Let Them Also That Love Thy Name Be Joyful In Thee - Part 2224

"But let all those that put their trust in Thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because Thou defends them: let them also that love Thy Name be joyful in Thee." (Psalm 5:11)

"O love the Lord, all ye His saints: for the Lord preserves the faithful, and plentifully rewards the proud doer." (Psalm 31:23)

"Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, "Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, [be] unto Him that sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever." (Revelation 5:12-14)

Stand in awe of His Majesty -- the King of kings and Lord of lords, Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the ending ... our Heavenly Father, Jesus, who willingly shed His precious holy blood on a cross so that we might be redeemed from condemnation. Indeed, He took the bondage away, and instead, filled us with His joy and peace and love that He freely gives without measure to those who love Him.

Meditate on these things this day.

But With The Precious Blood Of Christ, As Of A Lamb Without Blemish And Without Spot - Part 2223

"These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. These were redeemed from among men, [being] the first fruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile, for they are without fault before the throne of God." (Revelation 14:4-5)

Indeed, Paul wrote "For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." (II Corinthians 11:2-3)

Question: Why is it so important to seek Jesus first? Because He is drawing unto Him a group of people -- His body of Christ Church -- that will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

These are those believers in Jesus by faith which have not defiled their garments -- or permitted another name to be injected in their foreheads. Instead, they walk with Jesus day in and day out becoming worthy of the vocation to which they have been called. (Ephesians 4:1) Not of their own doing or good works but because these believe that Jesus is the Lord of lords and King of kings, Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the ending. (Revelation 1:8)

The Word made flesh and dwelling among us ...

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us ... Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:1-2)

But there is more. While spiritual wickedness in high places increasingly becomes the norm, and the world in which we live ever darker, we are able to stand against the wiles of the devil -- because we have been clothed in His righteousness. (Ephesians 6:11-12) He who knew no sin became sin for us.

As a consequence, who then can separate us from the love of Christ? "Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, "For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us." (Romans 8:35-39)

In another place, "he that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name from the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels." (Revelation 3:4-5)

This is our promise!

"... forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you!" (I Peter 1:18-20)

"For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters; and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes." (Revelation 7:17)

Know Ye Therefore That They Which Are Of Faith, The Same Are The Children Of Abraham - Part 2222

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." (Hebrews 11:1-3)

"... knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." (Galatians 2:16)

In the last post, we began to understand those who would have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge -- because these remained ignorant of God's righteousness, instead going about to establish their own righteousness, having not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. What is the righteousness of God? Well, as the scripture saith, Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes.

But as state previously, righteousness which is of faith understands that the Word is nigh unto thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart. That is, the Word of faith which the apostles preached, saying that those that confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him form the dead, shalt be saved.

The same Word made flesh and dwelt among us -- Jesus -- as John writes. (John 1:1-18)

The same He who was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. The same He who came unto His own and His own received Him not. (John 1:10-11)

And this is what apostle Paul is saying to the saints -- "Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called [to be] an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (which He had promised afore by His prophets in the holy scriptures,) concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; and declared [to be] the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: by whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for His name: among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ: to all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called [to be] saints ..."

It is herein that we begin to understand that we are saved by grace, and that not of ourselves, but rather the gift of God. And similarly, that our good works are as filthy rags, until we come to the recognition that our righteousness is in the One who loved us enough to display His love on a cross. Indeed, the Good Shepherd who laid down His humanity so that we might have life, shedding His own holy blood so that we might have life through Him.

"Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood." (Acts 20:28)

There is so much to understand, which is why we study the scriptures for His truth. Apostle Paul continues, so that we would not be ignorant of God's righteousness, but rather, submitting ourselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and outside of Him, there is no wisdom or knowledge.

So again, Paul instructs us to delve into the truth and understand that this same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him -- for whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved. Who is the Lord? His Name shall be called JESUS for He shall save His people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21-23) He is both Lord and Christ, as Peter (standing with the eleven) declared on the day of Pentecost. (Acts 2:36-41)

From Romans 10:

"Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ [is] the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believes. For Moses describes the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which does those things shall live by them.

But the righteousness which is of faith speaks on this wise, "Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven?" (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) or, "Who shall descend into the deep?" (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it?

The Word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the Word of faith, which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, "Whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the SAME LORD over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:1-21)

We are those who are redeemed because of the righteousness of faith, who willingly serve the Lord Jesus with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, believing in the "risen" Christ! Think on these things, and know that He loves you beyond measure.

All Day Long, Saith The Lord, I Have Stretched Out My Hands Toward You - Part 2221

"Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God." (Romans 10:1-4)

What is the righteousness of God that the scriptures say we have not submitted ourselves to? As the scripture saith, the promised Christ, the prophesied Messiah which provided for us a way to be redeemed.

