Jesus Said, "I Am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, Which Is, and Which Was, And Which Is To Come!" - Part 1744

"By the Word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth ..." (Psalms 33:6)

The same Word that was with God in the beginning, and was God, is the same God who dwelt among us so that we -- His beloved creation -- could behold His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. As John the baptizer declared, "He that comes after me is preferred before me; for He was before me. And of His fullness have we received, and grace for grace, for the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." (John 1:1-18)

"He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own and His own received Him not." (John 1:10-11; I Timothy 3:16; Titus 3:4-7; Isaiah 9:6)

But knowing about Jesus, and knowing Jesus personally as our Lord God and Saviour is not one and the same. It is for this reason that we who believe in Jesus by faith seek His instruction and guidance within our very being (as did the disciples to find the Messiah, which is, being interpreted the Christ) so that we too could respond to His open invitation to come unto Him -- and believe on Him -- the call of Jesus in our own heart. (John 1:41)

For this same God "who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ!" (II Corinthians 4:5) But there is more -- so much more to desire in seeking and preaching the glorious gospel of Christ. That is knowing the Christ who became the perfect sacrifice for you and I -- the Christ who is the image of God. (II Corinthians 4:4; Hebrews 1:1-13)

And it is herein that we begin to understand this same Spirit of faith, according as it is written, "I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; knowing that He which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present [us] with you ... for all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God!" (II Corinthians 4:13-15; Psalm 116:10)

Looking at scripture:

Jesus said, "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you ..." (John 14:18) Jesus also said, "For where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there am I in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:20)

Apostle Paul wrote -- "For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ ..." (Philippians 1:19) And again, "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." (II Corinthians 3:17)

Thus, what is His Name in this current dispensation of grace? JESUS! "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His Name JESUS for He shall save His people from their sins ... Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us!" (Matthew 1:21-23)

" ... and he called His Name JESUS." (Matthew 1:25; Luke 2:7, 21, 35; Acts 4:12; Philippians 2:9)

This same God "who ALONE spreads out the heavens, and treads upon the waves of the sea," He was manifest in the flesh for you and I. (Job 9:8; I Timothy 3:16) This same Spirit of God who "hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life" willingly became our Saviour -- after His kindness and love for you and I. (Job 33:4; Titus 3:4-7)

This same God who asked, "Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddling band for it, and brake up for it My decreed place, and set bars and doors, and said, "Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?" Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the day spring to know His place; that it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?" (Job 38:4-13)

Indeed, the Lord hath made all things for Himself, for His own pleasure hath He redeemed those who respond to His love. (Proverbs 16:4) "This people have I formed for Myself; they shall shew forth My praise." (Isaiah 43:21) "That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there IS NONE BESIDE ME. I AM THE LORD, and THERE IS NONE ELSE!" (Isaiah 45:6-8)

"I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace ... I the Lord do all these things. Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it." (Isaiah 45:6-8) The same Lord who came forth as a mighty man. (Isaiah 42:13; Isaiah 9:6)

Throughout the old, the prophets declared that God is One. The first commandment states: "Hear O Israel, the Lord thy God is ONE LORD" and that we are to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29-31) Yes, "Lo, the volume of the book is written of Me!"

Not another, or a G/god separated into thirds, or multiple personalities as the world would have you believe, but the ONE AND ONLY GOD ALMIGHTY who created the world in the beginning loved us enough to shed His precious holy blood so that we might have life through Him. (Titus 3:4-7; John 1:10-11; I Timothy 3:16)

Other scriptures worthy of noting?

And Hezekiah prayed before the Lord, and said, "O LORD GOD of ISRAEL, which dwells between the cherubims -- THOU ART THE GOD, even Thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; Thou hast made heaven and earth." (II Kings 19:15)

"Thou, even Thou, art Lord alone; Thou hast made the heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and Thou preserve them ALL; and the host of heaven worship Thee." (Nehemiah 9:6)

On the new testament side, this same "GOD that made the world and all things therein, seeing that HE IS LORD OF HEAVEN and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands; neither is worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, seeing He gives to all life, and breath, and all things!" (Acts 17:24-25)

"Howbeit the Most High dwells not in temples made with hands," as saith the prophet, "Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool: what house will ye build Me?" saith the Lord, "or what is the place of My rest? Hath not My hand made all these things?" (Acts 7:48-50; I King 8:27; Isaiah 66:1-2; Psalm 102:25)

"For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him and for Him; and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist." (Colossians 1:16-17; Colossians 2:9)

This is why -- "But to us there is but ONE GOD THE FATHER, of whom are all things, and we in Him; and ONE LORD JESUS CHRIST, by whom are all things, and we by Him." (1 Corinthians 8:6) GOD THE FATHER RECONCILED ALL THINGS TO HIMSELF BY THE MAN CHRIST JESUS. (II Corinthians 5:19)

The dayspring from on high hath visited His people. And thus, "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power; for Thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." (Revelation 4:11)

Therefore, as a consequence of His love for you and I, this should similarly be the mind in you -- "which was also in Christ Jesus; who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God; but made Himself of no reputation and took upon Him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross, wherefore God also hath exalted Him, and given Him a Name which is above every name -- that at the Name of JESUS every knee should bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:5-11)

If ye have not yet asked Jesus to be Lord and Christ in your heart, and been water baptized in His precious Name -- the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, receiving His gift of the Holy Ghost, please do so this day, for time is short. (Acts 2:36-47)
