By Whom We Have Received Grace and Apostleship For His Name - Part 1064

"Not to Him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel AND the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, but now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith; to God only wise, [be] glory through Jesus Christ for ever, amen." (Romans 16:25-27)

Sadly, for many in religious circles, the mystery of the Godhead is just that -- still a mystery. But like any mystery, the answer can be found by searching the source material. In this case, the revelation of the mystery -- "which was kept secret since the world began" is now made manifest. Thus, we can find the answer by searching the scriptures of the prophets (according to the commandment of the everlasting God -- the author speaking His Word through the prophets) in conjunction with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Apostle Paul explains it this way: "Having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure, which He hath purposed in Himself ... that in the dispensation of the fullness of times, He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth, [even] in Him; in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being pre-destinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will -- that we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted in Christ, in whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the Word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom ye also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise -- which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession unto the praise of His glory, wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and love unto all the saints." (Ephesians 1:9-15)

And again, "For this cause, I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles. If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: how that by revelation He made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ by the gospel: whereof I was made a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of His power. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.

And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ; to the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

According to the eternal purpose which He purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of Him. Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.(Ephesians 3:1-21)

And then again over in Colossians: "[Even] the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints; to whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory' whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus." (Colossians 1:26)

And in Timothy: "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." (I Timothy 3:16)

And Jude as well: "To the only wise God our Saviour, [be] glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." (Jude 1:25)

Thank you Jesus for your goodness and grace, and for revealing the mystery that was hidden in the bosom of the Father from the beginning of the world. Yes, God became flesh and dwelt among us. (John 1:1-18) "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.: (Matthew 1:26)

The mystery now? God now lives within. Stand in the offering plate.
