For God Who Commanded The Light To Shine Out Of Darkness Has Shined In Our Hearts - Part 1752

"And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the Light thereof." (Revelation 21:22-23)

One temple. One throne of grace. One God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in you all -- who was manifest in the flesh so that we might have salvation in Him. (I Timothy 3:16) Our Lord God and Saviour JESUS who is both Lord and Christ. (Acts 2:36-38; Ephesians 4:5-6) Indeed, toward us He did appear as our Saviour so that we could walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour. (Ephesians 5:1-2)

This is why we now look for that blessed hope, and "the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." (Titus 2:13-14)

"For the grace of God that brings salvation hath appeared to all men." (Titus 2:11)

This is also the reason we adorn "the doctrine of God our Saviour " in all things. (Titus 2:11; II John 1:9) This is why we speak continually of how much God truly loves us -- to have willingly become our Saviour. This explains why (as believers in Jesus by faith) we are so thankful and greatly rejoice that the trial of our faith, being much more precious than gold which perishes might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ, whom we love, believing in Him for His mercy and grace and kindness.

And similarly, because we know from whence our salvation has come -- " ... after the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration; and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; that being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life." (Titus 3:4-7)

Throughout the scriptures, we are continually told to "Hear ye Him!" (Matthew 17:5; Isaiah 42:1) And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is my beloved Son: hear Him." (Luke 9:35) And a voice from heaven said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!" (Matthew 3:17) And there came a voice from heaven, saying, "Thou art My beloved Son; in whom I am well pleased." (Mark 1:11)

When Jesus was baptized, and the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, "Thou art My beloved Son; in Thee I am well pleased." the voice was for John the baptist/baptizer's sake, which we see specifically in John 1:33, when John bare record that he knew Him [Jesus] not, but He that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, "Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, the SAME is HE WHICH BAPTIZES WITH THE HOLY GHOST." (John 1:29-36)

"And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God" according to the Word John had heard from Him that initially sent him to baptize with water. But the next day, what did John proclaim? Looking upon Jesus, John boldly proclaimed, "Behold, the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29; Revelation 5:6-14; I Peter 2:24)

Jesus being FULL of the Holy Ghost -- because in Him, as the scripture declares did the fullness of the Godhead dwell bodily. (Luke 4:1; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16) This day, as Jesus said, is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. (Luke 4: 17-21)

The same scripture from Isaiah wherein the voice of the Lord asks, "Whom shall I send?" before answering, "Send Me." (Isaiah 6:8; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31-35; John 1:10-11; 45; Revelation 12:5; Isaiah 9:6; Isaiah 8:8-10; Titus 2:13; Ephesians 2:14; Isaiah 11:1-4; Isaiah 40:5, 10, 13-18, 25; Isaiah 42:1-8; 13; Isaiah 43:10-25; Isaiah 44:5-8; Revelation 1:8, 11)

"I am the Lord and there is none else; there is no God beside Me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known Me." (Isaiah 45:5)

Thus, in so believing that Jesus is the true Light which lights every man that comes into the world, and recognizing that "He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not" we have not followed cunningly devised fables and religious traditions of men when we make known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Like the apostles -- "the eye witnesses of His Majesty, putting you always in remembrance of the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" we understand that "He received from God the Father honour and glory when there came such a voice to Him from the excellent glory; "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." (II Peter 1:11-17)

"And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with Him in the holy mount. We also have a more sure word of prophecy, where unto do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts, knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation [origin], for the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man; but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." (II Peter 1:18-21)

And again, "for we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake, for God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." (II Corinthians 4:5-6)

When Jesus charged His disciples that they should NOT make HIM known, it was so the prophecy spoken earlier by Esaias [Isaiah] the prophet might be fulfilled -- "Behold, My servant whom I have chosen; My beloved, in whom My soul is well pleased [delights]: I will put My Spirit upon Him and He shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not strive, nor cry [out]; neither shall any man hear His voice in the streets. A bruised reed shall He not break, and smoking flax shall He not quench, till He send forth judgment unto victory. And in HIS NAME shall the Gentiles trust." (Matthew 12:16-21; Matthew 8:4; Matthew 9:30; Matthew 17:5-9; Isaiah 42:1-4; Isaiah 49:3)

When Jesus said to Peter, James, and John on the mountain, "Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead" it was so that we would seek after Him who loved us enough to become our Saviour.

Sadly, the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, "lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ -- who is the image of God -- should shine unto them." (II Corinthians 4:4)
But don't be led astray from the truth of the good news gospel of Jesus Christ by the triad/triune, god in three person claimers of this day for these still worship an unknown god. These have no understanding of the Godhead according to I Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6.

But you can know who God is. In fact, ask the Lord God Almighty to reveal Himself to you through His Word. Jesus said to those disciples whom He had chosen, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men."  Jesus also said to them (and us by extension), "This is the work of God -- that ye believe ON HIM WHOM HE HATH SENT." (John 6:29)

Why? "For the bread of God is He which comes down from heaven and gives life unto the world." (John 6:33) And who is the bread of life?

Jesus said, "I am the bread of life; he that comes to Me shall never hunger and he that believes on Me shall never thirst ... I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world!" (John 6:32-51)

The "living water" wherein you can taste and see that our Lord is good, and wherein, ye will never thirst again.

His Name is JESUS, for He shall save His people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21-23; Luke 1:35) He will heal your sickness and disease, your broken-heartedness and despair. Jesus said to come unto Him -- all ye who are weary and heavy laden, because Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the ending. And when you understand and see JESUS as both Lord and Christ, and have been water baptized in the precious Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we too, like the apostles have seen the Father, and thereby know Him. (John 14:6-12)

Therefore, if there is anything I can say to encourage you, receive ye today the revelation of our Lord God and Saviour Jesus the Christ, knowing that until the day in which He was taken up, after that He [Jesus] THROUGH the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom He had chosen; to whom also He shewed Himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God ..."  (Acts 1:2-3)

Know that Christ must needs have suffered these things first, and risen again from the dead, so that we would know that this same Jesus whom is preached is Christ, before entering into His glory! (Luke 24:26; Acts 17:2-3; I Peter 1:10-12)

"Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow, unto whom it was revealed ... which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven!" (I Peter 1:10-12)

To Him be the glory and honour forever -- the Son of man who will soon come in His own glory! His Name is JESUS in this current dispensation of grace! The One and Only Lord God and Saviour! Stand in the offering plate.
