Beholding As In A Glass the Glory of the Lord - Part 1059

"Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God, and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner [stone] -- in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord; in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit." (Ephesians 2:19-22)

As I stated in an earlier blog, we --as believers in Jesus Christ by faith -- need to stop believing man-made modern day religious statements of faith, and start diligently seeking Jesus through His Word. Letting Jesus be our teacher in all things spiritual -- in the same manner that "He through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom He had chosen -- to whom also He showed Himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God." (Acts 1:25)

Studying to show ourselves -- each and every one of us approved, as a workman does. But too often, we expect that the great teachers of this day actually get the Word of God right. A good starting place for discernment can be the numerous requests for money, but sadly again, instead of calling these people out with the scriptures, we become cynical of religion. My message to you today is to tell you that there is a better way.

That is, to read and study the scriptures so that you can understand the truth of His Word. Take hold of the truth of Jesus -- making Jesus number one in your life, seeking Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, so that we can then serve as a flow through -- loving one another.

Jesus said, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

We have a mission. No, rather each and every one of us is given a ministry. Not man-made religion as the world would have you believe but as fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God -- built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets -- JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF being the chief corner stone. (Ephesians 2:19-22)

"Do we being again to commend ourselves? Or need we, as some [others] epistles of commendation to you, or [letters] of commendation from you?Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men [forasmuch as ye are ] manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone but in fleshy tables of the heart and such trust have we through Christ to God-ward ... not to think we are sufficient of our selves to think anything of our selves but our sufficiency [is] of God -- who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter but of the Spirit, for the letter killeth but the Spirit giveth life.

But if the ministration of death, written and engraved in stones was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance which [glory] was not to be done away -- how shall not the ministration of the Spirit be rather glorious? For if the ministration of condemnation [be] glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth -- for if that which is done away [was] glorious, much more that which remaineth [is] glorious.

Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech; and not as Moses [which] put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished, but their minds were blinded for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament -- but even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

Nevertheless, when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

But we all with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord are changed into the same image from glory to glory [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord." (II Corinthians 3:1-18)

How our world would change, when people begin to realize that believing in Jesus by faith is not a list of rules and regulations, or the ten commandments, or a reading of Moses but a life time experience whereby the vail is removed when we turn our hearts to Jesus. We are set free to stand fast in the liberty that is in Christ Jesus.

The other question to ask about religious statements of faith is this. How can a set of statements that is decades old even begin to define the fullness of joy that is found in His Word? Are we not actually limiting God when we tell the world "this is what we believe" in a number of bullet points?

Indeed, Jesus said that the volume of the Book was written about Him, and that if everything that could be wrote was to be written, the world could not contain all of the things He did for us.

Therefore, instead of trying to make God like humanity, perhaps, it is time to seek the One who created humanity in the beginning, and then loved us enough to shed His Holy blood on a cross for you and I -- "knowing that He which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up [us] also by Jesus, and shall present [us] with you for all things [are] for your sakes, that the abundant grace might though the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God -- for our light affliction which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory." (II Corinthians 4:14-18)

Set your affection on things above and not on the things of the earth; "for ye are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God -- when Christ [who is our ] life shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory. (Colossians 3:1-4)

Shine unto them that are lost. Preach not ourselves but Christ Jesus the Lord. (II Corinthians 4:5) Stand in the offering plate.

Jesus Said, "Behold I Come Quickly And My Reward Is With Me - Part 1058

THE DAY OF THE LORD SHALL COME. In reality, the Lord has already come. For Jesus said that He would not leave His followers comfortless. As the scriptures point out, Jesus said "I will come to you!" Further, the scriptures declare that all those who have by faith come to believe upon Jesus, are now a new creation of God. While admittedly, each believer may externally look the same as they did prior to their expressed faith in Jesus, on the inside they have been changed. Or as the scriptures refer to the salvation experience - believers have been reborn and their minds renewed. They were not strapped to an operating table whilst someone rearranged their inners. Oh no. The inward change that occurs is a direct result of the promise of Jesus - that He would not leave believers comfortless. He will come to you.

In that moment when people ask Jesus into their life, they are born again, or phrased another way, born of God. All of this internal change occurs in a moment of time. In fact, in a second of time even though in God's view, that is still too long. Indeed, the scriptures use the language "in the twinkling of an eye." The most important message for us is that heaven is just a prayer away. Similarly, we need to recognize that God has stated, that even before we call, He will answer. Nothing separates a believer from the love of God that can be found only in Jesus. Because the Spirit of God who fills the heavens and the earth is no longer on the outside. He is the same Spirit that was in the man Jesus. And it is the same Jesus who has taken up residence within the heart of believers.

