Jesus Said, "I Am Come In My Father's Name" - His Name Is JESUS For He Shall Save His People From Their Sins - Part 2568

"I will praise the LORD according to His righteousness: and will sing praise to the Name of the LORD most high." (Psalm 7:17)

"Who shall not fear Thee, O Lord, and glorify Thy name? For Thou only art holy; for all nations shall come and worship before Thee, for Thy judgments are made manifest." (Revelation 15:4)

"My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour for He has looked on the humble estate of His servant." (Luke 1:47-48)

Then Peter said unto them, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38)

"And now why tarriest thou? Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord." (Acts 22:16)

"For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ." (Galatians 3:27)

"And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord." (Acts 10:48)

Jesus said, "I am come in My Father's name, and ye receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive." (John 5:43)

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God ... and the Word became flesh." (John 1:1-14)In the Name of Jesus, we shall have the victory!

David the psalmist wrote, "O sing unto the Lord a new song; for He hath done marvellous things: His right hand, and His holy arm, hath gotten Him the victory." (Psalm 98:1) It is for this reason that thanks be to God, "...which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (I Corinthians 15:57)

Why? Because, as Isaiah prophesied, "He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of His people shall He take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it." (Isaiah 25:8)

How do we know? Because the scriptures walk us through the greatest love story ever told, when God Himself willingly took on the form of flesh (yet without sin!) so that we might have abundant and everlasting life in Him. (I Timothy 3:16)

"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21)

"For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily." (Colossians 2:9)

"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name ..." (Philippians 2:9-11)

"Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?" (I Corinthians 1:13-15)

"To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believes in Him shall receive remission of sins." (Acts 10:43)

"For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus." (Acts 8:16)

"But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women." (Acts 8:12)

Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by Me." (John 14:6)
