The Lord is my Shepherd! The written Word establishes that Christ is the Head of the church. The scriptures also establish that He alone saves. Indeed, on Him the safety of His body depends. Therefore, the church ought to be subject to Him and only Him. Why? For it is Christ who loves the church -- the betrothed bride. Further, it was Jesus that surrendered His own sinless body of flesh up to death for His betrothed. It was Jesus who counted His own sinless flesh body to be incomplete without the companionship of His betrothed. What would life be worth without you? Yes, you and you alone! Certainly, creation alone would not break the shackles of sin that had engulfed His one and only love.
The demands of redemption had to include a righteous man. Similar to receiving a blood transfusion that replaces that sin tainted blood. Indeed, Jesus laid down His sinless flesh and in so doing, Jesus rescued His betrothed, sanctifying and cleansing her. His betrothed church body made her holy, purifying and consecrating her, and as a consequence, making her body free from all sin.
The Spirit of God washed His own redeemed betrothed church body with the washing of the water of His indwelling. Loving words of His declared promises. She in turn willingly submitting to His words of love, and even followed Him to death. Nothing would, or could, separate her from her betrothed. She descends into the watery grave. She obediently obeyed the words of her betrothed husband going down into the water and being baptized into a baptismal watery grave. She symbolically confessed that Jesus was her true lover of her inward being. There was no hesitation. She being desirous to be found faithful to only Him.
The Spirit of God desirous to present to Himself a glorious church-body. His betrothed as a beautiful splendid bride -- a bride who has not one spot or wrinkle, blots or disfigurements. This redeemed Church Body -- the betrothed bride of Christ -- became His purchased possession. Now born again. Now faultless and perfect. The Spirit of God which was in Christ loves His betrothed body. In fact, He loves His betrothed bride even as He loved His own flesh. For indeed, she was His own flesh. She was created in the beginning for Him. She was the flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone.
There were no limits to His love. There was no orders to her to do this or else. Jesus did not just talk the talk. No, He also walked the walk. There was no mountain high enough or valley deep enough to keep His Holy Spirit from His betrothed. So Jesus sacrificed His own natural body in order to woo her back from the house of bondage. Willingly Jesus sacrificed His own sinless body. And to do this, He endured all things.
Now that is love. No one ever cared for His betrothed bride like Jesus did. Yes, His betrothed was totally unfaithful, scarred, bruised, and mangled, encompassed by the wages of sin. The cheeks sunk in. The eyes dead. In short, a total wreck. But it does not have to be that way. God's love -- the love that drew the salvation plan is inviting you to the wedding feast.
Oh, the grace that brought it down to man. Oh, the mighty gulf that God did span. Yes, at Calvary. LOVE DIVINE -- ALL LOVE EXCELLING. Possibly, some may not feel this love divine. In fact, some may be playing hard to get. However, please do not shut the door on your true love’s face. There is no love like the love of Jesus. You and I are the betrothed bride of Christ.
Tell the Lord Jesus how much you need Him and desire His purposes in your heart. Tell the King of kings and Lord of lords how much you need Him to make sense of your life, Simple words. A simple prayer -- "Lord I need you, I need your love today. Come into my heart Lord Jesus."
Ephesians Chapter Five:
Now to others who think that they are the Head of the Church, well, pay close attention to the following message. You may be the Head of so called churches, but this one thing I know that when the crimson flow fell to the earth below, it was not the blood of an organization. Rather, it was the Blood of the Holy Spirit that flowed from the veins of my beloved, who alone is the Head of His People -- called by His name, the Jesus people.

Salvation is the Gift of God - PART 100
Acts 2:1717 speaks about the last days. That is during a period of time when God will pour out of His Spirit upon all flesh. A period when "your sons and daughters shall prophesy, telling forth divine counsels" and your young men shall see visions, divinely granted appearances. The scriptures also state that during these last days, your old men shall dream divinely suggested dreams. Indeed, God will pour His Spirit on servants and handmaidens, both slaves and slave- girls, men and women alike.
"I will pour out in those days of my Spirit and they shall prophesy, telling forth the divine counsels and predicting future events pertaining especially to God’s kingdom." If you continue on and read verse 19 concerning future predictions, please note that these will be discussed later. Verse 21 then states there will come a time when whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord Jesus, will be saved. By calling upon the name of Jesus, we mean invoking, adoring and worshipping the Lord Jesus the Christ. No ands or maybe.
That’s right, we are undeserving of grace. We do not deserve God's love but salvation does not emerge from us. Salvation is the gift of God. Take the gift of eternal life. God promised that you will never perish, neither shall any one pluck you out of His hand. Only you can ask the Lord Jesus into your life. Only you can ask and receive. However when you do ask Jesus into your life, immediately be baptized (immersed in water) into the Name of Jesus. Then you shall receive the gift of His Holy Spirit to indwell you.
There is only one Spirit. God who is Spirit is the Head of all. So why not let the Spirit of God breathe inside His own spiritual body which is the Church? Just as we need air to keep our natural physical bodies alive, and without air we die, likewise God who is Spirit life desires to inhabit His own Spiritual body.
Christ was the natural body in which the Spirit of God was pleased to dwell in. The Spirit of God’s plan from the outset was to make Himself a Spiritual Temple in which to dwell. But sin got in the way and seemed to thwart the plan. That is, until God Himself as a Son re-established it. Jesus died and rose again. The spiritual Word of God was shelled in a body of flesh. As such, the flesh had to die, and like every other seed on this planet it must be buried. The carcase shell discarded before the real in- dwelling seed potential can be realized.
God redeemed all His children in a Son’s body. Therefore, we are now the offspring of Jesus. Jesus' spiritual word seeded us and then His Holy Spirit quickened us. We became alive in Jesus. Admittedly, we still have the old carcases our natural bodies. However, because we have been quickened by the Spirit of Jesus our natural bodies ought to prosper. All the members of that Spiritual body are kept alive when the life of the Spirit of God that was in the man Jesus the Christ is allowed to rule and reign.
Unfortunately, the natural flesh demands dominion. Recall Abraham had two sons? One by a bondmaid and the other by a freewoman. As long as the bondwoman was around there was disorder. So it is in the worship meetings. The flesh wants to pop up and instead of being a one headed body we have another horn seeking to have dominion. Again, what does the scripture say?
Cast out the bondwoman and her offspring, for the son of the bondwoman will not be heir with the Son of the free woman. What does this mean? It means that when we gather together unto the Lord, let each and everyone of us believers assemble in unity of His Spirit, allowing the Spirit of our saviour to speak to and from the members of His own body. We need an atmosphere of praise and worship not a program formulated by the children of the bondwoman.
Our steeples of faith look up to you. Come sweet Spirit we need you, YES LORD ! Come in your own special way! Stand in the Offering Plate. The new testament promise is simple. I will be to you a God and you shall be to me a people. Peace Be to all who are in Jesus.

Precious Lord, Take My Hand - PART 99
Is there any sick among you? If so, the scriptures state, let them call for the Elders Overseers of the Church so that they may prayerfully anoint the sickly person with oil. This is not oil as in oil that we use for cooking or our vehicles. No, indeed, the oil we address here is the anointing of the Holy Spirit that falls upon the lives of believers. We are referring to the Holy Spirit anointed prayer that accompanies the laying on of believing hands now offered to the Lord. Similarly, along with believing faith, the touch of the Holy Spirit restores the sick person to health. And too, if that person has sinned, they shall also be forgiven. These signs shall follow them that believe -- they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.
Why do we know this to be true? Because Lord even the devils submit to us in your name. As the scriptures state, "Behold, I give you authoritative power to tread on serpents and scorpions and power over all of the enemy." In other words, nothing shall by any means hurt you. They brought to Jesus many that were possessed with devils and He cast out the spirits with His Word. Further, He healed all that were sick, in fulfillment of these words by the prophet Isaiah. He took upon Himself our infirmities, and He bore the burden of our diseases. This is why the gifts of the Spirit are so vitally important.
To one is given the gift of miracles. To another the gift of Healing, given to believers as gifts intended by the Spirit to be purposefully used. For if they are not stirred up and utilized, then the body of Christ suffers. Still, some individuals have never seen it in this fashion so they suffer, agonise, writhe in torment with tears daily. Nightly their pain descends like the rain. They pop the pills. They are cut open or they are rayed. Does it ever stop?
The question is often asked, "Why does God allow it?" Well, God is not the culprit although God is too often blamed. Jesus, who is God Himself as a Son went to Calvary and suffered for us. In fact, He bled and died because He loved the world so much even though the world was full of devil deceived inhabitants. God did this so that the world through faith in Him might be set free from the wages of sin. These include bondage, sin, sickness and demon possession. But as usual, we spin our tires and we listen to every squeaky mouth of religious unbelief that is out there.
We trudge our way through life, programmed by a systematization of error. Truly it is time to cut the cord. Get over the side of the boat and walk in faith. Why? Because the Lord who made you loves you. Moreover, Jesus bore our sicknesses and diseases. Yes, He did on the cross. It is time to look and call upon your creator, saviour and friend. Jesus will not pass you by. Call on Him today. Start believing in Him. You can do so by taking just one step at a time.
Precious Lord, take my Hand -- lead me on and let me stand. As the chorus goes -- I am tired and I am weak but you are strong. Lead me on through the night, lead me on into your light. Precious Lord take my life and lead me on. Believers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God is that you may prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers. As you faithfully grow in the knowledge of our great God and mankind's only Saviour who is none other than the Lord Jesus, the Christ. God's prescription is simple. Only believe! God is big enough to satisfy your every thirst. Ask for a miracle today. Have faith in God. Lord stretch forth your hand to heal us in the name JESUS.

