Hearken Unto Me, O Jacob and Israel, My Called; I Am He; I Am The First, I Also Am The Last - Part 1867

The Father goes forth as a mighty man. (Isaiah 42:13; Isaiah 9:6) The man Christ Jesus is that mighty man. The promised Christ. The prophesied Saviour. To wit, God in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself.

"For thou art an holy people unto THE LORD thy GOD, and THE LORD hath CHOSEN thee TO BE A PECULIAR PEOPLE UNTO HIMSELF, above all the nations that are upon the earth." (Deuteronomy 14:2)

"Looking for that blessed hope, and THE GLORIOUS APPEARING OF THE GREAT GOD AND OUR SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST; WHO GAVE HIMSELF FOR US, THAT HE MIGHT REDEEM US FROM ALL INIQUITY, and PURIFY UNTO HIMSELF A PECULIAR PEOPLE, zealous of good works." (Titus 2:12-13)

"For thy MAKER is thine HUSBAND; THE LORD OF HOSTS IS HIS NAME; AND THY REDEEMER THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL; THE GOD OF THE WHOLE EARTH SHALL HE BE CALLED. IN A LITTLE WRATH I HID MY FACE from thee for a moment; but with EVERLASTING KINDNESS WILL I HAVE MERCY on thee," SAITH THE LORD THY REDEEMER." (Isaiah 54:5, 8)

"DOUBTLESS THOU ART OUR FATHER, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: THOU, O LORD, ART OUR FATHER, OUR REDEEMER; THY NAME IS FROM EVERLASTING ..." (Isaiah 63:16)

Indeed, when we repent and are water baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are born of HIM WHO WILL APPEAR and BE SEEN BY EVERY EYE, EVEN THOSE WHO PIERCED HIM Will LOOK UPON AND SEE “HIM” and they will mourn because of HIM THAT THEY DO SEE IN THE FACE OF JESUS CHRIST! The Word made flesh and dwelt among us. (John 1:1-14) This same JESUS whom ye have crucified is both Lord and Christ. (Acts 2:36-47)

"HE CAME UNTO HIS OWN, and HIS OWN RECEIVED HIM NOT. But as many as RECEIVED HIM, to them gave HE POWERFUL TO BECOME THE SONS OF GOD, even to them THAT BELIEVE ON HIS NAME: Which WERE BORN, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, BUT OF GOD ..." (John 1:1-18)

"And now, little children, ABIDE IN HIM; that, WHEN HE SHALL APPEAR, we may have confidence, and NOT BE ASHAMED BEFORE HIM AT HIS COMING. If ye know that HE IS RIGHTEOUS, ye know that every one THAT DOETH RIGHTEOUSNESS IS BORN OF HIM." (I John 2:28-29)

"And I WILL POUR UPON the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: AND THEY SHALL LOOK UPON ME WHOM THEY HAVE PIERCED, AND THEY SHALL MOURN FOR HIM, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in BITTERNESS FOR HIM, as one that is in BITTERNESS for his firstborn." (Zechariah 12:10)

"BEHOLD, HE COMETH WITH CLOUDS; and EVERY EYE SHALL SEE HIM, AND THEY ALSO WHICH PIERCED HIM: and ALL KINDREDS OF THE EARTH SHALL WAIL BECAUSE OF HIM. "Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: AND THE GLORY OF THE LORD SHALL BE REVEALED , AND ALL FLESH SHALL SEE IT TOGETHER: FOR THE MOUTH OF THE LORD HATH SPOKEN it. O ZION, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O JERUSALEM, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah ...

"BEHOLD YOUR GOD! BEHOLD, THE LORD GOD WILL COME WITH STRONG HAND, AND HIS ARM SHALL RULE FOR HIM: BEHOLD, HIS REWARD IS WITH HIM, AND HIS WORK BEFORE HIM. HE SHALL FEED HIS FLOCK LIKE A SHEPHERD: HE SHALL GATHER THE LAMBS WITH HIS ARM, AND CARRY THEM IN HIS BOSOM, AND SHALL GENTLY LEAD THOSE THAT ARE WITH YOUNG." (Isaiah 40:4-5, 9-11)

