Lose Not Those Things Which We Have Wrought But That We Receive A Full Reward, Knowing Fully The Doctrine That Was Declared From The Very Beginning - Part 2208

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (Romans 12:2)

Many representatives of the modern day religious culture say they love God -- but how could they? For if this were true love on their part, then they would not go about delivering deceptive messages that are not contained in the Word, nor involve themselves in creeds, etc., that are clearly contrary to Biblical scriptures.

"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition ..." (II Thessalonians 2:3)

In fact, Jesus told us that in the last days -- "there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect." (Matthew 24:24)

"And this is love, that we walk after His commandments. This is the commandment, "That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it." For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever transgresses, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son." (II John 1:6-9)

What was the commandment that we have heard from the beginning? "Hear O Israel, the Lord thy God is One Lord!" (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29-31)

 Still, if they willingly continue on that well worn path of altering God's Word, then by so doing they are doing their fathers' business - their father being the devil. For the devil was a liar from the very beginning. Recall the words of the serpent in the Garden - "Has God said ...?"

But we know different. This is why we can let the Love of God rule and reign in your heart, for the entrance of God’s Word dispels the satanic clouds of misrepresentation.

For those of you who are still searching to know the God who created you, why not ask the Lord Jesus into your life this day. Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me." (Revelation 3:20)

Jesus -- the Great Shepherd. The Great I AM, who is and was and is to come -- "looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:2)