Moved with Compassion - PART 98
We enter with boldness into the holy place of prayer with our Great High Priest Jesus who is our Priest forever after the Order of Melchisedec. Further, Jesus is touched with the feelings of our infirmities. He is moved with compassion toward us. He succours us for He in the days of His flesh was similarly tempted and tried in all points like we are.
When we gather together, we call upon Jesus, the indwelling light that constantly brightens our lives. We offer sincere thanksgiving and praise with our natural voices to the God who loved us so much. Others quietly render praise in unknown tongues, all worshipping in Spirit and in truth. An audible voice is raise. It is not our natural tongue that speaks but rather it is a spiritual gift tongue. Then there is silence. Another voice is heard this time and the voice is in the natural language, uttering deep and edifying words.
Some direct instructions seem to be embedded while yet another may receive a word from the spirit voice gracefully imparting tears of comfort. Who knows what God, who is in the midst of His people ministers? What we do know is that those who needed comfort receive comfort. We also know that God knows what each and every one of us need.
The scriptures state, "Be still, and know that I AM GOD." This is the message that we need to grasp. Tongues accompanied with the gift of interpretation is an integral part of worship. Tongues and interpretation are prescribed but yet limited by the Holy Spirit to two or three times. If there is no one present with the gift of interpretation in the assembly then tongues are not to be expressed audibly, as outlined in the Word.
Note that the whole assembly may not speak in tongues audibly, as some television preachers advocate. For the Scriptures clearly state that if ordinary people or unbelievers are present when tongues are audibly displayed, the listening audience might conclude that the believers are all mad. But this is not the situation. Believers are not demented or raving or fanatical. The apostles recognized that this might be an outcome, which is why the scriptures state how a gathering of believers should function. I Corinthians 14:23 states that during these times, believers should remember the Lord’s death by partaking of the bread and wine.
The Elder overseer must lay emphasis on the fact that we are remembering the LORD’S suffering and crucifixion. Conversely, the Elder overseer needs to state that in so doing, we are not re-sacrificing the Lord's body. Just because the teaching of transubstantiation emanated from the Church fathers does not make it scripturally correct. Transubstantiation is nothing short of cannibalism -- drinking blood. That in some way is saying, that the sacrificed offering of Jesus at Calvary was inadequate. This is ridiculous, for it is written that with this one sacrifice --- God sacrificed Himself as a Son -- He did so once and once for all.
For as often as we eat this bread and drink this wine,we do show forth the Lord’s death till He comes.
The Overseer must instruct all that whosoever eats this bread -- which is symbolical of the Lord’s body -- and whosoever drinks this wine -- which is symbolical of the blood of the Holy Spirit -- then they the participants ought to and must first examine themselves; for the admonition is that whosoever eats and drinks unworthily may be eating and drinking judgment upon themselves.
For whom the Lord loves, He also chastens! For this reason many are weak and sickly among believers and many die, simply because they did not stop to discern that the Lord’s suffering and death on their behalf was no small matter.

Praise the Lord - PART 97
With regard to overseeing elders in Acts 20:17-20, Paul noted that he kept nothing that was profitable "but I have showed you and taught you publicly and from house to house" how administering the gospel message was intended to occur. Further, in Acts 20:27, the scriptures state "for I have not shunned to declare to you all the counsel of God." Acts 20:28 continues by warning believers to "take heed to ourselves and to all the flock over which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers." In other words, the gospel was saying, "Let all things be done decently and in order."
Scriptural references from Psalm 150 confirm a similar message. Praise the Lord -- Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet -- Praise Him with the harp -- Praise Him with the tambourines, drums and dancing -- Praise Him with the stringed instruments and pipes -- and Praise Him with the loud clashing cymbals. The Psalm continues with the verse, "Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord." Whatever we do in word, thought or deed, we do and offer it all in the name of Jesus.
In Luke 15: 22, the Father said to His servants, "Bring forth the best robe and put it on him. And put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet, and bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it. And then let us eat and be merry. For this my son was dead, and is alive again. He was lost and is found. And he began to be merry and there was heard coming from the house a sound of music and dancing."
Now we need singing voices. The instrumentals sound wonderful, but it is the Word that strings the heart. A good comparison is the coating around the medicine that tastes good. In actuality, the coating is not the medicine. It is the same message in the gospel. It is written that God sent His Word and healed them. We sing hymns and psalms coated with the instrumentals. Both are united as one making melody in our hearts to our Lord. The atmosphere of praise fills the house. The elders encourage believers to worship in the beauty of holiness. The Elders allowing ample and adequate opportunity for testimonies to be presented one by one. Indeed, the scriptures state that all may testify one by one, so that all who hear the testimonies may learn and be comforted by the words of others.
The overseeing elders then gracefully step into the manifestation of the gifts of prophesy, revelation, tongues and interpretation, healing miracles and testimonies. The Elder emphases that the spirit of the gifted believer is subject to the gifted believer. Recall that no prophesy of the scripture remains a private interpretation. Therefore, allowance must be made for input from others if perchance something is revealed to another. The scriptures state to limit the prophets who speak to two or three, and let the believers weigh or judge what is said.
Other believers may need refreshing as to the first principles of the teachings and doctrine of the Christian faith. Still, we will continue on in our next presentation to the other gifts of the Holy Spirit so that those who have pushed the gifts of the Holy Spirit aside have to confront their actions in view of the scriptures. This reference here is to those unbelieving assemblies that have a preference to establishing their agenda -- the deeds of the Nicolaitians which thing the Lord hates.
Lord have your own way in your own body (Church) that we believers may drink of your pure Word. May the Holy Spirit of God which indwelt the man Jesus the Christ who is/was none other than the only begotten Son of God’s Spirit bless you all! Stand in the offering plate.

The Hour I First Believed - PART 96
In I Corinthians14:26 Paul outlines a pattern for orderly conduct that would serve as a guide for believers when they congregate. As a local Jesus people meeting, the presiding officer is God. The same God who is the Father of creation, the Son of redemption and now the indwelling Spirit. When God’s redeemed children gather together as one in unity of faith and Spirit, they are purposely expressing with singleness of heart an offering of sacrifice of thanksgiving and praise. Thanking God their personal Saviour and Redeemer. God being none other than the Lord Jesus the Christ.
Talk about participation. Well, the spiritual adrenaline in a Jesus meeting would be spiralling with enthusiasm. Akin to our first love as this chorus states ... "Take me back, Lord. Take me back, dear Lord to the place where I first received you. Take me back, oh Lord, to the place where I first believed!"
At Corinth then, the believers were going to let the world know that what they experienced was the real thing. It did not come from the dregs of the genie in the bottle. Neither did it come from weed or turning oneself into a pin cushion. No sir. This high on life is something that the world never gave, and the good news is that the world cannot take it away either.
In comparison, the magic carpet ride of previous days was not even on the scale of 1-10. Why? Because with Jesus, we are sitting in heavenly places. In a place where there are no hangovers. Instead, there is only joy unspeakable. This is why some of us are so glad for the Holy Ghost gift of tongues. Because with tongues, our spirit can give thanks to God Almighty in a way that language and words cannot. Yes, even sometimes with groaning that just could not be uttered.
At this point, making fixed rules as or a schedule for worship is difficult. For example, if one were to stringently impose a form, then at which point would stringent order surmount spiritually desired worship. This is a question that I'm sure the Apostles asked as well. So, what recourse is necessary for believers to follow?
Well, first of all, Acts 20:28 shows Paul addressing the elders. He says:- take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost has made you (the elders) as Overseers -- to feed the church of God, the same church or body of Christ that He purchased with His own blood.
Now, with elders acting as Overseers -- appointed by the Holy Ghost -- they as overseers must instruct Christian believers that God is not the author of confusion. Rather, God is the author of peace. The Holy Ghost being the Author that defined the conduct for all the assemblies of Jesus people. How do we know this? In Acts 1:2, Jesus through the Holy Ghost commands the apostles whom He had chosen.
Therein, we also see that the gifts of the Holy Ghost and appointed gift administrations, operations and ministries are recognized as being the desired effectual worship. Within this gathering, each believer adorns themselves with the garment of praise, being clothed in His righteousness. Note here that the assembling together of the saints is not about seeking preeminence in the congregation but rather, that each member of the body of Christ can seek the edification of all members by allowing the prompting of the Holy Ghost to lead.
For it is written in the scriptures that Spirit of Jesus the Christ (the man) in the midst of His own Body (church) sings praises to the Spirit of God. It is the indwelling of His holy Spirit, which is the well of living water within us that enables and causes the believers to worship and adore Jesus.
It is Jesus who the scriptures state must have the preeminence in all things. "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do ALL in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him." (Colossians 3:17)
Hopefully; now we are ready to lift our voice with one accord, saying, "Lord you are God alone, the God which has made the heavens and the earth, and all that is contained within. We praise you Lord for your goodness and grace."
And then, stand in the offering plate while the Lord make each and every one of us into a new creation. Be blessed!
Be blessed!

