For Thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined. And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of His people shall He take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. And it shall be said in that day, "Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation." (Isaiah 9:1-9)
"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call Him Immanuel." (Isaiah 7:14)
"For as much as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the Word; it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus, that thou might know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed." (Luke 1:-4)
"Behold the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world. This is He whom I said, "After me comes a man which is preferred before me, for He was before me. And I knew Him not, but that He should be made manifest to Israel -- therefore, am I come baptizing with water." (John 1:29-30)
His name is Jesus -- God Almighty Himself manifest in the flesh, shedding His precious blood on a cross so that we might know Him personally, and experience abundant life in Him. If you have not already, ask Jesus to become Lord in your life. Seek His wonderful face through the Word, and in continuous prayer, rejoicing evermore in His goodness and grace. And after repenting, be water baptized in the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ so that you can be fully clothed in His garment of righteousness. (Acts 2:36-38; Romans 6:1-4) The Holy Ghost -- our Comforter who will lead and guide us into all truth.
May the Lord Jesus richly bless you! Stand in the offering plate!
