We Are Free From the Constraints of the Law - Part 643

There is therefore no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made you and I free from the law of sin and death. "For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh; that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit." (Romans 8:1-4) Almighty God as a Son -- shedding His precious holy spirit blood on the cross so that we might be redeemed.

Further good news for those who are new believers -- is that when we accept Jesus to be our Lord and Saviour --we become heirs of God. Joint heirs in Jesus. Victorious. Romans 8:37 states, "In all things, we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us." :In the same chapter we read "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." Indeed, Jesus takes pleasure in us. The Bible states, "For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure." (Phillippians 2:13)

Therefore, sin shall not have dominion over you - for ye are no longer under the law but under grace. (Romans 6:14) For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, [even] our faith. (I John 5:4) Further, the God of peace shall bruise satan under your feet shortly, Why? Because the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with us. (Romans 16:20) As a consequence, we can be confident in taking the shield of faith, "wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked." (Ephesians 6:16)

David wrote in Psalms 60:12, "Through God we shall do valiantly; for He shall tread down our enemies." And in Isaiah 41:10-13, "Fear thou not, for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." We no longer need to focus on the trials and tribulations that come our way. "Be still and know that I am God."

Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, "He that hears My Word, and believes on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." (John 5:24) Therefore, press into Jesus knowing that He is able to keep us from falling and to present you and I faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. (Jude 1:24)

Most of all, know that all things work together for good to them that love God -- to them who are the called according to His purpose. Be victorious. Cast all your cares and burdens upon Him for He cares for you. (I Peter 5:7) Our Lord God and Saviour -- who shed His precious holy blood on the cross for us -- shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Phillippians 4:19)

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Stand in the offering plate.