"For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believes." (Romans 10:4)

Therefore, when we know the Christ, who is JESUS, for He shall save His people from their sins, we also know that He is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believes. And now, as Peter (standing with the eleven) on the day of Pentecost said, "This same Jesus whom ye have crucified is both Lord and Christ." (Acts 2:36)

But there is more.

"For Moses describes the righteousness which is of the law, "That the man which doeth those things shall live by them." But the righteousness which is of faith speaks on this wise, Say not in thine heart, "Who shall ascend into heaven?" -- (that is, to bring Christ down [from] above:) or, "Who shall descend into the deep?" -- (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it?

"The Word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the Word of faith, which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For the scripture saith, "Whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed." For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.

How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? and how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias [Isaiah] saith, "Lord, who hath believed our report?" So then faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. But I say, "Have they not heard?" Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

But I say, "Did not Israel know?" First Moses saith, "I will provoke you to jealousy by [them that are] no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you." But Esaias [Isaiah] is very bold, and saith, "I was found of them that sought Me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after Me."

But to Israel He saith, "All day long I have stretched forth My hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people." (Romans 10:1-21)

Meditate upon these scriptures this day for your edification and learning, knowing how much our Lord God and Saviour Jesus the Christ loves you! Stand in the offering plate.

For We Are Made Partakers Of Christ, If We Hold The Beginning Of Our Confidence Steadfast Unto The End; - Part 2220

"God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by [His] Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of [His] glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high ..." (Hebrews 1:1-3)

Indeed, throughout the ages of mankind, the Spirit of God has continually endeavoured to reveal Himself. Sadly, we humans were always misreading God’s intended results. Even though God was constantly and purposefully attempting to reveal Himself to us, utilizing descriptive titles of His name as one approach, and by sending prophets to disseminate divinely inspired revelations, both His and the apostle's words fell on deaf ears.

In a last attempt to bring man salvation, the same God who created us in the beginning was moved by love and compassion toward us. As the scripture saith, "after the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared ..." (Titus 3:4-7; 1 Timothy 3:16; Acts 20:28; Matthew 1:21-23; Isaiah 9:6)

Deciding by the counsel of His own mind, He Himself set out to make a final attempt to redeem man from his fallen estate. God would become as one of us. This He accomplished by issuing His own seed as a man and as a woman (that which is to be conceived in you Mary is of the Holy Ghost). In today's language, that would mean Mary was a surrogate mother.

As the scriptures state, an angel revealed the child's name to be Jesus -- for He shall save His people from their sins. While on earth, Jesus went about His Father’s business, attempting to remove the fog of tradition that had become so entrenched within society. Ordinary people -- indeed, ordinary Joe's -- responded to His new good news, gospel message. In relaying His message, many noted that it was an authoritative one. Jesus did not speak like the scribes and the Pharisees. In fact, He talked the talk and walked the walk. Well, that conduct could not be tolerated by a seated religion.

So, as a consequence, the religious culture began to scheme, developing a plan that would remove Jesus. We know the end result. But there are equally important details to note that set the stage.

First and foremost, Jesus is the child of the same Spirit of the Lord that moved upon the face of the waters in the very beginning. The child had been clothed in Mary‘s womb in the fashion of men. That is, Jesus was clothed with that which Mary‘s womb was only capable of supplying. That is, similar to all those born of women, sinful flesh. It could not be any other way for she was also the offspring of Adam‘s fallen race.

In the man dwelt the holy Spirit, for Jesus was conceived of the Holy Ghost. In effect we see the priesthood of God being revealed in earthly fashion. God who is a Spirit was always love, mercy and compassion, right from the beginning. Now, centuries later, we are going to the school of God, to be taught the ABC's of God. We are learning that God Himself became as a son in earthly visible form.

Thus, in this current dispensation of grace, we are introduced to the spiritual priesthood of God. What we are having unveiled to us then is love. His abundant love. The love that God has always desired to bestow upon His people. Unlike the priests of today, there is no other priest like the priestly nature of the unseen God -- now being manifest in the man Jesus the Christ.

Initially, Philip who actually walked with Jesus was hung up as to who Jesus was. If you recall in the scriptures, Philip desired to see God the Father and said that if he did, that would satisfy Him. Well here comes the eye opener.

Jesus responded to Philip saying, "Have I been so long time with you and you have not known Me? If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father." (John 14:6-12)

God’s priestly nature (MELCHISEDEC) was in the man Christ Jesus, child of the Holy Ghost revealing His Father’s priestly nature -- reaching out to you and I with His arms wide open. Who would ever desire any other form of priest? Particularly when there is no other love like the love of Jesus.

