Every house is built by someone but He who built all things is God our Saviour.
The grace of God which brings forth salvation has appeared. God was manifest in the flesh. Indeed, in the beginning God (Genesis 1:1). In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God ... and the Word became flesh (John 1:1-14) God Himself as a Son over His own redeemed household is the redeemed now being the temple in which His Holy Spirit is pleased to dwell.
He the Holy Spirit in Christ purchased us with His own precious blood -- His eternal life blood flowing in the veins of the son child Jesus who was considered the Seed life of God who is Holy Spirit. Herein we see the grace of the Lord Jesus the prophesied Christ manifesting the love of God towards you and me. In that God as a Son, by the willing sacrifice of His sinless body has redeemed us to communion and fellowship with His Holy Spirit.
In other words, Jesus is the tree of eternal life. Now unto Him that is able to keep us from falling. Jesus is the one who presents us faultless before the presence of His glory, with exceeding joy. Therefore, holy brethren and sisters, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, who was faithful to Him whom appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house.
For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honour than the house. For every house is built by someone but He who builds all things is God. And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken after ward, but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.
Therefore, in Hebrews 3, we read, "Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, "Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of trial in the wilderness, where your father tempted me, proved me and saw my works forty years." Rather, ask Jesus into your life today. Enter into His rest and recognize that we -- you and I -- are made partakers of Christ in His glory and mercy. He will present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.
Moving forward, take hold of our confidence in Jesus, our Lord God and Saviour, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. (Ephesians 1:7) Stand in the offering plate.
