Therefore, If Any Man Be In Christ, He Is A New Creature, Old Things Are Passed Away; Behold, All Things Are Become New - Part 1396

"Until the day in which He was taken up, after that He through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom He had chosen, to whom also He shewed Himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God." (Acts 1:2-3)

Jesus said to the Apostles that they were to be His witnesses - here, there and everywhere - even to the uttermost parts of the earth. To this end, the early believers went everywhere preaching Jesus. They told people about Jesus. That Jesus is Lord of all. That His kingdom has no end. And that, at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus, the Christ is Lord. Indeed, let all the angels of God worship Him.

Unto the Son it is said, "Your throne of God is forever and ever, a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of your kingdom." This is why we are given the first commandment -- hear, O Israel, the Lord thy God is ONE Lord. And you shall worship the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength. Him only shall you serve.

Why? Because as the Lord Himself stated, "My glory, I will not give to you another." God has glorified His only begotten son Jesus. He is the brightness of God’s glory. He is also the express image of God as a person. God declaring that Jesus, who had been crucified is both Lord and Christ. (Acts 2:36) Jesus, the unseen God now seen. (Hebrews 1:3) He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. (John 1:10)

Jesus appointed His Apostles to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth. Indeed, they were. In fact, they are still His witnesses. Although the apostles are surely dead physically, the words of the gospel that they penned continues to be the one seller. God's gospel of salvation. At the time of writing, they were, as the scriptures state, “unlearned and ignorant men."

But because of the knowledge and wisdom bestowed upon them from the Lord, there came a point when even their opponents perceived that these men must have been with Jesus." These truths written with the pen of men but with the holy Spirit of Jesus being the phantom authoritative author. The Holy Ghost. Jesus leading and guiding man into truths hidden in the bosom of the Father from the beginning of time, now being passed down through the ages. God Himself setting in place the capping stone on the pyramid. The stone that the builders rejected has become the Head of the corner.

The cross road of man is Jesus lifted up.

Jesus instructed His flock of believers that they should preach in His name. That is to preach repentance and remission of sin, and water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:36-38; I Peter 3:21) This world mission commenced at Jerusalem on a day called Pentecost when the fire from heaven fell upon three thousand souls. "And ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38)

The beginning of the new testament church has begun. The apostles' doctrine has been established. (Acts 2:36-47) And what we know is that the Word of God is not coming out from us. The Word is coming to us, and the Spirit and the Word must agree. Therefore, as apostle Paul said, if any man considers himself to be a prophet or a spiritual, let him acknowledge first that the things that I write unto you are the commands of the Lord. And yes, this saith Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles.

Let him or her with an ear to hear, hear. Stand in the Offering Plate.
