Even the Spirit of Truth -- Ye Know Him For He Dwells With You and Shall Be In You - Part 1629

"CHRIST hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." (Galatians 3:13-14)

When one believes in Jesus by faith, and are subsequently water baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are sealed in His garment of righteousness. He fills us with His Spirit -- the Holy Ghost who leads and guides into all truth.

Jesus said, "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceeds from the Father, He shall testify of Me; and ye also shall bear witness, being ye have been with Me from the beginning." (John 15:26-27)

Who is He that overcomes the world? Jesus who is both Lord and Christ! (Acts 2:36) The Lord Himself coming forth as a mighty man (Isaiah 42:13; Isaiah 9:6) God manifest in the flesh -- in a sin prone flesh (yet without sin) as a Son. (I Timothy 3:16) His Word made flesh. (John 1:1-18)

"He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own and His own received Him not." (John 1:10-11)

"And this is the record that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son -- he that hath the Son hath life; and He that hath not the Son of God hath not life." Why? Because "these things have I written unto you that believe on the Name of the Son of God: that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the Name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us ..." (I John 5:11-15)

He came to forgive us and redeem us from our sin. (Matthew 1:21-23)

And, as a consequence of our faith in Jesus, we know that we are of God, even while the whole world lies in wickedness, "we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding that we may know Him that is true [even] in his Son Jesus Christ -- this is the true God and eternal life." (I John 5:19-20)

In Acts 3, Peter said the following about the greatest love story ever told, wherein God Himself loved us enough to shed His precious holy blood on an old wooden cross for us:

"And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, "Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified His Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied Him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go. But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; and killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

And His name through faith in His name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by Him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers. But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all His prophets, that Christ should suffer, He hath so fulfilled.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. And He shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

For Moses truly said unto the fathers, "A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; Him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever He shall say unto you." And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, "And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed." Unto you first God, having raised up His Son Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities." (Acts 3:12-26)

Hear ye Him! Jesus -- Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the ending! Jesus -- the King of kings and Lord of lords!

Hereby, know the Spirit of truth.

Stand in the offering plate.
