Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in Him, but the just shall live by His faith." (Habakkuk 2:4)
"For He whom God hath sent speaks the words of God; for God gives not the Spirit by measure unto Him" ... His name Jesus for He shall save His people from their sins. (John 3:34; Matthew 1:21-23)
This is why the Jews marvelled, saying about Jesus, "How knows this man letters, having never learned?" Jesus answered them and said, "My doctrine is not Mine, but His that sent Me. If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of Myself. He that speaks of himself seeks his own glory, but he that seeks His glory that sent Him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him. Did not Moses give you the Law, and yet none of you keeps the Law? Why go you about to kill Me?" (John 7:15-19)You see, God was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own and His own received Him not. (John 1:10-11) Indeed, He was the true Light which lights every man that comes into the world. He is the Alpha and Omega, beginning and end, the first and the last. (Revelation 22:13)
"For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." (II Corinthians 5:21)
His name is Jesus .. "for the Law was given by Moses but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." (John 1:17)
In fact, "it was imputed unto Him for righteousness." (Romans 4:22; Genesis 15:5-6)
In fact, "it was imputed unto Him for righteousness." (Romans 4:22; Genesis 15:5-6)
"For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse ... because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful." (Romans 1:20-21)
This explains why Paul wrote in Romans, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes ... for therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH." (Romans 1:16-17)
"Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:" (Romans 3:22)
We who seek Jesus in all that we do and think live by faith. "And be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:" (Philippians 3:9)
Therefore, glory in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ -- the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe. Let him that has ears to hear, hear. Let us with eyes to see study His Word until we understand (without question) the fullness of the Godhead dwelling in the Lord Jesus -- the risen Lord Jesus who is once again the King of kings and Lord of lords.
Stand in the offering plate.