The Spirit of the one God who was in the man Christ Jesus was and is and will be the prophet, priest and King. This God who has revealed Himself in the man Christ Jesus is now revealing Himself to you too if you are looking for a priest who understands our infirmities, and yet through His own sacrifice on the cross paid the ultimate price for our salvation -- so that you and I could be set free from the bondage of sin and guilt.

Look no further. For God has said, "Look to Me all you people who are lost and you shall be saved." Why? Because as Jesus points out, beside Him, there is no Saviour. Your only high priest - He lives forever - He has an unchangeable priesthood. So come to Jesus today, and experience love and joy that surpasses all human understanding. Take my Hand precious Lord.

Holiness Becomes Thine House, O Lord, Forever - Part 2219

" ... and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness." (Ephesians 4:24)

"The Lord reigns, He is clothed with Majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith He hath girded Himself; the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

Thy throne is established of old: Thou art from everlasting. The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea. Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becomes Thine house, O Lord, for ever." (Psalm 93:1-5)

You see, as believers in Jesus Christ by faith, we have a hope and joy that is unshakeable because we know in whom we serve. And because of His mercy and love, we can remain steadfast in His arms. In other words, there is joy that surpasses all human understanding. Because of His mercy, when He decided to shed His precious holy blood for His people.

Indeed, He made a way when there was no way. He opened/opens the doors when everything around us appears closed forever. Why Because Jesus is now both Lord and Christ. (Acts 2:36) Because Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life -- the I AM who from the beginning of time had His eye focused on us.

As the psalmist David said, "And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all [men], even as we do toward you: to the end He may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints." (I Thessalonians 3:12-13)

Meditate on these things this day, communing with the King of kings and Lord of lords. Only He is faithful in all things.  Praise to His precious, holy Name.

Hearken Unto My Words, Saith the Lord, Which He Shall Speak In My Name! -- Part 2218

"The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto Me; unto Him ye shall hearken; according to all that thou desiredst of the Lord thy God ... I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put My words in His mouth; and He shall speak unto them all that I shall command Him.

And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever will not hearken unto My words which He shall speak in My name, I will require [it] of him.

But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in My Name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. And if thou say in thine heart, "How shall we know the Word which the Lord hath not spoken?" when a prophet speaks in the Name of the Lord, "if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that [is] the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, [but] the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him." (Deuteronomy 15:15-22)

Even in the time of Moses, the scriptures were pointing to the promised Seed, the prophet who would speak the Word in His precious, holy Name. And as we now know (because we are living in the current dispensation of grace wherein the Lord did not want us to remain spiritually ignorant) this promise is JESUS.

The King of kings and Lord of lords, Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the ending. (Revelation 1:8)

And of His Spirit, the fruit of the promised SEED, have all believers in the promised SEED of God received. God planned and put in motion all things, as predetermined by the counsel of His own will. Therefore, this plan is entirely God’s plan.

No one was His counsellor. Rather, God purposefully prepared Himself a body in which God could appear as a Son brought forth from a willing surrogate mother named Mary. This meant that Mary herself lived her life in a prone to sin body inasmuch as she also was one of Adam’s fallen race.

In Jesus then, Jesus being the Son of God, a new bloodline began. A bloodline that did not descend from Adam. Within this new bloodline, JESUS is the SEED of the Spirit of God. The embryo, the bones, and the blood, were of the Spirit of God. Similarly, the embryo was clothed with Adamic prone to sin flesh whilst in the womb of His surrogate mother Mary.

JESUS, whilst in that body was tempted, and tried in all points - just like as we are - but without succumbing to sin. In other words, if man were ever to be redeemed, it would require a sinless man willing to die. For it is written in the scriptures that the wages of sin is eternal death.

But in deciding the plan of salvation, God searched and concluded that there was no man found that was holy, righteous, or undefiled. Therefore, it is written, a body have you prepared me. For God so loved the world that He gave His ONLY Begotten Son to die at Calvary so that men and women could be free.

And looking back, this plan of salvation is exactly what God has done. For JESUS was conceived of the holy Spirit of God. Therefore, He who was brought forth was God in the flesh. Pure, holy, undefiled, and separate from sinners. It was God who purposed to lay down His sinless life. God Himself as a Son becoming the only means of eternal salvation. By the sacrifice of His life, we in turn could be called sons and daughters of God.

Therefore, we cannot nor ought we to dismiss the Word/Wisdom of God. Instead, we must be born again. We ought to no longer to linger embrace another SEED. Instead, arise and be baptized. Wash away your sin whilst you are calling upon the name of our great God and only Saviour JESUS the Christ!

