For This Is My Covenant Unto Them When I Shall Take Away Their Sins.- Part 1860

"But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days," saith the LORD, "I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My people." (Jeremiah 31:20, 33)

"Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart, and such trust have we through Christ to Godward; not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; who hath made us able ..." (II Corinthians 3:1-6)

In its entirety, II Corinthians 3 is worth reading so that we can understand the glory that comes with the new testament. And that for this cause, He is the mediator of the New Testament, that by means of redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead; otherwise, it is of no strength at all while the testator lives. Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood ..." (Hebrews 9:15-18)

Therefore, Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures [copies] of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: nor yet that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy place every year with blood of others -- for then must He often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment, so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto the that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation. (Hebrews 9:24-28)

Therefore, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who THROUGH THE ETERNAL SPIRIT OFFERED HIMSELF WITHOUT SPOT TO GOD, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Remember, the Holy Ghost this signifying that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest while as the first tabernacle was yet standing.

Yes, God Himself tore the vail that kept us from Him, and did so from top to bottom, heaven to earth. He paid the price for our sins once and for all, but we need to respond to His invitation to come unto Him and worship Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, In everything we do, in both word or deed, do all in the precious holy Name of the Lord Jesus -- the Christ.

In this current dispensation of grace, we can receive the promise that was held in the bosom of the Father from the very beginning of the world. Thus, look unto Jesus who is the Author and Finisher of our faith; who of the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is sent down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. (Hebrews 11:39-40; Hebrews 12:1-3; Colossians 3:8; I Corinthians 9:24; Romans 12:12; Luke 24:26; Psalm 69:7, 19; Philippians 2:8; Psalm 110:1; Matthew 10:24, 30; Galatians 6:9; I Timothy 3:16)

For He is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the ending. (Revelation 1:8)