Still, in terms of the original point of this post - the day of the Lord will come - there will be a second coming of God. In this context, and apart from a personal experience of rebirth, there is no redemption available to mankind in the second coming. The lyrics from the O'Jays song "Love Train" pretty well says it all. Please do not miss this train at the station, for if you miss it I will be sorry, yes, sorry for you. Don’t you know that it is time to get on board for this love train bearing the message of God is travelling on through. If you haven't reached out to Jesus, this would be the opportune time.

On a different note, there are those who repeatedly question why anyone should have the right to hear this message twice when some have never heard the gospel message once. There is a parable in the New Testament that refers to this. Recall the ten virgins, of whom five are categorized as being wise and the other five foolish. The latter group all slumbered and slept, having become recipients of mans' foolish wisdom, and having swallowed Satan’s bait, hook, line and sinker. Instead of preparing for the coming of their King, they believed that nothing had changed within the world. As a consequence, their collective belief in God had dissipated to the place that their lamps of belief had gone out. The parable speaks of a certain time when a voice was heard declaring, "Behold, the bridegroom is coming." The ten upon hearing this news arose and began to trim their lamps of belief. Unfortunately, the five foolish virgins recognised that they had no oil in their lamps (the oil symbolic of the Spirit of God).  They hastily went to purchase oil. Upon their return to where the five wise virgins had been they were confronted with the fact that indeed the bridegroom had returned and they had missed the train.

This parable leads us to the all important question. With which group do you want to be found among the ten when we hear the news, "Behold, the bridegroom comes ... go you forth to meet Him." Christ in you now bringing to believers the promised hope of the glory of eternal life. The message is simple. Only Jesus saves. He alone has the words of eternal life. Please do not miss this message of the all important second coming of the Lord Jesus the Christ. It's your call - accept His invitation. Come to the Lord Jesus today! Stand in the offering plate.

God Revealed Unto Us By His Spirit - Part 1057

"And my speech and my preaching [was] not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power; that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect; yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought, but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom] which God ordained before the world unto our glory; which none of the princes of this world knew; for had they known [it] they would not have crucified the Lord of glory ... but God hath revealed [them] unto us by His Spirit, for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God." (I Corinthians 2:6-11)

I am saddened that in a world that clearly doesn't celebrate our Lord God and Saviour's mercy, many believers settle for a distorted religious church-anity that leaves the people within starving for manna from heaven. Where is the hope that Jesus gives? Where is the joy that Jesus instills in His people? And His wisdom -- not the wisdom of this world but the wisdom that God reveals unto us by His Spirit. His Holy presence in our life.

"Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the Word of His grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands." (Acts 14:3)

What has happened? What has changed that we would not seek our Lord God and Saviour with all our heart, soul, mind and strength?

In Acts 13, there is the example of apostle Paul and Barnabas who "waxed bold" and said, "It was necessary that the Word of God should first have been spoken to you but seeing ye put it from you and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles. For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, "I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles that thous shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth." (Acts 13:46-47)

Note the Gentiles' response. "When they heard this, they were glad and glorified the Word of the Lord" and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. The Word of the Lord being the same God who in the beginning created man, forming us from the very dust of the earth.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God ... and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us." (John 1:1-14)

But the Jews then (and similarly what the modern day religious culture does now) stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts. For what? Preaching the good news gospel of Jesus Christ.

But did the disciples go away disheartened? Of course not, because these knew the Saviour Himself.

"And the disciples were filled with joy AND with the Holy Ghost." (Acts 13:52)

Get to know Jesus today. Seek diligently His wisdom, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world unto glory -- hidden for those who seek Him. (I Corinthians 2:6-11) Speak boldly in the Lord, and give testimony unto the Word of His grace. Exhort others to continue in the faith, knowing "that we through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God." (Acts 14:22) Stand in the offering plate.

