Rejoice With Joy Unspeakable And Full Of His Glory Forever And Ever, Amen - Part 2181

"And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defiles, neither whatsoever works abomination, or makes a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life." (Revelation 21:27)

"Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom ... " (James 2:12-14)

Jesus said that if we have the Light, we would be full of Light and no darkness could dwell within. Such a simple insight -- that Jesus, who is the Light of this world, the Bread of Life, the Living Water wherein when we drink, we never thirst again -- will not share His glory with another. And most certainly, not with the dark forces of evil. How do we know?

Because Jesus said, "I AM -- the light of the world: he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." (John 8:12)

Because Jesus said, " I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes unto the Father but by Me." (John 14:6)

Because Jesus said, "I AM come a light into the world, that whosoever believes on Me should not abide in darkness." (John 12:36)

And as we know too, Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords, Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the ending -- "which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." (Revelation 1:8)

And He said, "For a good tree brings not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

And why call ye Me, "Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Whosoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings, and doeth them, I will show you to whom he is like: he is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that hears, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great." (Luke 6:43-49)

When we listen to the voice of the Lord God our Saviour Jesus the Christ, we become attached to the One and Only Rock, on which the floods can rise and the storms vehemently beat against us -- but we who are clothed in His righteousness cannot be moved. Likewise, like a good tree we bring not forth corrupt fruit but the treasures that flow from knowing the Saviour, and His love and mercy and goodness.

And thus, we are attached to the vine, wherein flows abundant life. Joy unspeakable and full of glory. (I Peter 1:8) It is for this reason that we stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, no longer to be entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1) "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." (Galatians 5:22-25)

And also, like Timothy strive "that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus." (II Timothy 3:15)

That is, "Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen." (I Timothy 1:17)

Stand in the offering plate.
