Every One That Is Called By My Name: For I Have Created Him For My Glory, I Have Formed Him; Yea, I Have Made Him! - Part 1588

" But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raises the dead; who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver; in whom we trust that He will yet deliver [us]; ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.

For our rejoicing is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge: even to the end  ... and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end." (II Corinthians 1:9-15)

As believers in Jesus by faith, we understand that JESUS is the Rock -- the One and Only foundation for our beliefs.

The Author and Finisher of our faith.
The first and the last.
The beginning and the ending.
Jesus -- the chief corner stone.
The Bread of life.
The Light of the world.

And, as we recognize from the day of Pentecost, wheewun Peter (standing with the eleven) established the apostolic doctrine, there is no other foundation than in the Name of Jesus. (Acts 2:38-47) Why? Because as the first 3,000 souls saved knew, Jesus is  BOTH Lord and Christ. (Acts 2:36)

What do we learn from this understanding? That God's plan of salvation was not man-made. It was God-made and personally delivered by He who knew no sin. He became the perfect sacrifice for you and I. God became flesh and dwelt among us, so that we might receive His free gift of salvation (John 1:1-18)

This is why Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes unto the Father but by Me." (John 14:6)

He personally delivered to us our own get out of jail card, and paid the price with His precious blood on the cross at Calvary. This is why we glory in the Lord, for He alone is our hope -- every one that is called by "My Name" -- the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

His purpose?

"To make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: to the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God ...." (Ephesians 3:9-10)

"Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." (Titus 2:14)

"For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, [are] all things: to whom [be] glory for ever. Amen." (Romans 11:36)

Thus, we have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God, which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. (I Corinthians 2:12-13)

Therefore, abundant praise unto His precious Name! The Name of the Lord Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21-23)