For thus SAITH THE LORD GOD, "MY PEOPLE went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause. Now THEREFORE, WHAT HAVE I HERE, SAITH THE LORD, THAT MY PEOPLE is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl," SAITH THE LORD; AND MY NAME continually every day is BLASPHEMED. THEREFORE MY PEOPLE SHALL KNOW MY NAME: THEREFORE THEY SHALL KNOW IN THAT DAY THAT I AM HE THAT DOTH SPEAK: BEHOLD IT IS I. How beautiful upon the mountains ARE THE FEET OF HIM that BRINGETH GOOD TIDINGS, that PUBLISHETH PEACE; that BRINGETH GOOD TIDINGS of GOOD, that PUBLISHETH SALVATION; THAT SAITH UNTO ZION, THY GOD REIGNETH! ~ (HE that Speaks)

Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, WHEN THE LORD SHALL BRING AGAIN ZION. Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: FOR THE LORD HATH COMFORTED HIS PEOPLE, HE HATH REDEEMED JERUSALEM. The LORD hath made bare HIS HOLY ARM in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall SEE THE SALVATION OF OUR GOD. Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of THE LORD. For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: FOR THE LORD WILL GO BEFORE YOU; AND THE GOD OF ISRAEL WILL BE YOUR REREWARD." (Isaiah 52:4-12)

JESUS said, "AND, BEHOLD, I COME QUICKLY; AND MY REWARD IS WITH ME, TO GIVE every man according as his work shall be. I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE BEGINNING AND THE END, THE FIRST AND THE LAST." (Revelation 22:12-13)

"The LORD SHALL GO FORTH AS A MIGHTY MAN, HE SHALL stir up jealousy like a man of war: HE SHALL CRY, YEA, ROAR; HE SHALL PREVAIL AGAINST HIS ENEMIES. I HAVE long time holden MY PEACE; I HAVE been still, and refrained MYSELF: NOW WILL I CRY like a travailing woman; I WILL DESTROY AND DEVOUR AT ONCE." (Isaiah 42:13-14)

"FOR, BEHOLD, THE LORD WILL COME WITH FIRE, and WITH HIS CHARIOTS LIKE A WHIRLWIND, TO RENDER HIS ANGER WITH FURY, AND HIS REBUKE WITH FLAMES OF FIRE. FOR BY FIRE AND BY HIS SWORD WILL THE LORD PLEAD WITH ALL FLESH: AND THE SLAIN OF THE LORD SHALL BE MANY. They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, SHALL BE CONSUMED TOGETHER, SAITH THE LORD. FOR I KNOW THEIR WORKS AND THEIR THOUGHTS: IT SHALL COME, THAT I WILL GATHER ALL NATIONS AND TONGUES; AND THEY SHALL COME, AND SEE MY GLORY ..." (Isaiah 66:15-18)

"Then SHALL THE LORD GO FORTH, AND FIGHT AGAINST THOSE NATIONS, as when HE fought in the day of battle. And HIS FEET SHALL STAND IN THAT DAY UPON THE MOUNT OF OLIVES, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: AND THE LORD MY GOD SHALL COME, AND ALL THE SAINTS WITH thee. And it shall come to pass IN THAT DAY, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:

But IT SHALL BE ONE DAY which shall be KNOWN TO THE LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. And IT SHALL BE IN THAT DAY, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. And THE LORD SHALL BE KING OVER ALL THE EARTH: IN THAT DAY SHALL THERE BE ONE LORD, AND HIS NAME ONE." (Zechariah 14:3-9)

"GOD that made the world and all things therein, seeing THAT HE IS LORD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though HE NEEDED ANY THING, SEEING HE GIVETH TO ALL LIFE, AND BREATH, and ALL THINGS; And hath MADE of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; that they SHOULD SEEK THE LORD, IF HAPPY they MIGHT FEEL AFTER HIM, and FIND HIM, THOUGH HE BE NOT FAR FROM EVERY ONE OF US: For IN HIM WE LIVE, AND MOVE, and have OUR BEING; as certain also of your own poets have said, FOR WE ARE ALSO HIS OFFSPRING.