I Will Not Leave You Comfortless -- I Will Come to You - PART 95
In previous posts, we saw that through the laying on of hands by the Apostles Peter and John, the gift of the Holy Spirit was given to the believing Samaritans. Although the scriptural record does not explicitly state that the Samaritans spoke in tongues when they received the Holy Spirit, we are able to assume that because of the number of other examples cited in the Bible whereby tongues accompanied the entrance of the Holy Spirit into believers, that it was an occurrence with the Samarians too.
We should also note that this was not uneventful occasion. If we read the scriptures we note that Simon, a sorcerer was compelled to offer the apostles money, hoping to obtain the same gift as was being manifested. In response to Simon's request, the apostles told Simon that his money should perish with him if he thinks for a moment that money could buy the gift of the Holy Spirit.
As a sidebar to this conversation, gifts of the Holy Spirit include the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit of Jesus, where He says, "I will not leave you comfortless. I will come to you." But in relation to the gift of tongues, it is a topic that has admittedly been much debated among religious institutions. Questions have come forward including whether it is reasonable in the 21st century to assume that believers today could still speak in tongues. Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. One of the favored verses used by institutions for opposing the gift of tongues is the scripture that states tongues will cease.
Unfortunately, it is only this portion of the verse that they rely on. In so doing, they withhold the rest of the verse which of course mention ‘when” tongues will cease. That is, "when that which is perfect will come." These institutions also forget that tongues were as a sign. Not to them that believe but tongues were given as a sign to those that don’t believe.
He or she that speaks in an unknown tongue, whether it be tongues of men or angels, or a completely unknown tongue is not speaking to men. No, they are speaking to God. The person praying is praying to God in a spirit language. Although his or her understanding of what he or she is praying about is unfruitful, at least in their natural mind, speaking in tongues represents a pouring out of one's heart to the Lord.
Put another way, in the spirit one is speaking mysteries. Even though the praying believers' understanding is unfruitful, the praying believers are being edified in spirit. For assuredly the believer rightly knows that God knows what is on their mind when they pray. Often, the believer quietly prays in spirit and at times he or she prays also with her natural tongue of understanding.
What then is the exhortation of the scripture, that believers who have the Holy Spirit gift of tongues should cease to speak in tongues. Indeed, believers ought to continue praying quietly in the spirit until the need of the spirit rests. For God who hears and sees in secret shall reward openly. At the same time, the gifted believer should pray to receive the gift of interpretation that accompanies the gift of tongues, in order that the believer’s understanding will be nourished.
"For in the spirit, the believer was speaking mysteries." Paul the apostle to the gentiles expressed that he spoke with / in tongues more than all the ones he was addressing . And as a crescendo, the scriptures also state that believers should not be forbidden to speak in tongues. How do the scriptures put it? Desire spiritual gifts because every good and perfect gift comes from Jesus, the true God as a son. The same God who Himself Fathered us at Calvary. God as a son sacrificed Himself for His children. In other words, God loves His believing children. Stand in the Offering plate!

God Will Be Glorified - PART 94
In the scriptures thus far, we have seen the gifts of the Holy Spirit being manifested through Philip. We also learn that God honoured the selection of Philip as one of the seven apostles. How do we know this? Well, when the assembled church prayed with one accord, God heard the united voice of His people and He, as the head of the church body, responded with abundance. The understaffed mission started received a supply of daily food necessities for those who lacked.
In Acts 8:14, we read that while the apostles were in Jerusalem, they heard that Samaria had received the Word of God. They sent Peter and John to Samaria. Upon their arrival, Peter and John prayed for the believing Samaritans so that they might receive the Holy Spirit. For as yet, the Holy Spirit had not fallen upon any of them. Had not fallen upon any of them but they had been baptised or buried into Jesus by baptism into His death. This is not baptism into the titles as so many religious institutions have adopted today but rather baptized into Jesus.
In reviewing the text, some questions emerge. In this scriptural passage, the believing Samaritans had not received the Holy Spirit, even though they had received the Word of God. The Samarians were also gladly baptized into the name of Jesus. They had seen the powerful gifts of the Holy Spirit demonstrated through Philip but they themselves, according to the scriptures had not received the Holy Spirit. This is not to suggest that the Samarians were not fully persuaded. Persuaded they were and overjoyed too.
But as Christians studying the scriptures, should we not ponder as to why these believers had not yet received the Holy Spirit? Remember, many of us were taught that we received the Holy Spirit as soon as we believed. Early indications, if we were to stop reading this outline here, would believe that something different is being presented here. An alternate message even though this is not the case.
As the scriptures indicate, the apostles Peter and John had prayed to the head of the body Jesus on behalf of these believers. These believers had received the Holy Spirit of Jesus which includes the gift of eternal life. Although Peter and John may have had a different gift than the evangelist Philip, it was not a different gospel. How do we know this? Because the scriptures state, "For to one is given ... and to another ...!" To each and every believer, the Holy Spirit distributes His gifts as He wills.
Philip had four daughters that prophesied, which shows that there is neither male nor female in the body of Christ. What it does indicate is that believers are all fellow labourers in the body of Christ, walking in His Spirit and fellowshipping one with another. As such, let there be no ism's nor schism's in His body. Instead, desire Jesus and desire spiritual Gifts. Stand in the Offering Plate!

Freely You Have Received -- Freely Give - PART 93
THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: The second on the list advanced in the scriptural records is the gift of prophecy. Note that this gift is not the gift of teaching, although prophets have been known to be teachers. Today, many of the denominational established churches do not make allowances for the exercise of this gift within the congregation. Other religious institutions seemingly exercise this gift in a manner that could be perceived as someone being high on something. The good news is that there is still an abundance of evidence that the real gift of prophecy emerges from the Holy Spirit. This is the topic of discussion here.
Remember, the Words of encouragement in the scriptures that indicate that we ought to desire spiritual gifts? If we truly desire a particular gift and we ask our Father for that particular gift for our own edification, then our heavenly Father would certainly not withhold His spiritual gifts from His children. The same principles apply to the body of Christ. Various gifts are distributed to some members because they are necessary to advance the gospel message. These gifts are manifest and in operation where the members of the body of Christ are responsible for multiple tasks. As alluded to above, the gift of teaching observed by the actions may go hand in hand with the gift of prophesy, but not necessarily so. This is why it is important to read the scriptures so that we are informed of these types of differences.
And then there are the Gift of miracles. An example can be found in Acts chapter 8. Philip was one of the seven selected by the people to serve the church in administering daily needs. As the scriptures point out, the required credentials were that the seven selected individuals were (1) honest men, (2) filled with the Holy Spirit and (3) and full of wisdom. Philip along with six others were presented before the Lord. Prayer was offered and the apostles lay their hands on the seven. It is recorded that the seven were appointed. It is also noted in the scriptures that the Word of God increased.
Philip, now recognised as a deacon went to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ (God manifest in the flesh as a Son ) to the Samaritans. The people heard Philip the deacon / preacher and they paid attention to the gospel message, particularly when they saw the miracles that he did. Unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them. Others taken with palsies, and lame were healed. Understandably, this was a time of great joy in that city.
Here, Philip, an honest man filled with the Holy Spirit and wisdom is now the deacon, the preacher and the miracle worker. Philip exercised Jesus over the demonic powers so that they would come out of those people who were possessed. Philip watched as people were healed. It did not finish there. Philip baptised the believing Samaritans into the name of Jesus. Of course, all of the miracles performed were in the name of Jesus. The Gifts of the Holy Spirit were in operation in and through Philip who was and is a member of the Holy Spirit’s own body. His only begotten son JESUS.
All of these gifts via the holy Spirit of Jesus were manifested in one man who was an honest man. Philip was filled with the Holy Spirit and wisdom before he became an appointed deacon, preacher , evangelist, miracle worker, exorcist, healer and baptiser. If we use Philip as a role model, pray tell, what God may have in store for you and me. The gifts to us and the calling of God for us to believe are given to us freely.
Freely we have received and freely shall we give. Lord, lay some soul upon my heart, and let me love that soul for you. May I forever do my part to bring that soul to you. Stand in the offering plate. Today is the day of salvation.

