Pursuing The Unsearchable Riches Of Christ, And To Make All See What Is The Fellowship Of The Mystery - Part 2236

"... and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had afore prepared unto glory," (Romans 9:23)

"For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that He might have mercy upon all. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? Or who hath been His counsellor?" (Romans 11:32-34)

But there is more to heavenly riches than the monetary value of things the world idolizes. That is, the unsearchable riches of Christ, which we understand from the scriptures were foreordained before the beginning of the world. Indeed, when God created the world and everything in it in the beginning, He also knew that he would have to -- after His kindness and love -- eventually become our Saviour. (Titus 3:4-7; I Timothy 3:16)

Why? Because in reconciling ourselves back to the place of perfection (similar to the Garden of Eden), wherein we could be clothed in His righteousness, we needed to have an intercessor who would willingly shed His precious blood for you and I. In other words, there had to be a purchase. A testator who in leaving His last will and testament, could provide His beloved creation with an inheritance. For this cause, JESUS, for He shall save His people from their sins. (Hebrews 9:14-18; Matthew 1:21-23)

Thus, the salvation message, wherein we can be saved, includes repentance (asking Jesus to become both Lord and Christ in our hearts), being water baptized by immersion in the precious holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ (as an answer of a good conscience toward God), so that we can receive His Spirit dwelling within -- the Holy Ghost -- the Comforter, wherein He leads and guides us into all truth. (Acts 2:36-41; Acts 10:44-48; Romans 6:3-4; I Peter 3:21; John 14:26; John 15:26; II John 1:9)

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." (Hebrews 11:1-3)

More to come in the next blog. In the interim, stand in the offering plate.
