"Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is NONE other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
Rejoice evermore. (I Thessalonians 5:16) "Rejoice and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." (Matthew 5:12) Why should we rejoice? Because "this is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalms 118:24)
"Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, "Rejoice." Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4: 4-8)
Earlier, in Philippians 3, we read:
"For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh ... But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, and be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the Law ...
but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: that I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death." (Philippians 3:1-10)
Trust Jesus in your heart today. Repent and be baptized according to the message Peter standing with the eleven told the first 3,000 people who were saved in the early church -- found in Acts 1 and 2 of the new testament. Understand His righteousness by believing on the Word and His name. Study to show thyself approved. Rejoice alway and evermore. Stand in the offering plate.