The Word of God -- Preach No Other Doctrine - PART 92
THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY GHOST: God who at sundry times and in various manners has spoken to us by the prophets has in these last days spoken to us in His son. God sent His only begotten son, conceived by the Holy Ghost (the only begotten) to bring to man a message concerning His own pure spiritual humanity.
In order to expedite this mission to an outpost of God’s creation it would require a messenger. This is why God who is Spirit clothed Himself in flesh and became the Apostle to the world. For God so loved the world! Indeed, for God so loved the world that once the plan of salvation was created, there would be no stopping God’s mission until all things necessary for mankind's redemption was fulfilled.
That is why at Calvary Jesus said, "IT IS FINISHED." The price paid in full by God Himself. Once and for all. But the cost was enormous and for many of us, really beyond our capacity to even slightly comprehend. God’s work as a son completed redemption even though still incomplete as far as God’s ordained plan for man was concerned.
God no longer has a body like we have, for He had sacrificed His body as the price of our ransom from sin. So what did Jesus do? He did not walk away. No sir. Instead, He appoints 12 redeemed believing persons to continue on with what He had started. Disciples chosen by Jesus. Made apostles by Jesus.
He did not change His personally delivered message. He told the apostles to go preach the good news gospel message - the very Word that He had delivered to them. The reason for a succession plan of such magnitude? So that the gospel message would not stop with them but would circle the earth in a manner that whosoever heard and believed would be regenerated to a new life by His holy Spirit.
Jesus "through" the Holy Ghost continued commanding the apostles after He was taken up. (Acts 1:1-4)
This is why Paul would say if any one preaches to you another message other than the message that we delivered to you let them be cursed. This is also why we recognize that the Word of God is coming to us freely delivered through the cost of Jesus life. One may try to preach another gospel or one may want to be an apostle (messenger). However, this Word and only this Word must be preached in all the world as a witness to all people.
So, if you want to be an apostle or messenger for God, make sure that the message you are delivering as the Word of God is truly the gospel message delivered to us and continuing to be preached unaltered by those who walked with Him. Fortunately, there will always be apostles (messengers) who will not preach any other message. They plain and simply would be unable to change the original message.
Sadly, however, at the same time there are others who are not so minded. These are the individuals that the scriptures classify as false apostles. (II Thessalonians 2; Matthew 24) No doubt you have noticed that Paul declared to be an Apostle of Jesus Christ, Jesus delivered to him the gospel that he preached. Many others who walked with him did not hang their shingle out as being apostles simply because to be an apostle one would have to be called into that gifted ministry.
It is the same today. If you claim to be a present day apostle then you will understand that an apostle holds back no scriptural teaching that might be profitable to the other members in the body of our Lord Jesus. In the end, the scriptures put it right.
The scriptures state, "try the spirits. If they speak not according to this Word, there is no light in them." JESUS is God’s Apostle. It is He who preached and delivers the counsel of God to man. Jesus who is God Himself as a Son chose 12 +1 believers to continue steadfastly in His Word. They, the 12+1, preached the same Word to us as had been delivered to them by God’s Apostle JESUS. God confirms their Word as being His Word to us today and as a result we now have much consolation. The final message - true apostles will preach no other doctrine.
And yes, that means abiding in Jesus in all things, including water baptism in Jesus' name according to Peter, standing with the apostles on the day of Pentecost. (Acts 2:37-42)
Let him who hath ears to hear, hear. Stand in the offering plate.

When There Seems No Way -- God Will Make A Way - PART 91
THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: In the previous post, we confirmed that God was the greatest missionary of all time. The reason for this conclusion is that God who is one spirit sent His only begotten son into the world (begotten not begat) to ensure that a plan of salvation existed. In other words, God’s love found a way.
Oh the length, breadth, height and the depth of His love - God's love for humankind. Nothing shall separate us from the love of God. His love being fully expressed in the man Jesus the Christ, who was conceived by His own Holy Spirit as the fleshly embodiment of Himself as a Son. The scriptures confirm "wherein all His fullness bodily was pleased to dwell.
God, now being found in fashion as a man delivered to mankind is not longer an unknown message. The scriptures declare that God Himself as a son was the originator and deliverer of God’s message of reconciliation. Similarly, this message upon delivery qualifies Jesus to become officially the apostle of God’s Word to the people in this world. This means that all others who decree that they are apostles must be qualified by the parameters of the Word.
Jesus called to Himself those that were to be His disciples, calling them friends. Later, as the scriptures point out, Jesus promoted His chosen disciples to more esteemed positions by calling them His witnesses. His messengers. His apostles to the uttermost parts of the earth. In short, Jesus had said to them, "Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."
It is also important to note that Jesus chose twelve apostles. He did not choose 13 or 14 or 15. Jesus only chose 12 apostles. God, who is spirit chose only one apostle -- Himself as a son to be Heaven's Apostle to Earth. Jesus, as a Son had all the authority given to Him as a son in Heaven and in Earth. But then Jesus appoints 12 apostles. Note that Jesus also chose one who would eventually betray Him named Judas. Judas was later was replaced by another apostle named Mathias who was elected by prayer and ballot casting.
Then the 11 became 12 again. The preliminaries that proceeded before the prayer and ballot selection is recorded in Acts 1:15-26. Therein, we read from the scriptures that in order to fill a position as an apostle was no small matter. The written Word laid out the criteria and procedures necessary prior to any one person being elected. We also read that Paul was also chosen by Jesus to be a chosen vessel. To bear His name Jesus among the Gentiles. Paul proclaimed that He was a latecomer chosen after the 12 afore spoken of - see Acts 9, Galations 1 and I Corinthians15 for scriptural references. The point here is that there is criteria necessary before someone hangs a shingle upon themselves.
The early believers knew that to be an apostle, one would have had to walked with the Lord from John the Baptist’s time. What I am endeavouring to present here is there are apostles and there are apostles. Not everyone who says they are an apostle actually are. The early believers walked steadfastly in the teaching of the Holy Spirit of Jesus now being delivered through the mouths of the 12 plus 1 apostles.
Jesus had chosen apostles to be His witnesses and messengers. Remember that the gospel was first preached by the Lord Himself as a Son fulfilling the apostolic ministry of the Spirit of God. The Word that was preached by Jesus was the very Word of the Spirit of God. The very Word spoken by the Spirit of God being committed to us by them who were taught by Jesus, those who had also handled Him.
God confirmed their word to us with signs and miracles. Surely, if God confirms the Word no one can disannul the Word. Stand in the offering plate. God is still the same Jesus. God in Christ does not change.

The Dawning of a Better Day - PART 90
THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: Prior to participating in a Corinthian assembly meeting, perhaps we ought to take a view of the application of those appointed to ministries. Beginning with the cornerstone Apostle JESUS. It is He that is the Apostle and High Priest of our profession. Jesus as a Son was the Apostle of the Spirit of God to mankind. Jesus' Words alone being the sole authority. It was He came from Heaven to Earth to show us the Way.
Although spiritual darkness covered the face of the earth, and a blanket of darkness covered the people, Jesus walks in and the darkness is dispelled. This is why Jesus is the light which is brighter than the noon day sun. When mankind saw Him, there was no outward beauty demanding that we should even bother to take a second look at His fleshly features. It is only when He spoke that we stopped to listen. It was not the sound of His voice that brought Light. No, it was the Words that He spoke.
His Words did not go in the one ear and out the other for those listening. Oh no. His Words were like lightning illuminating the darkness of religious stagnation. The Words that Jesus spoke were like thunder echoing through the empty barren wilderness of the inner man. He did not speak as the Scribes and the Pharisees of that period did. Instead, His Words were like a heavy dew upon a parched ground demanding a rearranging of the furniture in our Heads. A refreshing breeze. The dawning of a better day. A morning star.
The day of visitation was when God Himself as a son, as an apostle brought God’s reconciliatory message. Yes, JESUS is the chief apostle. God’s only apostle. Jesus speaking the Word of God ushered in a deliverance message of glad tidings and great joy. Words whereby a man or woman and their household could be reborn. Words whereby in all things Jesus would have the preeminence.
So we see that the Word was with God, and the same Word was God. Now being veiled in flesh appearing as Jesus the only begotten son. Jesus who is God Himself with us and who, as a son brought salvation to the world. A son in whom all the fullness of the Godhead was pleased to dwell. God delivering to us His own Word, whereby Jesus becomes the Apostle of our faith.
For without Jesus' Word, nothing would have changed. Salvation would not have been available, nor would there be nothing new to believe. Yes, Jesus is the cornerstone of our faith. Jesus said that upon this rock… the rock being His Word .. that He would build His church. And as a result of people attentively hearing and accepting His enlightening Word, we can now express faith in God. Yes God’s Words which were delivered to us by God Himself in the condescended form as a son.
Who is the child conceived of God’s Holy Spirit? Who is the child ordained by heaven Jesus? Who is God Himself as an apostle, the chief shepherd and bishop of our soul? The scriptures state that many shall come in His name, saying that here is the Christ or there is the Christ. But do not believe them for as the lightening shines even from the east to the west, saith the scriptures, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man.
When one puts their faith in the Apostolic Word of Jesus, instantaneously we were born from above. Born again not by the will of the flesh nor by the will of man as we might think. No, we were born again by receiving the seed - Words of God spoken through the mouth of the Apostle Jesus. The same apostle Jesus who is the one true God our Saviour.
Stand in the offering plate all of you who put your trust in Jesus. Never be ashamed. May God bless you all with His peace.

