Let Us Speak With The Power Of His Spirit ; Let Him Be Glorified For He Is Worthy Of All Praise-- Part 1885

All things were made by Him and for Him! And yet, so important was His message of salvation, extended to one and all, that He prepared for Himself a body for sacrifice. Yes, God clothed Himself in humanity so that we might have life. In Him did all the fullness of the Godhead dwell. As the promised Emmanuel, Jesus was God with us. After He was taken up, Jesus THROUGH the Holy Ghost gave commandments unto the apostles whom He had chosen. (Acts 1:2-3)

"Lo, behold, the volume of the book is written of Me!"

God in Christ. The Spirit of the One God, who indwell the man Jesus the Christ. Jesus -- the ONLY begotten Son of God. And we are to hear ye Him. We certainly see this message in John 3:16, which states: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that WHOSOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Indeed, it is by Him that all things exist that are in both heaven and earth. In fact, it is so wonderful that the Spirit of God, in revealing Himself to us brought forward to mankind truths that would have been shunned by political and religious powers in the past -- even as they are today! And this Word, Thy Word which is truth, sanctifies us.

This is why we draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Therefore, like the early disciples, let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering, for He is faithful that promised, and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works, not forsaking the assembly of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but instead exhorting one another, and so much the more, as we see the day of our Lord Jesus Christ approaching. (Hebrews 10:23-25)

But questions will emerge. Some will suggest that God is split into thirds, or persons, or is a triad and not the One and Same Spirit of God who moved upon the face of the waters in the beginning. My question to them is this. Where is there any mention of God as a plurality of persons within the scriptures?

Start with Genesis 1:1 -- "In the beginning, God ..." And this same One and Only Lord God who appeared manifest in the flesh is the same One who made all things. He is before all things! And since God is Spirit, we cannot see Spirit as Spirit, unless the Spirit is manifest. Hebrews 1 speaks of this, the Son being the visible image of this One and Only God. This is why the whole of creation is a manifestation of the wisdom and power of God who is Spirit.

For example, when a farmer sows his God-given seed, some seeds fall by the wayside. So it is with the Seed of the Word of God. The Seed is good. But to relate this analogy to humans, we see that it is the ground of a fleshy heart that is so burned up with lust and earthly things that limits our God given potential, and our hearts consequently have little or no depth! It should not come as a surprise then that under these conditions the Seed which is perfect (and has come) has a limited effect on our heart.

Even so, the Word (Seed) has been brought to us by God Himself manifest in the flesh as a Son. But sadly, at times, even the Life of God displayed in the flesh through demonstrated miracles and healings, signs and wonders could not sway individuals. Even when there has never been a man like Jesus, Emmanuel, God with us on earth.

In Him dwells all the fullness of God bodily. (Colossians 2:9)

After the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared. (Titus 3:4-7; I Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:10-11; Revelation 1:8)

For this One who visited us was and is the same One who made us. The blood in the veins of the One whereof we speak was the Life giving Blood of His Father who is none other than God Himself! The Holy Ghost having overshadowed Mary so that she could bring forth a son. (Luke 1:35)

The works confirmed that He was who He said He was. Therefore be still and know that He is God! His name shall be called JESUS, for He shall save His people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21-23) Therefore,  do not delay but come to JESUS today. Ask Jesus to become both Lord and Christ in your heart this day. Let Him be glorified for He Alone is worthy of all honour and praise. For Thine is the Kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever, amen!
