The Lord Be Between Me And Thee, And Between My Seed And Thy Seed Forever - Part 2040

"[There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." (Romans 8:1)

Herein, Paul is speaking plainly to the Romans about walking not after the flesh but after the Spirit, and that there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus. Indeed, as the scriptures declare, we are to hear ye Him! For God so loved the world! This is the good news gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. For His Name -- among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ.

Sadly, however, in many of the revised Bibles, the latter part of this particular verse -- the instruction that brings us manifold much in this life and everlasting life in the next -- has been deleted. The instruction that encourages us not to walk after the flesh but after the Spirit has been taken out. Removed! Of course, this is not the only scripture that has been butchered by the proliferation of recently revised versions, but in this case, it has serious consequences for new believers trying to find their faith journey while in this world. All this to caution those who believe in the Lord Jesus by faith to be aware of the Bibles we are reading -- that the Word is indeed a translation (from Greek to English if the New Testament) and not a revision of a revision.

"And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, [even] in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life." (I John 5:20)

This is why every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!

Let those with ears to hear, hear. Stand in the offering plate.