We Have An Advocate With the Father -- Jesus Christ the Righteous - Part 1056

"But unto you that fear My name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings, and ye shall go forth and grow up as calves of the stall, and ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do [this]," saith the Lord of hosts. (Malachi 4:2-3)

His name? The precious name of our Lord God and Saviour is Jesus the Christ! We see His name referred to throughout the scriptures, and yet the religious culture of this day distracts us from His name. They will preach anything BUT His precious name given unto us whereby we must be saved. Indeed, as we read from the scriptures, there is NO OTHER NAME. This is the King of the Jews. (Luke 23:38)

"But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God [even] to them that believe on His name." (John 1:12)

"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus -- for as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ." (Galatians 3:26) "Know ye not that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death; that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life ..." (Romans 6:3-4)

"For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became very poor that ye through His poverty might be rich." (II Corinthians 8:9)

Further, "the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you but as of the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and this is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him. And now little children, abide in Him that when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. if ye know that He is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of Him. (I John 2:27-29)

As "it" hath taught you. Luke used a similar reference when he spoke of the body of Christ. "And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen and laid it in a sepulcher that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid." (Luke 23:53) And again, when Luke scribes Mary's words after the angel told her the Holy Ghost shall come upon her and the power of the Highest shall overshadow her, "therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God." (Luke 1:35) It is no wonder Mary said: "My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour." (Luke 1:46-47)

This is the message that the modern religious culture doesn't want us to know.

But Jesus said, "And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father my be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in My name, I will do [it]. If ye love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with your for ever -- [even] the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him, but ye know Him for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I shall not leave you comfortless. I will come to you." (John 14:13-18)

This is the same Comforter who could not come until Jesus had ascended. This explains why we are instructed in whatever we do -- "in both word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus." (Colossians 3:17)

When we seek Jesus with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, our world changes. He gives us hope and joy and peace so that we might be rich because of the poverty He endured. This is the good news gospel that needs to awaken within us, so that He Himself who knew no sin and yet became sin for us can be magnified.

"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life (for the life was manifested and we have seen, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you that ye also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, and these things write we unto you that your joy may be full." (I John 1:1-4)

"Jesus Christ the righteous; and He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for our's only but also for [the sins of] the whole world and hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments." (I John 2:1-3)

Apostle Paul put it this way" "And my speech and my preaching [was] not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power; that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Receive the Lord Jesus into your heart today. Believe on His name. Seek Him through His Word so that you too can understand the hidden wisdom which God ordained in His bosom from the very beginning -- even before the world was formed. Jesus -- the good news gospel message that brings life in abundance to those who follow Him.

From the old covenant we know that "He left not Himself without witness in that He did good, and gave us  rain from heaven and fruitful seasons filling our hearts with food and gladness." (Acts 14:17) But in this current dispensation of grace, He went beyond our wildest imagination -- the Lord of glory Himself became our Saviour.

"The longsuffering of our Lord [is] salvation." (II Peter 3:15) Stand in the offering plate.

Unto Them That Look for Him Shall He Appear The Second Time - Part 1055

Jesus said that by reason of your teachers, you do greatly err. Why? Because believers in Jesus the Christ by faith have not taken the time to seek Jesus. And, as a consequence, these same believers are not familiar with the scriptures. How do we know this? Because in the first chapter of Acts, we learn that the Holy Ghost had not yet been given because Jesus had not yet ascended. Indeed, Jesus had not yet been crucified, buried, and resurrected. It was only when Jesus was resurrected and glorified that His holy Spirit was poured out into believers' innermost being.

We also know from studying His Word that the Holy Ghost is our Comforter. He leads and guides believers into all truth. It is the holy Spirit of Jesus that brings all matters of recollection to believers' minds. In other words, whatsoever was said by Him when He walked among men on earth would be similarly taught to those of us who believe in the promises of God.(CHRIST IN YOU)

God who previously was on the outside has now taken permanent residence into the innermost being of the believer. When someone asks Jesus into their life, Jesus becomes an integral part of the believer's body, now cleansed, by the pure shed blood of His holy Spirit. This refers to a new bloodline and not an Adamic blood line - see earlier posts. This new blood line, which flowed within the veins of Jesus -- the conceived child and seed of God’s holy Ghost -- veiled within a sin prone body taken from Mary. His surrogate virgin mother’s sin prone body.

It is here that the Spirit of God was clothed with sin prone flesh enabling the manifestation in the flesh of God as a Son. Jesus' flesh now capable of being tempted, tried in all points and yet not succumbing to sin's temptations.

So in reality, Jesus was not guilty of any crime, even though He was submitted to satanic justice. Still, He placed Himself into the hands of sinful men to be crucified. God transferring and laying all our demerits of sin upon Himself. Note again however that Jesus NEVER sinned. It is recorded in the scriptures that in Jesus death, JESUS died -- the JUST for the UNJUST that He might bring us back to God.

In other words, the King of kings shed His precious blood for you and I.

