Jesus Said, "If Ye Abide In Me, And My Words Abide In You, Ye Shall Ask What Ye Will And It Shall Be Done Unto You - Part 1756

"To wit, that GOD WAS IN CHRIST, RECONCILING THE WORLD UNTO HIMSELF, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the Word of reconciliation." (II Corinthians 5:19)

Jesus cried when He said, "... he that believes on Me, believes not on Me, but on Him that sent Me. And he THAT SEES ME SEES HIM THAT SENT ME. I AM COME A LIGHT INTO THE WORLD, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVES ON "ME" SHOULD NOT ABIDE IN DARKNESS. And if any man hear MY words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world; he that rejects Me, and receives not My words, hath one that judges him; the Word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of Myself, but the Father which sent Me, He gave Me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that His commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever, I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto Me, so I speak." (John 12:44-50)

Why is this so? Because He was in the world and the world was made by Him but the world knew Him not. He came unto His own and His own received Him not. (John 1:10-11; I Timothy 3:16; Titus 3:4-7; II John 1:9) The mystery that was held from the foundation of the world was being revealed for one and all to behold. That is, the same God who created all things in the beginning, had become our Saviour.

Like most mysteries, the unfolding of the story -- the revelation -- comes toward the end. This is why the prophets so looked forward to the promise -- the Christ which was to come -- when the dayspring on high would visit His people. The Lord Himself coming forth as a mighty man. (Isaiah 42:13; Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:21-23; Luke 1:35)

"But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared ..." (Titus 3:4-7)

"Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; in hope of eternal life, which God that cannot lie, promised before the world began: but hath in due times manifested His Word through preaching, which is committed unto me -- according to the commandment of God our Saviour." (Titus 1:1-3)

The doctrine of Christ -- lo, behold, the volume of the book is written of Me! (Hebrews 6:1-2; II John 1:9) Repeatedly, Jesus said, "I am the bread of life." (John 6:35-51) "For the bread of God is He which comes down from heaven and gives life unto the world." (John 6:33)

The first man Adam was earthly, the second the Lord from heaven.

Therefore, for those who believe on Jesus by faith, and been water baptized in His precious holy Name (as the first 3,000 souls were on the day of Pentecost), we can with solid assurance look for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. (Titus 2:13-14)

Be blessed that He has both chosen and ordained you. Stand in the offering plate.
