Our Hope Is In Jesus the Christ ... His Grace is Sufficient For Thee - Part 1166

Ye shall call His name Jesus for He shall save His people from their sins ... God with us. (Matthew 1:21-23)

Yes, all those who put their trust in Him shall never be ashamed. Indeed, Jesus said, "Look to me all you inhabitants of earth, for I am God and beside Me there is no Saviour!" (Isaiah 43:11)

Neither is there salvation in any other name for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby anyone can be saved. (Acts 4:12) The name of JESUS is ABOVE every other name in heaven, and upon earth.

"For unto us a child is born. Unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."  (Isaiah 9:6) God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. He (God) was in the world, and the world was made by Him. (John 1:1-18)

God was manifest in the flesh. (I Timothy 3:16)

Apostle Paul, while on a missionary journey stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and declared to the gathered crowd who He -- Almighty God -- was. At the time, these were ignorantly worshiping an unknown god. "For as I passed by, and behold your devotions, I found an altar with the inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, Him declare I unto you." (Acts 17:23)

Who did Paul preach?

"God that made the world and all things therein, seeing He is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands, neither is worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed any thing, seeing He giveth to all life, and breath, and all things, and hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed and the bounds of their habitation, that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He be not far from every one of us. For in Him we live and move and have our being, as certain also of your own poets have said, "For we are His offspring."

For as much then as we are the offspring of God we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. And the times of this ignorance, God winked at; but now command all men everywhere to repent; because He hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom He hath ordained, whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead." (Acts 17:24-34)

Who did Paul preach? He preached that man whom He Himself hath ordained and hath raised from the dead. Yes, He preached Jesus to the crowds. So why then is it so hard to acknowledge that the same God who the apostles worshiped has not changed since the days of the early church? But I digress.

His name is still Jesus. Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. (John 1:1-18) He came unto His own and His own received Him not.

The very Word that has made world systems crumble. The very Word that makes the demons of this world tremble at His name. The very Word that establishes have-not nations into have nations. And nations that were once established by the preaching of this very Word and the praising of the name of Jesus, upon turning aside, are no longer great.

Remember when the Queen is recorded as saying, "Gladly, would I cast my crown at His feet!" And during Her reign Britain became great! Likewise the Americas were established upon reformation truths. People hungering to build a nation which would be built and established upon the truths contained in the King James Version of the New Testament scriptures. In God we trust (that God’s name was and still is JESUS!) Canada, likewise was to be established upon the principle that He (JESUS) shall have dominion from coast to coast!

So what happened? The false teaching of the scarlet woman resurrected itself. Those very false teachings that had ruled and chained the populace down through the ages is making her presence known in this day and age. The dark night of her ignorance toward the Word of God, being kicked out by the reformers. The same revival needs to happen again. That is, the populace introduced to the light which shines much brighter than the noonday sun (heavenly sunshine) -- that in learning about Jesus will also know firsthand that the truth will set them as captives free.

This is why it is critical that we preach the Word, and in so doing, kick out the bondmaid and her son. Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1) As JESUS people who know without any doubt who our Lord God and Saviour is!

Called into liberty. (Galatians 5:13) Worship the King of kings and Lord of lords. The one and only Lord thy God, who loved us enough to shed His holy blood on a cross. Indeed, as the scripture states in both the old and new covenants/testament, "beside Him there is no Saviour." (Isaiah 43:11)

Read His Word for understanding. Stand fast in the apostles doctrine, including repentance, and water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus. (Acts 2:37-42) Rejoice, because now you have received the gift of the Holy Ghost -- the Spirit of God living within.