God of Peace and Harmony - PART 89
THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: The commonwealth to which we now belong and which we are citizens of is in heaven. It is from whence that we also look with expectancy for the saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall fashion our dying bodies unto His body. What do the scriptures state? Philippians 3:20-21"This is My body (church) and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it."
If we attend a Corinthian gathering, we can see how in step or conversely, out of step we are with today's gatherings. At first viewing, it would appear that enthusiasm is running wild and similar to a free for all. Everyone is attempting to participate in the proceedings. Indeed, it may appear to be confusion with everyone talking in the gift of tongues, elevating their voice in an effort to be heard. Women are asking all sorts of questions while others sing. Still others prophesy. Individuals are seen having hands laid upon for healing. And others seek a miracle.
Unbelievers are scratching their heads because they do not understand why, in the midst of perceived chaos, people are testifying about their experience. Topping the list are those who thought they were gathered together to have a meal. These people are eating and drinking supposing that in so doing they are eating the Lord’s supper. Yes, someone needed to get a handle on this immediately.
Everything was right but ironically wrong at the same time. The Lord’s army was out of step and perhaps, in much need of discipline. Well, at least within the event, there was life among those who were acting much like a bunch of kids without adult supervision. Unfortunately, these were not kids. Still, no one condemns their enthusiasm. It just requires a gospel bit to beautify.
Paul, according to the scriptures, comes along saying that God is not the author of confusion. God is a God of peace and harmony. He is not a God of disorder, Like in the beginning, the world was without form and void, and darkness ruled. The word of God was heard. The Spirit of God moved and order was ordained. The ordained order of conduct in all assembled gatherings is that all things be done decently and in order.
So one might ask - what is the proper order of conduct? Without appearing regimental, we should hold in mind that the true worshippers will worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Why? Because our heavenly Father is seeking heart felt spiritual inspired worship. Thoughts to consider as we go about our day.
Next, we will move into the callings and application of the gifts. In the meantime, desire the spiritual gifts. God intended it that way, regardless of the religious practices that have unfortunately been adopted as the norm. Stand in the Offering Plate. Come Holy Spirit I need you. Come sweet Spirit I pray. Come Holy Spirit I need you. Come in your own special way!

God was Manifest in the Flesh- PART 88
THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: God has set some in His body, which has now been made known to believers as the body of the Christ. Here, Christ being the only begotten son of the Holy Spirit. Christ being also the Word of God. The very same Word that was with God in the beginning, which Word is God Himself, now appearing as a son veiled in flesh. The same God in whom all the fullness of the spiritual Godhead did dwell bodily (God in Christ). Without controversy, God was manifest in the flesh .
God has set in His body, an array of members that appear to have more prominent positions than others. This is evident in how gifts are distributed. For example, (1) apostles (2) prophets (3) teachers (4) miracles (5) healing (6) help and supports (7) organisers (8) diversities of tongues and (9) interpretation of tongues. However all of the aforementioned with the designated numbers are not meant to be delegated positions of rank, as if these specific positions were demanding more acknowledgement than others. This is not the intent of the scriptures.
Still, there are those who will ask the question - where are you on the scale. The question will be asked even thought the scriptures are very clear on this point. That is, the church - body of Christ - does not adopt that scale or any other hierarchical scale. Peter was one of twelve "equals". Paul in Galatians notes that when he went up to visit the apostles at Jerusalem, he went to see Peter, James, and John. Referring to the three, Paul said, they appeared to be pillars in the church (body), adding that whatever title they had acquired by others made little impression on him.
At the conclusion of their discussion, Paul along with Barnabas were given the right hand of fellowship. Like the songwriter penned we are "One in hope and doctrine - One in charity." Why? Because God was in Christ Jesus, reconciling me and you. How? For the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man that he or she may use in their called ministry. Believers are enabled by the imparted gift of the holy Spirit of Jesus.
Paul, in encouraging Timothy writes that he should stir up the Holy Spirit Gift that is within him. We ought to do likewise. Each one of us must endeavour to fulfill our function in the body of Christ. If you have received your ordained gifted ministry, then we need to apply our functions in the body of Christ in order to allow other members to function. Without your participation, the body of Christ is a sort of handicapped body. It is forced to either rely or tax some other member of the body whilst we sit in the comfortable pew.
Look at Paul’s recognition of Epathroditus as recorded in Phillipians 2:25-30. Quoting only verse 30, it states, “for the work of Christ, he was nigh unto death. Not regarding his life to supply your lack of service toward me.” While many people today have never heard the gospel once, others work labourously spreading the good news gospel message. Shame on us. If we have been so equipped, we need to act on our calling. As the scriptures say, let us put in the sickle and reap ... for the harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few. In this context, we should pray therefore the Lord of the harvest that He would send forth labourers into His harvest fields.
We also need to consider re-offering ourselves today. Let us all begin to stand in the offering plate. Lord, take my life and let it be consecrated Lord to thee. Take my moments and my days and let them flow in ceaseless praise! God bless you all.

Jesus Stands at Your Heart’s Door Knocking - PART 87
Continuing in the message, the gifts of the holy spirit of Jesus, we recognize that God has arranged all the organs in His body as it has so pleased Him. Many members and yet only one body. As in the analogy of our human body, each member functions not as independents or an island to itself. Rather each one is inextricably intertwined, or as the expression goes, one for all, and all for one. The body only is in the body of Christ if it continues in His Word. Otherwise, we are no longer His body. Instead, the body becomes diseased with isms and schisms, entertaining all sorts of Nicolaitan teachings, things the Lord hates.
As outlined in the scriptures, the body of Christ (the Church) has only one head. The church is not a two headed monster. This church which was conceived of and by the Holy Spirit of Jesus ought to have the mind of Christ, with members going about our Father's business. The head of the church is the spirit of the Lord Jesus. Let believers who have ears to hear, let those believers “hear what the Holy Spirit of Jesus has to say within His own body."
The Holy Spirit of God has delegated certain members in the body as appearing to be more important members than other members. Honestly speaking, positions and hierarchies have little relevance if we consider this description in terms of our own bodies. Indeed, we give little or no thought to the parts of our body until we abuse them through exercising (or not exercising). The same could be extended to include indulging in eating or drinking too much. Of course, the little member hurts and immediately is recognised as a member of the body.
So too it is in the body of the Lord. If you eat the wrong spiritual food, you frequent the wrong places. In time, one becomes cold or lukewarm to the importance of God in our lives. Before we reach this point, we need to examine ourselves to make sure that we are earnestly contending for the faith that was once delivered to believers. God is not interested in numbers. God made a way whereby mankind could be saved. He did so by sacrificing Himself as a son.
We recognise then that the body is healthy and functioning properly when all the members are endeavouring to walk in the Spirit. That means that the gifts of the Holy Spirit of Jesus are not being suppressed by false teachers slipping in by the back door into the assemblies and seeking the destruction of the unity of the believers. Take away the money and you will flush out the gainsayers. The god of this world is filthy lucre.
But we, as believers, were not redeemed with silver or gold. We were redeemed by the blood of the Holy Spirit of Jesus who loved us even when we were dead in trespasses and sin. Jesus laid down His own life as a son for us. Behold what manner of love our Father has bestowed upon us. God is not the author of confusion. God is a God of order. So it is in the functioning manifestation of the body of Christ. God Has set some to occupy different positions in His body. Stand in the Offering Plate. Jesus stands at your heart’s door knocking. Why not ask Jesus to enter? May God bless all who are in Jesus!

The 9 Gifts of the Holy Spirit - PART 86
AFTER JESUS ASCENDED ON HIGH, HE GAVE GIFTS TO THE BELIEVERS.
There are diversities of gifts, but it is the same holy Spirit of Jesus that imparts them all. It is important to note that these Spirit gifts are given for the application of various ministries within Jesus own body. The body or church is the temple and habitation of the Spirit of Jesus. For those of you who are new to the gospel, there is only one body and there is only one Spirit. And, it is the same Christ in God who achieves His purposes through them all.
Each believer who is born again of God, (born of water and of spirit) becomes a living member of the temple of God. In this new capacity, believers become functioning members into the body of Christ. They become adequately equipped of God, and as such, are now capable of exercising completely that which other members of the one body of Jesus may have need of at appropriate times (each member serving willingly each and every other member).
The scriptures state it this way:
For to one is given by the holy Spirit of Jesus the ability to speak wisdom.
To another is given by the holy Spirit of Jesus the power to express knowledge.
To another is given by the same holy Spirit of Jesus, special faith.
To another is given by the same holy Spirit of Jesus, the gift of healing.
To another is given by the same holy Spirit of Jesus, the power to work miracles.
To another is given by the same holy Spirit of Jesus, prophetic insight.
To another is given by the same holy Spirit of Jesus the power to discern between true spirits and false spirits.
To another is given by the same holy Spirit of Jesus, the ability to speak in languages that he never formally learned. These tongues of men and of angels, both unknown or unheard of.
To another given by the same holy Spirit of Jesus is the capacity to interpret languages spoken through the gift of spiritual tongues.
Collectively, and individually, these nine gifts are the gifts of the Spirit of Jesus given for the edification of His own body (HIS TEMPLE). Jesus empowering each member and Jesus apportioning to each believer as He chooses and wills. For there is only one body. But within the body, there are many organs that work together in unity. In the same fashion, we are members of the body of Christ. We were all brought into that one body by water baptism in Jesus name and by the purifying baptism of His holy Spirit. We have all been added to the holy Spirit’s body, which is the body of the Christ. Because we are all members of Jesus' body, we all drink the same drink, and we all eat the same meat.
To this end, let there be no divisions between believers. For it is written "they shall all be taught of God." From here, we will now move into the law of the spirit of life, which indwells the body of Christ, breaking the shackles and the yoke of religious bondage, permitting believers to arise and take up the ministries of the Spirit of Jesus gifted to believers. Stand in the Offering Plate. Jesus said come to Me and I will give you rest.

