"To Him that by wisdom made the heavens: for His mercy [endures] for ever." (Psalms 136:5)
"Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." (I Corinthians 2:6-8)
We "have put on the new [man], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him ..." (Colossians 3:10)
Who is the Lord of glory? Our Lord God and Saviour JESUS the Christ. The promised Messiah who came to redeem the world from their sins. "To wit, God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself." (II Corinthians 5:19) Emmanuel, being interpreted, God with us!
As the angel declared, "And ye shall call His Name JESUS, for He shall save His people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21-23) After the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared.
As the angel declared, "And ye shall call His Name JESUS, for He shall save His people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21-23) After the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared.
"He hath made the earth by His power, He hath established the world by His wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by His discretion." (Jeremiah 10:12)
As it is written, "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him." But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so, the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God.
[But] now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ." (I Corinthians 2:6-16)
Why? Because that which is perfect has come. The dayspring from on high hath visited His people. And He [Jesus] said, "I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by Me!" (John 14:6-12) Indeed, the same Spirit of the Lord God that moved upon the face of the waters in the very beginning came into this world so that we might have abundant peace and joy in Him.
He paid the ultimate price -- having shed His precious holy blood on that cross -- so that you and I might have abundant life in Him. After the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared. (Titus 3:4-7; I Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6)
Bless His Holy Name!
Thus, when we believe in the resurrected Christ -- the resurrected Jesus as both Lord and Christ, and are water baptized in His Name -- into the Name of JESUS -- we receive the Holy Ghost which leads and guides us into all truth. It is His Spirit dwelling within that teaches us to spiritually discern between truth and falseness, and likewise receive the things of the Spirit of God. When His Spirit dwells within, as the scripture saith, we have the mind of Christ. (Acts 2:36-41)
" ... be renewed in the spirit of your mind!" (Ephesians 4:23)
"For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day." (II Corinthians 4:16)
But contrary to the worldly acquisition of knowledge, we who believe in the Lord Jesus by faith know that it is not by our own might and power that we are rescued, but rather by the mercy and kindness of the Spirit of the Lord God. Solely because of His goodness and grace can we receive His free gift of salvation. As the scripture saith, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost ..."
Thus, "be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (Romans 12:2)
And also, wait upon the Lord -- for they who "wait upon the Lord shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)
And also, wait upon the Lord -- for they who "wait upon the Lord shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)
The everlasting gospel that needs to be told in every nation, to every people and kindred, and in fact to all the ends of the world. This same Jesus -- the Lord God from heaven-- the King of kings and Lord of lords, Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the ending. (Revelation 1:8)
