" ... because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them. For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse ..." (Colossians 1:19-21)
"Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood." (Acts 20:28)
The term Godhead is only cited three times in the New Testament. Each scripture is copied above. It should be noted that Godhead describes the Spirit of God that moved upon the face of the waters in Genesis 1:1-2. The Father also describes the Spirit of God, when He overshadowed Mary so that she could bring forth a son. (Luke 1:35) Similarly, the Holy Ghost describes the Spirit of God, that will lead and guide us into all truth.

"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwells in you?" (I Corinthians 3:16)
"For He whom God hath sent speaks the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure [unto Him]." (John 3:34)
"And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God." (Romans 8:27)
Conversely, the term Son describes the flesh of God. "And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father." (Galatians 4:6)

This is where the creation of a triad or tribal-une type religious god/gods have emerged. In some cases, the modern day religious culture promotes a three-headed god, or a god divided into thirds -- each with its own role and responsibility. Thus, we who profess to believe need to ask ourselves -- what doth the scripture say? What is written in His Word, because clearly the first commandment given by God to the Israelites in the Old Testament, and later confirmed by Jesus to the scribe states, "Hear O Israel the Lord thy God is One Lord!" (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29-31)
It is in this context then -- that flesh should not be considered part of the Godhead, for flesh is not the Spirit of God. The concept that the Son (the flesh or humanity of God - God was manifest in the flesh and dwelt among us bodily -- John 1:1-14; I Timothy 3:16) is in the Godhead is a concept that is a tradition of men. This is the case for several reasons.
First, as the Bible clearly states, the Godhead is IN the body (flesh) of Christ.

First, as the Bible clearly states, the Godhead is IN the body (flesh) of Christ.
Second, Jesus said that He must go in order for the Comforter -- the Holy Ghost to come and dwell in the hearts and minds of those who believe. Third, the fullness of the Godhead dwelt bodily in Him -- Christ Jesus. "For in Christ dwells all the fullness of God in a human body." (Colossians 2:8-9)Fourth, believers know that our redemption is in the cross and this is the appointed time when God became our Saviour.
"After the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared ..." (Titus 3:4-7; Titus 2:13)
This is why apostle Paul instructs believers to "beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily." (Colossians 2:8-9) This is why we are instructed not to let anyone deceive us with empty philosophies and fine-sounding words that are not the Word -- that now is truly both Lord and Christ.
Indeed, God was IN CHRIST reconciling the world unto HIMSELF. "To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the Word of reconciliation." (II Corinthians 5:19)
Jesus said, "If ye had known Me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him." (John 14:7)
Jesus saith unto him, "Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known Me, Philip? he that hath seen Me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, "Shew us the Father?" (John 14:9)
Jesus said, "Believe thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of Myself: but the Father that dwells in Me, He doeth the works." (John 14:10)
"For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily." (Colossians 2:9)
There is only ONE God. His name is JESUS.
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