Gifts of the Holy Ghost - PART 85
When we discuss the gifts of the Holy Ghost, we need to consider I Corinthians 13:10-12. Here the scriptures state "when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. But when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass darkly, but then face to face. Now I know in part but then shall I know even as also I am known." If we add the often cited verse 13, we recognize that among faith, hope, and charity, the greatest of these is charity. There is a reason for this.
However, opponents of the gifts of the Spirit look at this verse from a different lens. Instead of accepting that God will make everything clear when we see Him face to face, religious leaders interpret these scriptures to mean that since the scriptures have now come, there is no further requirement for the application of the temporary gifts of the Holy Ghost. But how is it possible? How can someone misconstrue the written Word to conjure up such a diametrically opposed rendition of that which these scriptures endeavour to present?
The truths contained in the scriptures is the end to all spiritual debates. As stated, let God be true. If every man opposing God’s Word needs to be classified as being in error of the Word of God, then so be it. God’s Word did not originate in us. It comes to us so that we might read the gospel and adhere to the message. It is never intended that man would recreate the original meaning of the text.
Indeed, as the scriptures state, when I became a man I put away childish things. Admittedly, it may have the childish things that enabled me to become whatever and whoever I am. In this context, one should never deprive children of childish things, nor rob a child of his or her childhood by forcing adult things upon childish minds prematurely. In the same fashion, Paul did not deprive the church of their God given holy spirit ministerial gifts. He just informed the church that God is not the author of confusion. All that Paul advised was that all things pertaining to the functioning of Holy Spirit gifts, should be done decently and in order.
For now we see through a glass darkly but then face to face. Even when one reads the Bible, they do not profess to know it all. If we were know it all, then why would it be necessary that we receive another comforter? The Holy Spirit, who leads and guides us into all truth is all we need. It is necessary for the Lord to open our understanding of His Word. It also explains why, at this moment, we do see through a glass darkly even while we grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus.
Of course, if one has never received the Holy Spirit of Jesus, it is difficult to understand Biblical truths, or to have an informed ability to discern between the truths and tradition. The scriptures use the analogy that it allows people to swallow a camel because of their lack of knowledge in scriptures. But it doesn't have to be this way. Have you received of His holy spirit since you believed? If your answer is no, then you ought to be baptised (by immersion) into the name of the Lord Jesus the Christ. Jesus is the door into the kingdom of God and upon entering in you will receive the gift of His Holy Spirit. God bless all believers who are in Jesus.
The Greatest Gift of God -- Eternal Life - PART 84
Before we move on into the distribution of the gifts, we have to clear the deck of today’s religious and primarily unbiblical presentations. As usual, the scriptures sweep all opponents of the truths becoming the Lord’s footstool.
Again, let the word of God be the sole authority. In I Corinthians 12:31 we read, “I SHOW TO YOU A MORE EXCELLENT WAY." On the strength of this scriptural reference, the gifts of the Holy Spirit would be diminished if we were to believe that the gifts did not exist. Gifts of the Holy Spirit being negatively spoken of as if they be repulsive, and that believers who advocate that believers should desire spiritual gifts ought to be looked upon as delinquents. Rather to be pitied more than listened too.
It is at this junction that adherence to the scriptures is paramount. The arrogance of religious leaders toward the written Word is satanic. It is written that when Jesus ascended up on high, Jesus led captivity into captivity. It is written that Jesus gave gifts of His own holy spirit to men. This has not changed. In fact, God continues to pour out of His Holy Spirit upon all believing flesh causing the recipients to speak in tongues and prophesy. The gifts of the Holy Spirit of Jesus are now imparted to believers in Jesus.
It is for this reason that all good gifts and perfect gifts come from God. As such, these gifts ought to be desired and coveted. I will not leave you comfortless, saith Jesus. I will come to you. Further, when our Heavenly Father bestows gifts upon His children, me thinks that is because He is my Heavenly Father. He knows the things that I have need of even before I know. I for one greatly appreciate my gift and hasten to open the package and enjoy God's gifts with much appreciation.
Still, the scriptures caution believers. There are many spirits that have gone out into the world. The Bible states to try the spirits and if they speak not according to this word, the Word being the scriptures, it is because there is no light or truth within them.
In spite of what formalized religion may state, Paul did not advocate for the laying aside of the gifts of the Holy Spirit of Jesus. Paul's presentation was, and still is that we desire spiritual gifts so that we can be edified and motivated to express outwardly that inward working of the Holy Spirit of God. Yes, save yourself from false brethren who constantly falsify the scriptures even as Satan did in the garden. But at the same time, get close to God. He has said that all those who are of God will embrace the gifts of the Holy Spirit of Jesus.
Believe in God for His gifts are good. And the greatest gift of God? Eternal Life.

A Wise Master Builder - PART 83
Continuing with the topic on the gifts of the holy Spirit of Jesus. In former days, some of us were blindly led astray to worship dumb and senseless idols. We were led into this darkness by persons who in all probability were themselves deceived. They now in turn pass along their erroneous error, continuing to propagate a lie.
“This is the reason that I must impress upon you an understanding." Today, as before, we are meeting persons who claim also to speak messages received from the Spirit of God. How can you know whether they are really inspired by God or whether they are also fakes? No doubt, you have met many who assert that they are Christians, attending church meetings and yet constantly curse and blaspheme the name of Jesus.
Indeed, one minute after 12 on New Year's Eve, probably the name of Jesus passes through the lips of many individuals. But surely, if one professes to know Jesus personally then one ought to examine their profession of faith. Why? Because not for a split second would the Holy Spirit call the name of Jesus cursed. How do the scriptures say it? No man can say sincerely that Jesus is Lord, except he is inspired by the Holy Ghost.
There are also gifts of the Spirit, whereby different gifts are given to different persons. Still, it is the same spirit who is the giver. The work of the Spirit of God is not a new work of God but a continuation of the redemptive work of salvation. The difference from the Old Testament to the New Testament is that it is now administered to the world by new (born again) believers who now are the new members of the body of Jesus the Christ.
Jesus body was cursed for us. As new members, we have to be equipped with the powerful gifts of Jesus' Holy Spirit. We are now a member of His body. We are placed as individual members into the appropriate members task. It is the Spirit of God who alone knows beforehand the body (which is the measure of the stature of Christ) requirements. This explains why it is the Lord who adds daily to the body of Christ.
Jesus is the wise master builder. As the builder, He uses living stones (believers) and not brick and mortar. His own temple in which He is pleased to dwell. As the fullness of the Godhead dwelt bodily in the man Jesus the Christ, so also will the fullness of the Godhead dwell in this new temple which is and always will be His only begotten Son. Now, as in any body there are differences in functions of each member.
In a body, there are normally a variety of activities associated with each part. Likewise, there are also a variety of effects. But, at the end of the day, it is the same God who is the master designer and builder who works all of these things according to the counsel of His own will. It is the same one God achieving His purpose through them all. The manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to each believer that each may use the gift or gifts that the body of Jesus be nourished.
For to one is given. Stand in the offering plate. Be born again just like Jesus said, of both the water and of the Spirit. And let the peace of God rule and reign in your heart!

For God So Loved the World - PART 82
John 3 :16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting Life. Although we often hear this verse quoted, the love that God has for us does not end there. In Timothy 3:16, the scriptures state, "And without controversy great is the mystery of Godliness. God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, believed on in the world, and received up into glory." In Acts 1:2, we discover that it wasn't until the day that He was taken up, that He, through His Holy Spirit, gave commandments to the apostles. Acts 1:11 states that this same Jesus, which is taken up from you shall so come in like manner as you have seen Him go.
And in I Corinthians 12:1, the scriptures state "Now concerning spiritual gifts, my fellow believers, I do not want you to be uninformed. We ought not to have any misunderstanding concerning the gifts of the Holy Spirit. They are spiritual gifts imparted to believers. Jesus breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit when we receive the gift of Jesus Holy Spirit. We inherit life giving gifts as gifts, imparted to us as a result of us being born again of water and of the spirit.
Yes we are born again into the kingdom of God. The experiences transpiring now within us are experiences that were previously unbeknown by/to us. For it is written, that eye has never seen nor has ear heard of the things that God has prepared for all them that love Him. No doubt you have prayed the Lord's Prayer. Thy Kingdom come. Well, lo and behold, we are now citizens of God’s kingdom and the King's name is Jesus. The same Jesus who when He was in the world as a man, revealed to Adam’s fallen race a pathway to the Kingdom of God.
Jesus Himself being the way. Jesus also revealing that He, and He being Jesus is also the door. Those people who redirected their footsteps as suggested by Jesus toward the Kingdom of God found that Jesus' words were not empty hollow words. Rather the words of Jesus were transforming words. Words that fired up faith and hope, forever inspiring life. Today, we have entered through the door. (Jesus' crucifixion opened the door in Acts 2 )
The Kingdom of God now dwells within us. Jesus is no longer with us on the outside. Jesus' holy spirit is now IN us. We now have to go back to the ABC's of the Kingdom of God, which of course we have never previously been introduced to. So, lets eat humble pie and sit at Jesus feet. Let this phantom writer, the holy spirit of Jesus, feed us with the bread of heaven, in order that the mind of Christ might become established in our forehead's foremost thoughts.
The gifts of Jesus' holy spirit is being distributed to every believer. Jesus is enabling individual edification whereby we are enabled to fulfill the appropriate individual ministry as manifest in our personal lives. In other words, our lives are complete when we live a purposeful life with Jesus living within us. We are now the body of Jesus, the anointed one. As Jesus' offspring was fathered by Himself at Calvary.
Therefore we ought to walk even as Jesus Himself walked. We being living tabernacles, a habitation of God's spirit now being manifest. Our God has washed our lives. Even though we are still clothed in sin prone flesh, we are able to overcome because greater is the holy spirit of Jesus now living within us than the sin prone spirit of the world. God's desire is that we partake of His spiritual gifts. Step into the offering plate.

