Casting All Your Care Upon Him -- Our Lord God And Saviour Jesus the Christ -- For He Careth For You. - Part 1779

"The Lord is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation: He is my God and I will prepare Him an habitation, my Father's God, and I will exalt Him ... the Lord is His Name." (Exodus 15:2-3)

Jesus replies unto them, "My doctrine is not Mine, but Him that sent Me. If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or [whether] I speak of Myself ... he that speaks of himself seeks his own glory; but He that seeks His glory that sent Him the same is true and no unrighteousness is in Him. Did not Moses give you the Law, and yet none of you keeps the Law? Why go ye about to kill Me?" (John 7:14-19)

Jesus had opened the book and read the scripture which was in front of Him. And, although the Jews may not have recognized it at this time, Jesus was speaking the Word from Deuteronomy (found in the old testament) wherein God had earlier said unto His people:

"Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak, and hear, O earth, the words of My mouth. My doctrine shall drop as the rain, My speech shall distill as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: because I will publish the Name of the Lord, ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He. They have corrupted themselves. Their spot is not the spot of His children. They are a perverse and crooked generation. Do ye thus requite the Lord, O foolish people and unwise? Is not He Thy Father that hath bought thee? Hath He not made thee, and established thee?

Remember, the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy Father and He will show thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee. When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. For the Lord's portion is His people; Jacob is the lot of His inheritance." (Deuteronomy 32:1-9)

You see, the Lord always had a message for His people. And, in the same manner, throughout the old and into the new testament, He continually declared His Name among the brethren. "Ye that fear the Lord, praise Him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify Him; and fear Him, all ye the seed of Israel." (Psalm 22:22-23; Hebrews 2:12; Romans 8:29; Psalm 135:19-20)

In fact, we are to praise the Lord continually, and rejoice evermore, "prais[ing] ye the Name of the Lord. Praise [Him] O ye servants of the Lord. Ye that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God. Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises unto His Name, for it is pleasant. For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto Himself and Israel for a peculiar treasure. For I know that the Lord is great, and [that] our Lord is above all gods. Whatsoever the Lord pleased, [that] did He in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places. He causes the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightenings for the rain. He brings the wind out of His treasuries ... O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good: for His mercy endures for ever.

Moreover, we are to give thanks unto the God of gods: for His mercy endures for ever. We are to give thanks to the Lord of lords, for His mercy endures forever.
To Him who alone does great wonders, for His mercy endures forever.
To Him that by wisdom made the heavens: for His mercy endures forever.
To Him that stretched out the earth above the waters; for His mercy endures forever.
To Him that made great lights, for His mercy endures forever; the sun to rule by day; for His mercy endures for ever. The moon and stars to rule by night: for His mercy endures for ever. (Psalm 134:1-21; Psalm 136:1-26)

Indeed, we as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are to pray without ceasing, and rejoice evermore. He is our refuge and strength. And as Jesus said, when He walked on this earth, "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." (John 14:18) Over 2,000 scriptures were written, establishing that the Lord our God, our Saviour, would never leave us nor forsake us. That He would carry us and cuddle us, in times of turbulence and tribulation. Our response is to allow the Lord to work in our hearts, continually focused on Him, pressing into the mark of our high calling in Christ Jesus. He is the Author and Finisher of our salvation. God manifest in the flesh, so that we can look for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus the Christ. (Titus 2:13; I Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; I Corinthians 3:11; Colossians 2:9; Revelation 1:8, 11; Acts 2:36-38 )

Following is a sample of scripture to help us carry the day, and thus, help us to move forward as fools for Christ's sake, knowing that in Christ we are wise, and strong, and honourable, even when the world despises us. Stay strong in the Lord, who purchased us with His own blood, and don't allow anyone (with their religious traditions of men) sway you from the truth which can only be found in Christ Jesus, who clearly said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by Me!" (John 14:6-12; Acts 20:28; I Peter 5:2; I Corinthians 12:28; Ephesians 1:7,14; Hebrews 9:14)

Therefore, "be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, He [it is] that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee ... And the LORD, He [it is] that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed." (Deuteronomy 31:6-8)

"Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved." (Psalms 55:22)

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." (Philippians 4:6-7)

"[Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." So that we may boldly say, "The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me." (Hebrews 13:5-6)

"Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10-13)

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (II Timothy 1:7)

Jesus said, "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I  [Jesus] am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen." (Matthew 28:20)

Therefore, "let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16)

Why? Because "we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [His] purpose." (Romans 8:28)
