The Second Man Is The Lord From Heaven - Part 1650

"Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of His dear Son in whom we have redemption through His blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins -- who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: for by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him and for Him, and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist -- and He is the Head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] He might have the preeminence.

For it pleased [the Father] that in Him should all fullness dwell; and, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself, by Him [I say] whether [they be] things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies [in your] mind by wicked works, yet now hath He reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight -- if ye continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven ..." (Colossians 1:12-23)

He hath reconciled in the body of His flesh through death so that we can be presented holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight. The greatest love story ever told to mankind so that our life can be hid with Christ in God, rooted and built up in Him and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounded therein with thanksgiving. (Colossians 2:7; 3:3)

Because we have been risen with Christ as a consequence of His free gift of salvation, we need to also pray that the Lord of the harvest would send forth labourers into His harvest fields. To go out into the highways, and byways, and the hedges for those whose souls are starving.  Why? Because the harvest truly is plenteous but the labourers are few.

Indeed, there are multitudes of people who need to hear the good news gospel of Jesus.  Multitudes in the valley of decision. The question is this. How can they hear the gospel of Jesus without a preacher or preach this gospel except they be sent? This is why the scriptures state, "How beautiful are the feet of them who preach the gospel of peace."

“We have heard the Macedonian call today -- send the light, send the light, there are souls to rescue, there are souls to save, send the light, send the light, the blessed gospel light and let it shine from shore, and let the glorious beam light the world for evermore."

Too many people need to understand the saving knowledge of our great God and only Saviour Jesus, and more now than ever -- in these last days -- the time is upon us wherein we need to preach the Bread of Life -- Jesus -- to the many who are lost.

It is within this context that we must pray and ask God to raise up and send labourers into His harvest field. Our world is full of people who unfortunately have never heard the glad tiding of great joy. Say these words if you are a believer -- ‘Lord here I am, send me."

Put in the sickle and reap and PREACH THE WORD that the second man is the Lord from Heaven. And in so doing, may the fire of the gospel light the heather again. Stand in the offering plate.