It is also stated in the scriptures that when the fullness of time was come, then God would send forth His Son. At a time when darkness covered the face of the earth, and gross darkness covered the eyes of the people, satan and his demonic hordes had taken the upper hand. In this context, men had no hope. One and all were deceived by the religious leaders that abounded at this time. People were reduced to trampling the grapes whilst others drank the wine. Many of us could compare these former times with today's entitlement mindset.

But in the dead of night when not one hope was in sight, then God sent His Son. Indeed, His only begotten Son to rescue His earthy image and likewise man, from their captivator satan.

Right from the get go, satan hastened to defend his kingdom of wicked darkness, appearing as light. It is no wonder that Jesus asked that if the so-called light that is in you is in reality darkness. If so, then how great is that darkness? But I digress.

The good news is that God is about to open a can of worms. God's eye is on the sparrow. He is watching you. He cares for you. His hand is not short that He cannot save. Neither is His ear heavy that He cannot hear you. In fact, He is attentive to our cry. He proved His love on a cross, when He willingly shed His precious holy blood for us.

Unfortunately, since that time, satan had obscured the truth. Wolves in sheep's clothing have made themselves at home within the religious system. They keep people busy doing good works so that they don't have time to be silent "and know that I am God." These same believers don't have time to study the scriptures, such as a workman does, so that they can become ministers of the good news gospel of Jesus Christ.

Add to this the worldly constructs (in which the world also expects us to subscribe) and we miss the inherent message -- Jesus sets us free. The result? Sadly, a diabolical mess. The powers that be present another God, of which we should note that our forefathers fled when they came to the New World. We recognize their actions through the motto -- In God we trust.

God's name for this dispensation of grace? Jesus the Christ. The only name under heaven whereby we must be saved. Trust in your Lord God and Saviour today. Fill your heart with His Word. Believe in His goodness and love with all your soul, heart, mind and strength.

"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation." (Hebrews 9:28)

The only good news message that matters. Stand in the offering plate.

We Have Been Duped - Part 1054

Jesus said, "Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat and swallow a camel ...." (Matthew 23:24)

Here we are -- sent forth as lambs among wolves to proclaim the good news gospel of Jesus Christ so that He may receive all the honour and glory. So that He alone -- the Lord of lords and King of kings -- our Lord God and Saviour is worthy to be praised. (Luke 10:3; Psalm 145:3) Why do we minister to those around us? Because "our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself." (Philippians 3:20-21)

But over time, as the apostles repeatedly wrote, the religious community has not remained true to the teachings of Jesus Christ. This is why apostle Paul wrote, "O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes "Jesus Christ" hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?" comes to mind. (Galatians 3:1-3)

Continuing on the same theme presented in the last several posts, consider how the man-made religious teaching concerning the trinity or a triune God or God in three persons would lead to a massive revision of the scriptures? That is, if the trinity really were anything other than a false religious teaching designed to confuse believers.

Just like Matthew 28:19 (a verse which the Roman Catholic Church openly admits changing the original wording to Father, Son, and Holy Ghost -- which now ironically, the latter is changed further to Holy Spirit), the meaning of "one Lord, one faith, one baptism" would have to take on a different connotation. In other words, the religious authors of the false trinity doctrine would have no other choice because even these would have to admit that God is not the author of confusion. (I Corinthians 14:33)

But Jesus said, "No man can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." (Matthew 6:24)

So, if this be the case, and we are to remain steadfast in the apostle's doctrine, why don't we just believe His Word -- as it is written and presented? (Acts 2:42) Isn't that better than straining at a gnat and swallowing a camel?

Some verses to reflect upon:

"And without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." (I Timothy 3:16)

"Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." (Matthew 1:21)

"And Thomas answered and said unto Jesus, "My Lord and My God." (John 20:28)

Jesus said, "I am Alpha and Omega, the first an dthe last." (Revelation 1:11; Revelation 1:8; Revelation 21:6; Revelation 22:13)

Jesus said, "That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:15)

Jesus said, "Search the scriptures for in them ye think ye have eternal life; and they are they which testify of Me ... and ye will not come to Me, that ye might have life." (John 5:39-40)

"And she shall bring forth a son and thou shalt call His name Jesus for He shall save His people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21)

"Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well. The devils also believe and tremble." (James 2:19)

Jesus said unto him, "Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God." (Matthew 4:1-10)

Jesus said, "And ye shall be hated of all [men] for My name's sake ..." (Matthew 10:22)

Jesus said, "Come unto Me all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest upon your souls ... for My yoke is easy and My burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)

