THROUGH Jesus Christ because He is both our Lord and Saviour.
"But grow in grace, and [in] the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him [be] glory both now and for ever. Amen." (II Peter 3:18)
THROUGH Jesus Christ because He is both Lord and Christ.
"Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ." (Acts 2:36)
THROUGH Jesus Christ because He is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending," saith the Lord, "which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." (Revelation 1:8; Revelation 22:13-21)
THROUGH Jesus Christ because He and the Father are one.
Jesus said, "I and my Father are one." Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. Jesus answered them, "Many good works have I shewed you from My Father; for which of those works do ye stone Me?" The Jews answered Him, saying, "For a good work we stone Thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that Thou, being a man, makest Thyself God." (John 10:30-33)
THROUGH Jesus Christ because He is our Rock and Salvation.
THROUGH Jesus Christ because He has made us free from the law of sin and death ... that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us. (Romans 8:1-4)
THROUGH Jesus Christ for He who knew no sin sanctified and cleansed us with the washing of water by the Word -- and by His own blood, "that He might present to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish." (Ephesians 5:26-27; Hebrews 13:12)
THROUGH Jesus Christ "for it became Him for whom [are] all things, and by whom [are] all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings, for both He that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified [are] all of one; for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brethren." (Hebrews 2:10-11)
THROUGH Jesus Christ for He is the Head of the Church, the Chief Cornerstone, the Rock of Ages. (Colossians 1:18; I Corinthians 11:3; Ephesians 5:23; Matthew 16:13-20)
"For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." (I Corinthians 3:11)
When we repent and are water baptized in the name of Jesus, we receive His cloak of righteousness. The Comforter -- the Holy Ghost -- the Spirit of truth of which Jesus said to His disciples, "I will not leave you comfortless. I will come to you." (John 14:5-21; Acts 2:37-42)
This is why Jesus told His disciples, "If ye had known Me, ye should have known My Father also, and from henceforth ye know Him and have seen Him." (John 14:7)
As well, Jesus said, "These things have I spoken unto you, being [yet] present with you. But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." (John 14:26)
And then in the same teaching just before the cross, Jesus said, "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He shall testify of Me, and ye also shall bear witness because ye have been with Me from the beginning." (John 15:26)
THROUGH Jesus Christ because if we believe that Jesus is the Christ -- God Almighty clothed in a sin-prone flesh body, we might have life through His name. (John 1:1-18; John 20:31; I Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6)
"And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement." (Romans 5:11)
Yes, through Jesus the Christ because He who knew no sin became sin for us. He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own but His own received Him not. (John 1:1-18)
This is why "we then as workers together [with Him] beseech you also that ye received not the grace of God in vain (For He saith, "I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee; behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation). Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed, but in all [things] approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; by pureness, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, by the Word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, by honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report, as deceivers and yet true; as unknown and yet well known; as dying and behold, we live; as chastened and not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things." (II Corinthians 6:1-13)
Take hold of Jesus' truths today. And therefore, being justified by faith, know that we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ -- by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God ... for when we were yet without strength, in due time, Christ died for the ungodly." (Romans 5:1-21)
Don't be like those of which the prophet Isaiah writes: "That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children [that] will not hear the law of the Lord, which say to the seers -- "See not" -- and to the prophets -- "Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits" .... because you despise this Word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon." (Isaiah 30:9-11)
Rather, "let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord, and whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do ALL in the Name of the LORD JESUS, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him" (Colossians 3:15-17)
Let him who hath ears to hear, hear. Stand in the offering plate.