The Word of the Lord from Jerusalem - PART 81
Jesus ascended and sat down, according to the scriptures. Why did Jesus sit down? The reason is simple. He sat down indicating that the work of man’s redemption was now complete. “It is finished.” This one statement, with so much meaning, underscored that the issued commission to His chosen apostles was complete. Also note that the apostles were to be His witnesses unto the uttermost parts of the earth. So it remains, even today. The Bible retains the Word of God as stated, continuing to bring the message of salvation to all ages. Most importantly, the written WORD remains to be the sole authority on any misunderstandings of the scriptures that might emerge.
This same principle applies today. The apostles exhorted the people to repent and be baptised into the name of Jesus for the remission of their sin, and as a consequence, 3,000 persons responded to the gospel message. The very same number of people were baptized the same day, proving that the Lord added to His body (church) daily.
But while this all happened in Jerusalem in 300- 400 AD, the so called church fathers decided to rearrange the Word written and confirmed by God. Instead of baptism in the name of Jesus, the church fathers rearranged and replaced the baptism of the early church with Matthew 28;19. Indeed, the interpretation, or should we say, misinterpretation emanated from Rome according to the cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (who was the declared pope). Well let us see whether the Word of God was to emanate from Rome or from Jerusalem.
Isaiah Ch. 2:2-3 states - it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills. All nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. That He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the WORD OF THE LORD FROM JERUSALEM.
Similarly, Micah chapter 4:1-2 states that in the last days it shall come to pass that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains. It also shall be exalted above the hills and shall flow unto it. Many nations shall come, and say to the people, come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord. To the house of the God of Jacob and He will teach us of His ways. We will walk in His paths for the law shall go forth of Zion. AND THE WORD OF THE LORD FROM JERUSALEM.
So what hinders you from being baptised into the authorized name of Jesus - in the same way that was preached initially at Jerusalem? Let God be true, saith the scriptures. He is the sole commander in chief of our salvation. Whatever He tells you to do, we are to do. In so doing, the baptismal watery grave into Jesus' death will become within you a well of living water. It is your call. Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
May the blessings of Our Great and our only Saviour the Lord Jesus rest upon you always. Stand in the offering plate.

Repentance and Baptism - PART 80
Luke 24 : 45 He opened their understanding enlightening them to the meaning of the scriptures. Within the scriptures, it is written that Christ should suffer and arise from among the dead on the third day. If we continue reading, we see in verse 47 that repentance and remission of sin should be preached in His name among all nations beginning at Jerusalem. This signifies the commission.
Reading on, Acts chapter 2 records that in Jerusalem, Peter, being one of the twelve equals was preaching. Actually it was the first time that public preaching had voiced/occurred since the disciples had received the infilling of the Holy Spirit. In verse 36, the scriptures proclaim that all of Israel should know assuredly that God has declared that Jesus who was crucified is both Lord and Christ. Upon hearing this in verse 37, the people were moved to the depths of their hearts.
They asked Peter and the rest of the apostles, what are we to do? The response? Repent, change your views, and purpose to accept the will of God in your inner selves instead of rejecting Him. And, as an expression of your repentance, let every one of you be baptised (immersed) into the name of Jesus, that you may have your sins forgiven, and you shall receive the promised free gift of the Holy Spirit.
This promised gift is to you and your children and also to those who are not as yet born, according to verse 37. Yes indeed! The promise is to everyone who the Lord our God invites and bids to come to Him. As a consequence, all who welcomed the message were gladly baptised, adding 3000 persons to the number of believers that day.
The following scriptural references uphold the continuance and practice of the great commission as outlined in the scriptures - Acts 2:41 Acts 12 :16 Acts 10 :48 Acts 16 :14 - 33 Acts 18: 8 Acts 19 : 16 Gal. 3 : 27 Col. 2 :12 Rom. 6 :1-4.
So what do the church fathers advocate in contrast to the above renderings? They asserted that all of the above was in need of their interpretation. Apparently, in their opinion, the ones chosen by Jesus to be His witnesses to the uttermost parts of the earth were incapable of discerning what Jesus meant when He said "they were to be baptised in His name."
What Jesus was really saying is that they were to baptise using the authority of His name, but not actually in His name, They were to baptise in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit but not in the name of Jesus who is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The question then begs to be asked. Is the word of God coming to you OR is it coming out from you?
Father, Son, and Spirit are descriptive titles. A partial list of authorities that challenge their deception include the Canney Encyclopedia of Religion (p. 53) and the Catholic Encyclopedia. In the latter text, the Catholics acknowledge that baptism into Jesus' name was changed by the Catholic Church (p. 263). Another text that alludes to the same is the Hastings Encyclopedia of Religion which states “in the name of Jesus” (Volume 2, page 378 and page 389). In another reference of the Hastings Encyclopedia of Religion -Volume 2 p. 377, it elaborates on Acts 2:38. The New International Encyclopedia in Volume 22 p. 477 as well. Indeed, the list goes on and on.
The key to this post then is that the scriptural version remains correct. The above encyclopedia references trace the origin of baptism using descriptive titles. Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (the now Pope) said that the origin of trinity baptism as it relates to the interpretation of Matthew 28 :19 came from the city of Rome. I hope this helps to clarify the scriptures. Jesus sent the apostles to Jerusalem to preach Jesus, and His holy Spirit -- the Holy Ghost - confirmed the apostles doctrine with signs -and wonders. (Acts 2:37-42)
God Bless!

He Laid Down His Life for Us -- The Just for the Unjust - PART 79
Reflecting once again on the 3 days and 3 nights message, we learn that the scriptures state, "Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up again." So we have established from the scriptures that Jesus was not crucified on a Friday, rising again from the tomb Sunday morning. Further, we also establish that Jesus was not literally 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb. Dake’s annotated reference Bible appears to cling to this interpretation when citing one verse. This verse states, “That as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale's belly, so shall also the son of man be three days and three nights in the bowels of the earth.” All the other verses displayed in posting 77 outline that Jesus was to arise on the third day. Paul also, as previously outlined in I Corinthians 15, verse 4 states “that Jesus was crucified, buried and rose again the third day.“
Now if Jesus was three full days and nights in the tomb, then that would make the resurrection occur on the fourth day. If this time line was correct then Jesus' body would have entered the state of corruption. But this is not what the scriptures state. Simply put, no one believes that. The high sabbath sometimes referred to as great Sabbath can occur on different weekdays depending only on the calendar.
Let's review what we've read then. Remember, the Jewish day starts at 6pm and continues through until 6pm. This time frame constitutes one day. Now starting at. 6 pm Wednesday -- being the same night as He was betrayed -- Jesus took the bread and wine and symbolically introduced the New Testament. On the very same day occurred the crucifixion, burial, the woman obtaining burial spices even though they never had to be used. This same day was known as the preparation day terminating at 6 pm. In other words, this represents one complete day.
6pm was the start of Thursday, the Passover day -- or High Sabbath -- or Great Sabbath. This day continued through until the following 6pm -- (one complete day). 6pm Friday -- the beginning of the weekly Sabbath continued through to the following 6pm -- again (one complete day.) 6pm Saturday was the beginning of the third day, which is the first day of the week of Sabbaths. It is on this day - the first day of the week of Sabbaths -- in which Jesus appeared to Mary at the tomb. He said to her, “Touch me not for I have not yet ascended to my Father. Go tell my brethren and say to them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father, and to my God and your God." John 20:17.
The ministry of sacrificial offering was still on going. Jesus, Priestly Order of Melchisedec was now being enacted! Jesus ascends, not empty handed but with the sacrificial offering of Himself as a man. He, being the only begotten son of the Holy Spirit, was the sacrificial offering. God Himself as a son. With that offering God is well pleased which is why we, can now come boldly to the Throne of Grace. The price of our salvation was purchased by God Himself, in that He laid down His life for us. Now therefore, there is no more sacrifice, nor is their any more offering for sin. He died. The just for the unjust.
We arrive now "Toward Even." 6pm which is effectively the closing minutes of the first day of the week of Sabbaths -- the third day then fully complete. This fulfills the 3 days and 3 nights that is so contested but should not be. The scriptures are clear. Minutes before 6pm (EVEN) Jesus walks into the room where His disciples were assembled. When He did, He said unto them, “Touch me. Handle me and See."
Come to the same Jesus, our great high priest and our one true God. Let His presence fill you. He will occupy you and fill your heart with gladness. Only you can draw the bolt to/of your heart’s door to let Him in. Stand in the Offering Plate. May God richly bless you all.

