As Revelation 12 points out, there is only one accuser of the brethren -- called the devil and satan which attempts with his lies to deceive the whole world. And as we learn from the Garden of Eden, his lies can be subtle. Still, at the end of the day, as the scriptures clearly point out, the devil is the loser because our Lord God and Saviour Jesus the Christ is victorious in all things.
Jesus -- the King of kings and Lord of lords; Alpha and Omega; the first and the last; the beginning and the ending; the blessed and only Potentate.
It is in this context that we who believe are instructed to "keep [this] commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: which in His times He shall shew, [who is] the Blessed and Only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom [be] honour and power everlasting. Amen." (I Timothy 6:14-16)
However, as we also know, there is still an interim period between the now we live in and the end for the world. This explains why believers are instructed to put on the whole armour of God, so that we are not taken in by the devil's lies and foolishness, who in the end, is only interested in destroying us.
But the good news? Because there is always good news when we trust in the Lord Jesus by faith is that we too is that can rest assured, knowing the devil's destiny has been decided once and for all -- that he was cast into the earth, and his angels cast out with him. The devil's days of destruction are numbered, and his demise quickly coming up.
Moreover, as the scriptures state, the devil was kicked in the head when Jesus shed His precious holy blood on the cross for you and I. In fact, when the vail was torn from top to bottom, from heaven to earth, and the New Testament was ushered in, Jesus became the conqueror. And because of His love, we are now more than conquerors through Him that loved us. (Romans 8:31)
You see, God personally delivered His life redeeming plan of salvation. (Acts 20:28; I Timothy 3:16; Matthew 1:21-23; Titus 2:13) He paid the ultimate price once and for all with His precious blood on that old rugged cross so that we might have abundant everlasting life in Him.

As Jesus said, "I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by Me!" (John 14:6-12)
"After that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; that being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men." (Philippians 3:4-9)
So don't let the devil sway you with his lies. Neither carry the weight of those who want to judge our liberty by their own conscience. Rather, learn how to grow in the Lord's goodness and grace, casting all your burdens on Jesus -- who in exchange, as He states, will bring us into His rest. Why? Because when we trust in the Lord Jesus by faith, and rise up to follow Him (as did the apostles, leaving our nets behind), and are water baptized in His precious holy Name according to Acts 2:36-41, we are filled with His peace and kindness, being clothed in His righteousness.
Know too that when we do everything in the precious, holy Name of the Lord Jesus, we become stronger, aware that we who believe are on the winning side. The body of Christ overcoming the things of this world by the blood of the Lamb, and by the Word of His testimony, bearing witness in our lives. And similarly, because we have come to personally know the risen Jesus (who is both Lord and Christ) we can also abide in Him, grounded in our faith, and recognizing that He never ever fails.
"And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now is come salvation, and strength, and the Kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the Word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." (Revelation 12:9-11)
Thy Word is truth, and we are sanctified by His Word. Stand in the offering plate.
