For We Are His Workmanship Created In Christ Jesus Unto Good Works - Part 1112

“For He hath made Him (Christ) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” (II Corinthians 5:21)

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him: and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all." (Isaiah 53:5-6)

“But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus -- that in the ages to come, He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in [His] kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:4-6)

"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." (I Timothy 3:16)

And now because of the precious blood shed on the cross, we who believe in Jesus by faith and follow His commandments, remaining steadfast in the apostle's doctrine -- are now clothed in His righteousness. Our sins have become His when we give our lives over to Jesus and His righteousness become ours. No greater love.

"In whom we have redemption through His blood, [even] the forgiveness of sin -- who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature." (Colossians 1:14-15)

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God hath ordained that we should walk in them. Wherefore remember that [ye being] in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called uncircumcision by that which is called the circumcision in the flesh made by hands that at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world ... but now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ -- for He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition [between us] having abolished in His flesh the emnity [even] the law of commandments [contained] in ordinances for to make in Himself of twain one new man, so making peace ... and that He might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby, and came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh -- for through Him we both have access by ONE SPIRIT UNTO THE FATHER." (Ephesians 2:10-18)

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God also confirmed this same message in his epistle to the Colossians:

"For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the Word of the truth of the gospel, which is come unto you, as [it is] in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as [it doth] also in you, since the day ye heard [of it] and knew the grace of God in truth." (Colossians 1:1-6)

"For this cause we also, since the day we heard [it] do not cease to pray for you and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God -- strengthened with all might according to His glorious power unto all patience and long suffering with joyfulness, giving thanks unto the Father which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light -- who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of His dear Son  -- in whom we have redemption through His blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins -- who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature -- for by Him were all things created that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers -- ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM AND FOR HIM AND HE IS BEFORE ALL THINGS AND BY HIM ALL THINGS CONSIST" (Colossians 1:9-17)

Yes the same God who created the world was in the world and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own and His own received Him not BUT as many as received Him gave He power to become the sons of God -- to them that believe on His name. (John 1:1-18)

Don't be tossed to and fro with the doctrines and traditions of men. Stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1) Let him who hath ears to hear, hear. Stand in the offering plate with Jesus -- our King of kings and Lord of lords, the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
