Now The Lord Is That Spirit; And Where The Spirit Of The Lord Is There Is Liberty - Part 2400

“For our gospel came not unto you in Word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake. And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the Word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost ..” (I Thessalonians 1:5-6)

There is so much to understand when it comes to the good news gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. To begin, the salvation message is the greatest story ever told -- wherein the Lord God who created the world in the beginning loved His people enough to become as one of us -- so that He could bring us abundant life in Him.

That is, He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own and His own received Him not. (John 1:10-11) The Word made flesh and dwelt among us so that we could behold His glory -- as the only begotten of the Father. Did you catch that? Jesus was the ONLY begotten of the Father -- the visible image of the invisible God -- and as the only begotten -- He delivered the one and only salvation plan, the plan that was decided before the world was formed.

God manifest in the flesh. (I Timothy 3:16) To wit, God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. (II Corinthians 5:19)

His Name JESUS, for He shall save His people from their sins. The One and Only who willingly shed His precious blood so that you and I might have abundant life in Him. God our Saviour.

“ … not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.” (Titus 3:5)

Today is the day of salvation. Today is the day that Jesus -- both Lord and Christ -- is calling you into His fold. Take hold of His truth according to Acts 2:36-41 this day.
