The glorified Lord Jesus is inviting those who believe in Him by faith to the most elaborate wedding feast ever, saying, "Come and dine!"
This same Jesus who is King of kings and Lord of lords, Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the ending -- the root of the offspring of David AND the bright and morning star is calling us into His peace and joy and mercy, and into everlasting life!
This is the promise that was given before the foundation of the world was even formed.