And Ye Shall Call His Name JESUS, For He Shall Save His People From Their Sins - Part 2217

The SEED of promised blessing is intended to be enjoyed in JESUS the Christ. The SEED being JESUS the Christ and being clearly presented by apostle Paul in Galatians. Paul was inspired by the Spirit of God and as a consequence, revealed the afore-hid mysteries of God. These are the same mysteries that were hid from ages past, now being revealed by God for the edification of His Redeemed body! (The Church)

As the scriptures state, there is only one body and only one Spirit. The Church (being the redeemed believers take their place as members in the body of JESUS (the Christ) which body is the temple. The only temple, according to the scriptures in which the Spirit of God is pleased to dwell.

Believers baptized into JESUS the Christ have put on JESUS (Christ!). For in JESUS the Christ is the righteousness of God revealed. When JESUS was baptized in water by John the baptizer, John said to JESUS, "It is me that needs to be baptized by you and here you are coming to me." JESUS replied to John stating, “It becomes us to fulfill all righteousness." This is why JESUS stepped into the water and was subsequently baptized by John.

John was a man sent of God as a forerunner to JESUS. Front page news in those days. John was sent of God to share the good news of JESUS -- he WORD/ WISDOM of God veiled in flesh -- as one of Adam’s fallen offspring. JESUS as a man obediently obeyed God’s command and by so doing proclaimed the righteousness of God.

John proclaimed that JESUS was the Lamb of God. And that God Himself provided the sacrificial lamb. Indeed, there was to be no other sacrifice for sin. God is preparing to sacrifice His own body. Imagine, the same God who created us loved us so much that He was willing to sacrifice His body. Once and only once. And in so doing, ensured that no other sacrifice was needed. That is right, There is no more sacrificial offering for sin. Our salvation was PAID IN FULL.

The church then (being the redeemed believers purchased back to God as a result of God laying down His own life as a Son) now being Fathered by God in a Son’s body. It was that body prone to sin yet found sinless that was sacrificed and cursed by God.

God Himself as a Son (lamb) bore our sins in His own body crucified on a tree. (JESUS being the tree of life). Look to Me all you people for I Am God and beside Me there is no Saviour.

As many as received JESUS, to them JESUS gave power(or the right) to become the sons of God. It is by the Grace of God that we are redeemed and delivered from the bondage of sin. We are not saved by works. For if works were sufficient to deliver man from sin then there was no need for the lamb of God to be sacrificed.

But JESUS is the Shepherd of God’s sheep. All who believe and follow in His Words of Wisdom shall not walk in darkness, for JESUS is the Light that lightens.

Further, JESUS died the just for the unjust. The Spirit of God having laid upon His Son the iniquity of all. Herein, perceive we the Love of God. For in that one sacrifice, we ought to clearly see that God has went to unbelievable lengths to rescue us. To save us. To walk with us. There is therefore no condemnation to all those who believe! However, the wrath of God hangs over others who shun this one way of salvation!

May God richly bless with peace! Stand in the offering plate.

Emmanuel, Being Interpreted, God With Us! - Part 2216

"Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: and think not to say within yourselves, "We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire." (Matthew 3:8-10)

The Lord said to Abraham that he was blessed because of his believing faith. Abraham's believing faith was counted to him as righteousness. Indeed, because of his faith in the Word spoken by the Lord to him, God said to him that in him and in his seed would all the nations of the earth be blessed.

God did not say, in the plurality of Abraham's seed that nations would be blessed. God spoke in the singular, speaking of a particular Seed. And that Seed of blessing is the new blood seed of the Spirit of God that God implanted into Abraham’s seed bank. This is the Seed we now know as Jesus the Christ, who is the promised Seed of God. The only begotten! Therefore, whosoever applies faith in the Seed of the holy Spirit, he or she will be blessed. Likewise, whatsoever nation nationally believes in that Seed, they in turn will be blessed as well.

The record of the scriptures verify that when individuals come to Jesus with nothing except sincerity and truth, the blessing immediately flows over them engulfing all those into the ghostly atmosphere of the Spirit of God. Past history records that when a nation turns to God, that nation becomes blessed, and remains safe from all enemies. Unfortunately, when a nation willingly rejects God they decline into disarray.

In earlier posts, we have spoke of Mary's pregnancy and her discourse with the angel of God. Mary accepted all that was spoken to her was indeed truth, saying to the Angel, “Let it be so unto me according to Thy Word." This event, in all probability would be much better understood by a woman, and more than likely by a woman who has birthed a child.

