Redeemed by God Himself as a Son - Part 885

Up until the cross, there was none righteous -- no not one. (Romans 3:10)

The scriptures state: "there is none that understands. There is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way. They are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips; whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness; their feet are swift to shed blood. Destruction and misery are in their ways, and the way of peace have they not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes." (Romans 3:10-18)

In other words, we have all fallen short of the glory of God.

The good news is that we don't have to stay there. God prepared a way for us to experience His love -- even when there was no way. Yes, the same God who created the world and knew no sin was willing to take on a sin-prone flesh so that we might be saved.

Yes, God Himself in the form of a son willingly became our Saviour. He came to sacrifice Himself. He offered His own flesh so that we might receive His free gift of salvation. And He sacrificed His own blood, thus paying the price for our transgressions once and for all.

He, God Himself as a son conceived of the Holy Ghost (as a child) to be veiled in sinful flesh , thereby enabling the predetermined counsel of God to be manifest in the flesh. What do the scriptures state? He was in the world and the world made by Him but the world knew Him not. This same God manifest in the flesh. The same God that John states -- his own hands having handled the Word of Life.

And His name is Jesus -- the only name under heaven whereby we must be saved. Jesus, the only priestly mediator presenting Himself to the world, causing the veil of the temple to be rent in two from top to bottom. He did so for us. So that we who believe in Him can come boldly to His throne of grace.

Trust Jesus today. Diligently read His Word for your wisdom and knowledge. Stand in the offering plate.
