Deuteronomy 6:4-5)
This very same commandment confirmed by Jesus, when He told the scribe the greatest commandment of all was -- "The first of all the commandments [is], "Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is One Lord: and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment." And the second [is] like, [namely] this, "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." There is none other commandment greater than these." (Mark 12:29-31)
For those who have been led astray by the modern day religious culture who teaches that God is a third this and one third that, or is a triad, or a trinity, or that God is tri-une, it is time to come to the faith that the Lord God Himself has given to us. That is: "And without controversy great is the mystery of Godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." (I Timothy 3:16)
His Name in this dispensation of grace is JESUS, for He shall save His people from their sins ... "Emmanuel, being interpreted, God with us." (Matthew 1:21-23)
"And for this cause He is the mediator of the New Testament, that by means of death for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, that they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise, it is of no strength at all while the testator lives. Whereupon, neither the first testament was dedicated without blood." (Hebrews 9:15-18)
"Christ as a son over His own house, whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end, "Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith), "Today, if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts ..." (Hebrews 3:6-11)