The next time we hear of Jesus was when He was eventually found in the temple, discussing the scriptures. Upon being found by Mary and Joseph, they sort of had their natural questionings as to why He had left without discussing with them His purposed intent. In response to their queries, Jesus simply asked, "Do you not know that I must be about my Father’s business?"

At 12 years of age, maybe that answer would have been lacking somewhat. Nevertheless, I am sure that they now had a reality check - an aha moment - for both Mary and Joseph knew the origin of His birth. And knew also that the wise men who had come had worshipped Jesus. And now we find Jesus expressing to His chosen parental guardians that He must be about His Father’s business.

Taking this thought further, we recognize that all seed comes from God. One has to wait until the seed matures to behold the contents of the seed. The Spirit is of God. God is the Father of all spirits. In Jesus' case, He came forth from God. God’s own Seed - inseparable. God and His Seed. God and His Word Jesus. One Spirit. One Word. One God. One Flesh. One Name. All the fullness of God dwelt in the man Christ Jesus. (Colossians 2:90 "To wit, God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself." (II Corinthians 5:19; Acts 20:28; Matthew 1:21-23)

Captured in a different way, the silence in Heaven until the Spirit of God in Christ said, "I must be about My Father’s business."

Herein, the turning point wherein He made a way for our salvation, when there was simply no way. Think upon these words this day, giving yourself wholly to them so that we with all our learning gain understanding too. Pray for the Lord Jesus to open y/our understanding that we together might understand the scriptures.

Peace to all who are in Jesus -- our One and Only Mediator. Stand in the offering plate.

Wilt You Be Made Whole? Let Us Continue To Walk In The Light Of The Lord Jesus - Part 2215

Jesus said, " I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believes on Me should not abide in darkness." (John 12:46)

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, "I Am - the light of the world: he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." (John 8:12)

When speaking of Jesus, John writes, "In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not ... [That] was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world." (John 1:4-8)

But not everyone will accept that Jesus is the Light of this world, or that He is the Bread of Life. We see evidence of this dividing line in the fifth chapter of John, wherein Jesus heals a man who had an infirmity for 38 years. Immediately therein, the man is made whole, taking up His bed and walking. But the Jews were not happy that the man was cured, instead accusing the Lord of glory of breaking the law. Indeed, the Jews were so mad about what Jesus had done, they sought even more to kill Him.

Nevertheless, Jesus never moved away from His original intent, as prophesied, when He said, "The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised ..." (Luke 4:18)

How does this example end? With Jesus once again proclaiming that He is the Light of the world, and that we should walk in Him, abiding in His goodness and grace. Yes, even in persecution, Jesus was always inviting those who heard Him into abundant life in Him.

As Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that hears My Word, and believes on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." (John 5:24)

The good news message for all time -- that is, that after the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared. He is the Great I AM who willingly shed His own precious holy blood so that we might have life everlasting. (Acts 20:28) Read the account for yourself and be edified, and strengthened by the Word. And then be willing to stand in the offering plate for Jesus -- the King of kings and Lord of lords. (Revelation 1:8)

From John 5:

"After this, there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep [market] a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, He saith unto him, "Wilt thou be made whole?" The impotent man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steps down before me." Jesus saith unto him, "Rise, take up thy bed, and walk." And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, "It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry [thy ]bed." [The healed man] answered them, "He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk." Then asked they him, "What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?"

And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed Himself away, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus finds him in the temple, and said unto him, "Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee." The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.

And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay Him, because He had done these things on the sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, "My Father works hitherto, and I work." Therefore, the Jews sought the more to kill Him, because He not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do: for what things soever He doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loves the Son, and shews Him all things that Himself doeth: and He will shew Him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. For as the Father raises up the dead, and quickens [them]; even so the Son quickens whom He will. For the Father judges no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: that all [men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father .... he that honours not the Son honours not the Father which hath sent Him.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears My Word, and believes on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you -- The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in Himself; so hath He given to the Son to have life in Himself; and hath given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of man. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. I can of Mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and My judgment is just; because I seek not Mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent Me.

If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true. There is another that bears witness of Me; and I know that the witness which He witnessed of Me is true. Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth. But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved. He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given Me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of Me, that the Father hath sent Me.

And the Father Himself, which hath sent Me, hath borne witness of Me. Ye have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His shape. And ye have not His word abiding in you: for whom He hath sent, Him ye believe not. Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me. And ye will not come to Me, that ye might have life.

I receive not honour from men. But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. I am come in My Father’s Name, and ye receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that [comes] from God only? Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is One that accuses you, [even] Moses, in whom ye trust. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed Me: for he wrote of Me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe My words?" (John 5:1-47)

Be blessed!