Saved by Grace - PART 78
The breaking of bread and the first (day) of the week of Sabbaths. Both of these are connected. First, God has glorified His son Jesus!. He has declared that He is Lord and the Christ. The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool! You are a Priest forever after the Order of Melchisedec." Indeed, this is the reason that the scriptures state, "Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord." There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we can be saved.
On to the first (day) of the week of Sabbaths, we see from the New testament scriptures that the church fathers are at the same old game of rearranging and revising the scriptures. Quite simply, the revisionist game is habitual to them. They just present their viewpoints with a different slant from the intent of the written word. Who would expect anything else? When one has a good thing going, they are not likely to rock the boat.
Still, the church fathers wrongly present the first (day) of the week of Sabbaths as the first day of the week, meaning the first day of the week - period - inferring Sunday. In I Corinthians chapter 16: 2, we read that upon the first (day) of the week, every one of you shall lay by him in storage, as God has prospered him. Offer your offerings before I arrive among you, saith the scriptures, in order that there will be no collections when He comes. And whosoever you shall approve, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
The collection or gatherings was for distribution among the poor saints that were being persecuted in Jerusalem. You will notice that Pentecost is mentioned in verse 8. Pentecost occurred 50 days after the first (day) of the week of Sabbaths. The recognition that pentecost is mentioned binds the first (day) of the week of Sabbaths as the day spoken of, and is therefore the key to rectifying wrongful presentations. It is not an opportunity to fleece the flock every Sunday.
Now we read in Acts 20:7 that upon the first (day) of the week, the disciples came together to break bread. Again, it comes up short on the translation. It should read on the first (day) of the week of Sabbaths. Note verse 16 - Paul was in a hurry to get to Jerusalem for the day of Pentecost. This again is a key point in understanding what the scriptures are stating.
Another step in the wrong direction by the church fathers is that they associate breaking of bread with communion. However, as we read in Acts 20, the people gathered together to break bread, not to have communion. In other words, the breaking of bread is associated with life. Jesus was known to them in the breaking of bread. Conversely, communion is associated with death. This is the difference. Further, we read in verse 11 that after Paul had broken bread and eaten. In Acts chapter 2:46, the believers continued daily with one accord in the temple, breaking bread from house to house eating their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God. They were not having communion. Indeed, they were celebrating in their daily lives, the indwelling sweet presence of the Spirit of Jesus.
Once more to tell it I would embrace -- I was only a sinner saved by the grace of God, appearing in the face of our Lord and only Saviour Jesus. Stand in the Offering Plate. The Gift of God to those that believe is Eternal Life. God bless one and all.

Three Days and Three Nights - PART 77
Three days and three nights. This phrase is used 11 times in the scriptures and each time it is in connection with His resurrection. Matthew16:2; Matthew17:23; Mark 9: 31; 10:34: Luke 9:22: 18:33: 24:7,46; Acts 10: 40; I Cor. 15:4; Mark 8:31 and in Matthew 12:40. In the latter scripture, the time was to be three days and three nights. If we interject the above collective references we find that upon the third day He was to arise again. Jesus said that "in three days, I will raise this temple up."
Please note that if we believed the presentations that some are making, whereby they present that Jesus was to be three full days and three full nights in the tomb, He then would have been resurrected in the fourth day. This would mean that His body entered corruption, whereas the scripture declare that the Spirit of God would not allow His Holy One to enter the phase of corruption.
After reading Leviticus 23, we see that the offering of first fruits typified the resurrection of Jesus the Christ. (I Corinthians 15:12-23 elaborate on this point). The first fruit had to be offered on the first day of the week of Sabbaths. Every Sunday is not the first day of the week of Sabbaths. Jesus was sacrificed once and there is only one offering for sin - once and once for all.
Indeed, just because there are some who want to offer their own version of events does not qualify them to mistakenly re-offer Jesus. It is simply impossible because Jesus offered up Himself as a Son. In actual fact, on the first day of the week of Sabbaths, Mary misidentified Jesus as the gardener. It was not until she heard Jesus' familiar voice that she realise it was the Lord. At the time, Jesus said to Mary, “Touch me not for as yet I have not ascended." Yes, JESUS was still on His purposed mission to accomplish our total deliverance. The prophecy, not yet complete, was still being fulfilled in order to expedite the wave offering required in/by Leviticus chapter 23. That is, there needs to be a priest. Jesus steps into His promised priesthood as a man, that promise being, “You are a Priest forever after the order of Melchisedec."
Now He, as the "one mediator priest" ascended, presenting Himself as the sacrificial lamb of God without blemish. He is offering up Himself. He is offering His own sacrificed body to Himself the Eternal Spirit, thereby establishing the everlasting testament paid for in full. He did so with the sacrifice of His own blood, which is the life giving blood of the Holy Spirit that had flowed in the veins of His holy child Jesus.
Jesus our priest offered Himself. The only begotten son who had sacrificed Himself to be accepted on our behalf. We know without a doubt, that with that sacrifice God is well pleased. We also know according to the scriptures that Jesus appeared in many forms that first day of the week of Sabbaths. Still, no one was allowed to touch Him. No touching UNTIL the three days and nights criteria was fully satisfied.
But Mary at the tomb, at least initially, did not recognise Him. Also, the two on the road to Emmaus did not recognise Him. In fact, none recognized Jesus until He was made known to them in the breaking of bread, where upon, as the scriptures state, Jesus disappeared from their sight. It was toward even on the first day of the week of Sabbaths that Jesus appears to them in a locked room where they were hiding for fear of the authorities. This time Jesus told them to handle Him and see that a spirit has not flesh and bones. The Priest’s sacrificial offering of Himself as a Son accepted. It is at this point that the completion of the three days and three nights are fulfilled. JUST PRIOR TO that which is called EVEN which is 6pm.
So let's reflect on how the time transpires in days that we can understand. Sunday 6pm to Saturday 6pm. - a period of one day - “which in effect was the first day of the week of Sabbaths." Saturday 6 pm to Friday 6pm (one day) which in effect was the normal weekly Sabbath. Friday 6pm to Thursday 6pm (one day) which was the high day Sabbath. Thursday 6 pm to Wednesday 6pm (Preparation day, crucifixion, burial, obtaining spices, Lord’s Passover introduced).
Please note that if we believed the presentations that some are making, whereby they present that Jesus was to be three full days and three full nights in the tomb, He then would have been resurrected in the fourth day. The Foundation of Knowledge - PART 76
If the church fathers - religious leaders - misinterpret the scriptures, then it's easy to understand why the church fathers flunked new math too. Guess it's back to the drawing board for them. For example, the same misinterpretation of the scriptures occurs when we discuss circumcision. From the scriptures, we learn that circumcision in the Old Testament was carried out 8 days after birth. Today, however, the church fathers have adopted infant sprinkling in the place of circumcision but they do so with no scriptural justification.
It is almost as if institutionalized modern day religion is endeavouring to link circumcision and infant sprinkling as one and the same. That perhaps in their mind there is a similarity between the two. It is even more deceiving when they lead people to believe that there is some sort of crossover in the New Testament for their motives. Unfortunately, the assumption is ridiculous inasmuch as the new testament is a NEW testament, meaning that the old covenant is out. Indeed, the New testament is not an addendum to the old covenant. But the church fathers should know this. Instead, however, we see that the church fathers are up to the same old tricks of distorting the Scriptures. the Jewish weekly Sabbath falls on a Saturday. We know because of the references embedded in the scriptures around the entombment of Jesus that Even was approaching so they hastily entombed the body of Jesus, before the start of the Jewish Sabbath.
In other words, the Jewish Saturday Sabbath was approaching. The Jewish day starts at 6 pm in the evening of one day and finishes at 6 pm in the evening of the day following. The reason this point is so important is that religious leaders today are adamant that Jesus was crucified and buried on the Friday toward 6pm. The Jewish Sabbath commences at 6pm Friday terminating 6pm Saturday. This means that from 6pm Saturday to 6pm Sunday the day referred to the first of the week. So, Jesus, according to the church fathers reconning must have arose from the tomb early Sunday morning at dawn. The scriptures are not in error. The scriptures cannot be broken. Just because the church fathers propagated an error does not mean that the scriptures are rendered ineffective. In fact, as Christian believers, the one point that we can remain steadfast on until eternity is that the scriptures are the foundation of our beliefs. Our assurance and our confidence are not misplaced when we rely on Biblical truths.
But if this projection put forward by religious leaders today were the summation of Bible truths, and we relied upon their version, then the scriptures would most certainly be broken. This is why God in His infinite wisdom ensured that we had a scriptural foundation in which to form our Christian beliefs. Please take the time to refresh yourselves with the Bible.
Most importantly, remember that Jesus did die so that we might find salvation. Remember too that when Jesus rose from the tomb, He fulfilled the prophecies outlined in Leveticus 23. And yes, Jesus rose on the first day of the week of Sabbaths, after spending three days and three nights in the bowels of the earth. If we do the math, we can find out for ourselves that the scriptures have been telling us the truth all along.
These are examples of religious presentations being made on behalf of the scriptures that really, at the end of the day, have no Biblical foundation. Stand in the Offering Plate. God bless!
