And That Ye Put On The New Man, Which After God Is Created In Righteousness And True Holiness - Part 1765

"Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Therefore, we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." (Romans 6:3-4; I Corinthians 15:29; Colossians 2:12; I Corinthians 6:14; John 2:11; Galatians 6:15)

"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus, for as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ." (Galatians 3:26-27; John 1:12; Romans 10:12)

"Buried with Him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with [Him] through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised Him from the dead. And you being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgive you all trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross, and having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it." (Colossians 2:12-15; Ephesians 1:19-20; Acts 2:24; Isaiah 53:12; Ephesians 6:12)

Baptized every one of us in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, remaining steadfast continually in the apostles' doctrine. (Acts 2:36-47)

As a consequence, we become "dead" to the Law - the ordinances of divine service by the body of Christ. "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the Law, but under grace." (Romans 6:14) "For if we be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the Law." (Galatians 5:18; Romans 7:4)

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together." (Romans 8:14-17)

"For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the Law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the Law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit; and not in the oldness of the letter ..." (Romans 7:4-5; Galatians 2:19; Galatians 5:8, 22; Romans 6:13; James 1:15)

Thus, we are delivered from the Law, that being dead wherein we were previously held in the bondage of this world, we can and should now serve in newness of spirit, standing fast in the liberty wherewith is Christ. (Galatians 5:1)

The mediator of the new testament, who paid the ultimate price once and for -- with His precious holy blood so that we might inherit eternal life in Him.

Therefore, by the mercies of God, we are to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is our reasonable service AND to not be conformed to this world. Rather, "be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (Romans 12:1-2; II Corinthians 10:1-4; Hebrews 10:18,20; I John 2:15; Ephesians 4:23; I Thessalonians 4:31)

When we begin to understand how much the Lord God must have loved His beloved creation, from the very beginning, knowing that He paid the ultimate price on the cross of Calvary, we can also be persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39; Ephesians 1:21)

Be thankful in your hearts today. Get to know our Lord God and Saviour Jesus the Christ personally, who after His kindness and love, willingly redeemed us from the abyss of hell. Seek His love by faith, working out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

His Name is JESUS in this current dispensation of grace, "for He shall save His people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21-23)