Forasmuch then as we are THE OFFSPRING OF GOD, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. And the times of this IGNORANCE GOD WINKED AT; but now COMMANDETH ALL MEN EVERY WHERE TO REPENT ... Because HE HATH APPOINTED A DAY, IN THE WHICH HE WILL JUDGE THE WORLD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS BY THAT MAN WHOM HE HATH ORDAINED; WHEREOF HE HATH GIVEN ASSURANCE UNTO all men, in THAT HE HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD." (Acts 17:24-31)

"When the Son of man SHALL COME IN HIS GLORY, and ALL the holy angels WITH HIM, then shall HE SIT UPON THE THRONE OF HIS GLORY: And BEFORE HIM SHALL BE GATHERED ALL NATIONS: and HE SHALL SEPARATE THEM ONE FROM ANOTHER, AS A SHEPHERD DIVIDETH HIS SHEEP FROM THE GOATS: And HE SHALL SET THE SHEEP ON HIS RIGHT HAND, BUT THE GOATS ON THE LEFT. Then SHALL THE KING SAY UNTO THEM ON HIS RIGHT HAND, COME, YE BLESSED OF MY FATHER, INHERIT THE KINGDOM PREPARED for YOU FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD." (Matthew 25:31-34)

"For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I WILL MAKE, shall remain BEFORE ME, SAITH THE LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, SHALL ALL FLESH COME TO WORSHIP BEFORE ME, SAITH THE LORD. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have TRANSGRESSED AGAINST ME: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh."  (Isaiah 66:22-25)

"For since by man came death, BY MAN CAME ALSO THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD. For as in Adam all die, even so IN CHRIST SHALL ALL BE MADE ALIVE. But EVERY MAN in his own order: CHRIST THE FIRSTFRUITS; AFTERWARD THEY THAT ARE CHRIST’S AT HIS COMING. THEN COMETH THE END, WHEN HE SHALL HAVE DELIVERED UP THE KINGDOM TO GOD, EVEN THE FATHER; WHEN HE SHALL HAVE PUT DOWN ALL RULE AND ALL AUTHORITY AND POWER. FOR HE MUST REIGN, TILL HE HATH PUT ALL ENEMIES UNDER HIS FEET. THE LAST ENEMY THAT SHALL BE DESTROYED IS DEATH.

FOR HE HATH PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET. BUT WHEN HE SAITH ALL THINGS ARE PUT UNDER HIM, IT IS MANIFEST THAT HE IS EXCEPTED, WHICH DID PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIM. AND WHEN ALL THINGS SHALL BE SUBDUED UNTO HIM, THEN SHALL THE SON ALSO HIMSELF BE SUBJECT UNTO HIM THAT PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIM, THAT GOD MAY BE ALL IN ALL.

The first man is of the earth, earthy: THE SECOND MAN IS THE LORD FROM HEAVEN. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and AS IS THE HEAVENLY, SUCH ARE THEY ALSO THAT ARE HEAVENLY. And as we HAVE BORNE THE IMAGE of the earthy, WE SHALL ALSO BEAR THE IMAGE OF THE HEAVENLY." (I Corinthians 15:21-28, 47-49)

"HE THAT COMETH FROM ABOVE IS ABOVE ALL: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: HE THAT COMETH FROM HEAVEN IS ABOVE ALL." (John 3:31)

"I JESUS HAVE SENT MINE ANGEL TO TESTIFY UNTO YOU THESE THINGS IN THE CHURCHES. I AM THE ROOT AND THE OFFSPRING OF DAVID, AND THE BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR. And THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE SAY, COME. And let him that heareth say, COME. And let him that is athirst COME. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
HE WHICH TESTIFIETH THESE THINGS SAITH, SURELY I COME QUICKLY. Amen. Even SO, COME, LORD JESUS. I THE LORD AM HE; I AM JESUS!" (Revelation 22:16-17, 20)

"WHO HATH WROUGHT and DONE IT, CALLING the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the FIRST, and WITH the LAST; I AM HE." (Isaiah 41:4)

"HEARKEN UNTO ME, O Jacob and Israel, MY CALLED; I AM HE; I AM THE FIRST, I ALSO AM THE LAST." (Isaiah 48:12)

As Jesus so clearly stated, "I AND (My) FATHER ARE ONE!" (John 10:30)
