Three Days and Three Nights Is Not Friday to Sunday -- Sigh! - Part 2321

" ... for as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth!" (Matthew 12:40)

Because the traditions of men (religious and secular) have ignored the teachings of Jesus, we are increasingly experiencing a famine in the land. Not a famine of bread or water, as Amos states, but a famine because we have not searched the scriptures for truth. One such example is the holiday referred to as Easter, which (sadly) begins with the day coined Good Friday.

But if Jesus was in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights, and He rose from the dead on the first day of the week, then He could not have shed His precious, holy blood on the cross on a Friday. Simple math confirms that there is not three days and three nights between Friday and Sunday.

Thus, we are being deceived by those who claim to know the truth, but hide it from us. It's time to set the record straight and to stop allowing the false gospel to go forward. As apostle Paul said, "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ." (Galatians 1:8-10)

Remember these words when someone tries to lead you astray from the good news gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Stand in the offering plate.
