So That They Which Are Called Might Receive The Promise Of Eternal Inheritance - Part 2431

"And for this cause He is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth." (Hebrews 9:15-18)

There was a quote that went like this -- "Redemption is God’s recycle bin." Well, technically it is not. Redemption is not a recycling bin. Why? Because the Adamic race cannot be recycled. In fact, that is part of the issue. More often than not, the formal institutionalized religious culture is endeavouring to impinge its viewpoint upon the human race without aligning with scripture.

One such example is grace versus good works. While good works in itself is honourable, it retains no inward spiritual significance in terms of salvation. Good works definitely cannot replace a heart that is deceitful and wicked! As the scriptures clearly state, "You must be born again." That means -- every single individual must make their own personal decision to be born again. Indeed, all of Adam's sinful race must die to the world. No-one is exempt if we desire to inherit eternal life.

It is for this reason that worshipping God is critically important. But it is equally important that believers know "who" it is that they are worshipping. JESUS, who is the ONE TRUE GOD came forth from the bosom, which is the innermost being of the unseen eternal Spirit of the Almighty. He came with one purpose and that purpose was to seek and to save you and I - who are of Adam's offspring.

Unfortunately, religious ideology and sacraments (in whatever form it project) gets in the way of people being set free. Jesus said, "I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by Me." (John 14:6)

But as we also know, the modern day religious culture has gotten in the way of the Christian faith. In fact, religion in many cases has put itself in the place of the mediator -- which according to scripture is "the man Christ Jesus."

Within the scriptures also, we see the so-called church fathers have imposed their 'Simon the sorcery" religion, and in so doing, endeavoured to retard and alter that which the Lord God Himself had delivered. To set us free from the bondage; to heal the broken-hearted; to fill us with His abundant peace and joy which surpasses all human understanding.

And in so doing, the Lord emphatically upholds the apostolic scriptural truth, establishing scriptural authenticity by laying down His own natural life. God established that His work concerning man’s redemption is forever complete. As the scriptures note, the Lord, upon completion of this redemption mission ascended into Heaven and SAT down.

The Lord commenced a further work by confirming the Word that He had delivered! The Lord delivered His Word directly to chosen individuals, and it this Word now spoken by those chosen individuals that He confirms with signs and wonders. As a consequence, the Word disqualifies alternative presentations such as the ideology put forward by the Roman church fathers who desired their own man-made institutional church. Apostle Paul was quick to say that if any man preach another gospel then he is to be accursed.

Thankfully, we don't need to be in religious or worldly bondage because the Lord Jesus has set us free. The Christian church established by the Holy Ghost outpouring, as recorded in Acts 2. This outpouring of the Spirit fulfilled the afore prophetic utterance - that the Word of the Lord would go forth from Jerusalem.

There the Lord added to His church - the body of Christ believing Church. And He still ministers to His believing body of Christ church today.

The difference is that now, when someone boldly states that they are Catholic, we do not need to fret. They have chosen to follow the Roman church fathers in preference to the confirmed Word of the Lord. Fortunately, we are not obligated to make the same choice. Instead, as the scriptures state, "Let God be true and every man a liar."

There is definitely more to come on this subject. Stand in the offering plate.
