Knowing In Whom We Have Believed; God Manifest In The Flesh So That We Might Find Abundant Life In Him - Part 2043

Ye shall call His name Jesus for He shall save His people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21-23)

Jesus said, "Look unto Me all you inhabitants of earth, for I am God and beside Me there is no Saviour!" (Isaiah 43:11)

He is the promised Light of the world. Jesus Himself said He is the Bread of Life.

As well, we learn that neither is there salvation in any other Name for there is no other Name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) Why? Because in this current dispensation of grace, when the dayspring from on high hath visited His people, the name of JESUS is ABOVE every other name in both heaven and earth.

"For unto us a child is born. Unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."  (Isaiah 9:6)

God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. (II Corinthians 5:19)

But sadly, as the scriptures declare, He (God) was in the world, and the world was made by Him but the world knew Him not. He came unto His own but His own received Him not. (John 1:1-18)

Still, the Word is truth and for those who believe, the Word is our foundation. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Our Lord and our God, as Thomas said of Jesus when he thrust his hand in Jesus' side. What else doth the scriptures proclaim?

“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood.” (Acts 20:28)

The message does not get any clearer than this. Indeed, God was manifest in the flesh so that we could find abundant everlasting life in Him. (I Timothy 3:16)

The same "God that made the world and all things therein, seeing He is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands, neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed any thing, seeing He giveth to all life, and breath, and all things, and hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed and the bounds of their habitation, that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He be not far from every one of us. For in Him we live and move and have our being, as certain also of your own poets have said, "For we are His offspring." (Acts 17:24-34)

Let those who have eyes to see, see. Stand in the offering plate.
