"For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse ..." (Romans 1:20)
God's magnificence is displayed for one and all to behold, so that we would come to the knowledge and understanding of His saving grace. That we would come to know that He created all things so that we could know His love and mercy in abundance, being clothed in His righteousness. His Name in this current dispensation of grace -- JESUS -- for He shall save His people from their sins ... Emmanuel, being interpreted, God with us. (Matthew 1:21-23)
The same I AM (one of the names God used in the Old Testament) declaring that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that no man can come to the Father but by Me (Jesus). John 14:6) In this same passage, Jesus goes on to tell His disciples that if ye have seen Him, ye have seen the Father. (John 14:7-14) In so doing, Jesus is confirming His words from before -- "I and My Father are One!" (John 10:30)
It is for this reason that we are without excuse, because nothing is hidden from us -- all things visible for us to behold. As the scripture saith, "Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that brings out their host by number: He calls them all by names by the greatness of His might, for that He is strong in power; not one fails." (Isaiah 40:26)
On the New Testament side -- "and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ ..." (Ephesians 3:9)
"For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him ..." (Colossians 1:16)
Therefore, if there be any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, fulfill ye my joy, that ye like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. (Philippians 2:1-2)
Wherein this one accord? From the day of Pentecost when the New Testament body of Christ church was established. Here, the first 3,000 saints repented of their sins, and were water baptized in the precious, holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Subsequently, these were filled with the Holy Ghost, and went from house to house breaking bread and having all things common. (Acts 2:36-47)
What was the hinging point? That this same Jesus whom ye have crucified is both Lord and Christ!" (Acts 2:36)
Yes. He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own and His own received Him not." (John 1:10-11) And He came because He wanted to redeem you and I as His people. It is for this reason that we worship the Lord Jesus as King of kings and Lord of lords, Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the ending -- worthy of all the honour, and praise, and glory.
Indeed, "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created." (Revelation 4:11)
