My Soul Doth Magnify My Lord God and Saviour Jesus - Part 730

Have you ever considered "whom" we magnify when we "magnify His name with all our soul, our mind and our body?" Certainly, the scriptures are clear on this point. That is, we worship Jesus -- the only name under heaven whereby we can be saved. Indeed, Acts 4:12 states, "Neither is there salvation in any other -- for there is none other name under heaven given among men -- whereby we must be saved."

But traditional religion combined with the deceitful forces of this earth continues to change the original salvation message -- decided by God Himself before the foundation of the world was shaped. Indeed, in many cases, these institutions have chosen to downplay Jesus' words that state,: "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes unto the Father but by Me." (John 14:6)

"To wit, God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing them, [but rather having] committed unto us the Word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us -- Christ's stead -- be ye reconciled to God. For He hath made Him to be sin for us, He who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." (II Corinthians 5:19-21)

In other words, God became flesh so that you and I could be reconciled to Him. God with us -- both God and man -- so that when we accept His grace and mercy, and choose to make Jesus the only Lord in our lives, we have everlasting life.

In fact, there was no other way to achieve salvation. For when we were the servants of sin, we were free from righteousness. But in those days, what fruit had we in those things whereof we are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. The Bible states that the wages of sin is death.

But the scriptures also state that "the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Therefore, when we accept Jesus into our lives -- His mercy and love -- His healing and spiritual renewal for our lives through the precious blood that He shed on the cross of Calvary, we are made free from sin -- so that we can become servants to  only God Almighty who loved us enough to become as one of us. Jesus -- God in the flesh -- loved us from the beginning. (John 1:1-18).

He that knew no sin took upon Himself sin so that you and I could enjoy HIs fruit unto holiness "and in the end everlasting life." (Romans -6:20-23) This is why we do everything that we do in the name of our Lord God and Saviour Jesus the Christ. Because "besides Me, there is no other." (Isaiah 43:11)

Therefore, "whatsoever you/we do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus." (Colossians 3:17) Let him that hath ears to hear, hear. And let your soul magnify our Lord God and Saviour Jesus. Stand in the offering plate.
