"Who being the brightness of [His] glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on hand ..." (Hebrews 1:3)
And this Word, "Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain." Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear - for our God is a consuming fire." (Hebrews 12:25-29)
Thus, seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us ... looking unto Jesus -- the Author and Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. (Hebrews 12:1-3)
He who shed His own precious, holy blood so that we might have everlasting life in Him. (Acts 20:28)
Wherefore, even in the midst of persecution and tribulation, lift up the hands which hang down and the feeble knees; and make straight paths for your feet (lest that which is lame be turned out of the way) ... but let it rather be healed.
And from another place, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all [men], especially unto them who are of the household of faith." (Galatians 6:9-10)
Stand in the offering plate.
