If God Be For Us, Who Can Be Against Us? - Part 719

Who shall separate us from the love of Jesus the Christ? The scripture states that whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed "for Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one [of us] that believes." (Romans 10:4) This is why "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, though shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)

If we pursue these scriptures further, we begin to realize that "if God be for us, who can be against us?" For of Him, and through Him and to Him are all things; to whom be glory for ever. Indeed, He that spared not His only begotten but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Therefore, who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? After all, it is God that justifies. Or who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, making intercession for us. "He is able to save them to the uttermost that come to God by Him, seeing He ever lives to make intercession for them." (Hebrews 7:25)

In fact, when we believe in Jesus and willingly desire to do His will, we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all. "And every priest stands daily ministering and offering, oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this man after He had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God, from henceforth expecting till His enemies be made His footstool. For by one offering He hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified." (Hebrews 10:11-14)

In other words, as believers in the Most High, we become more than conquerors through Him that loved us. Therefore, let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering (for He is faithful that promised). And be persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39) Stand in the offering plate.