Jesus said, "Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, "This people draweth nigh unto Me with their mouth, and honoureth Me with [their] lips but their heart is far from Me. But in vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." (Matthew 15:7-9; Isaiah 29:13; Colossians 2:18-22; Mark 7:6)

Jesus said, "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:20)

"While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, saying, "What think ye of Christ? Whose son is He?" They say unto Him, "[The son] of David." He saith unto them, "How then doth David in spirit call Him Lord, saying, "The Lord said unto my Lord, "Sit Thou on My right hand, till I make thine enemies Thy footstool? If David then call Him Lord, how is He His son?" And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any [man] from that day forth ask Him any more [questions]." (Matthew 22:41-46; Psalm 110:1; Acts 2:32-39; Ephesians 1:19-23; Mark 12:34-37; Luke 14:6)

Jesus said, "And blessed is [he] whosoever shall not be offended in Me." (Luke 7:23)

"Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God, and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets -- Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner[stone]; in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord -- in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit." (Ephesians 2:19-22)

Let Him who has brought you this far, reveal Himself through His Word -- making all [men] see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ .... according to the eternal purpose which He purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Ephesians 3:9-11)

Stand in the offering plate.

Walk Worthy of God Who Hath Called You Into His Kingdom and Glory - Part 1053

"If you continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and NOT moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard [and] was preached to every creature which is under heaven ... the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from now generations but now is made manifest to His saints; to whom God would make known what the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles -- which IS CHRIST IN YOU -- THE HOPE OF GLORY -- WHOM WE PREACH." (Colossians 1:23-28)

How amazing that God revealed the mystery that was hid in His bosom from the beginning of time to us in this current generation. "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." (I Peter 2:9) A royal generation, called into His Kingdom and glory. (I Thessalonians 2:12)

Indeed, we are privileged beyond measure, and yet, many believers would rather subscribe to "another gospel" taught by a wayward religious culture than stand in the good news gospel of our Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ. Think about this for a moment.

We are not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold OR from vain conversation received by tradition for your fathers. Rather, we are saved with the precious blood of Christ -- as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, who by Him do believe in God that raised Him up from the dead and gave Him glory that your faith and hope might be in God." (I Peter 1:19-22)

The one true God who became flesh and dwelt among us so that we might know Him. (John 1:1-18) "He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God -- to them that believe on His name." (John 1:12)

Instead, however, we put our faith in a man-made religious doctrine -- a trinity, or God in three persons -- promoting some version of - "the whole three Persons are coeternal, and coequal. So that in all things, as aforesaid; the Unity in Trinity, and the Trinity in Unity, is to be worshipped."

This is NOT the Word of God. In fact, the trinity does NOT exist in the scriptures. If it did, all of the scriptures would have to change. Can you imagine reading -- "In the beginning the trinity -- or unity in trinity" instead of "In the beginning, God"? (Genesis 1:1)

How confusing would "One Lord, One faith, One baptism" become if this scripture was revised to reflect the current traditions of men? (Ephesians 4:5)

Or, "but we see Jesus"? (Hebrews 2:9) Or, "looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith"? (Hebrews 12:2)

Moreover, who would we pray to? How would we know His name? Jesus said to Ananias, "Go thy way, for he [Saul/Paul] is a chosen vessel unto Me to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings, and the children of Israel .. for I will show him how great things he must suffer for My name's sake." (Acts 9:15-16)

Later, after receiving the revelation of the mystery that was hid in the bosom of the Father until the fullness of time, apostle Paul wrote: "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid -- which IS JESUS CHRIST." (Acts 3:11) "In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together ..." (I Corinthians 5:4) "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow ... and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord." (Philippians 2:11) "That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ ..." (Philippians 1:26)

This is why the scriptures tell us that not every spirit is of God "because many false prophets are gone out into the world." (I John 4:1-3) This is why we encourage you not to let anyone hinder you that ye should not obey the truth because of their vain janglings. (Galatians 5:7) "Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions rather than godly edifying which is in faith." (I Timothy 1:4)

Rather, diligently search the scriptures for yourself, as does a workman. "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." (Galatians 5:1)

Why? Because "the Word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the Word which by the gospel is preached unto you." (I Peter 1:25) "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God ... He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not." (John 1:1-18)

The same God who created the heavens and the earth in the beginning loved us enough to shed His precious holy blood on a rugged wooden cross for you and I. Worship Him in everything you/we do in both word or deed, giving "yourself continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the Word." (Acts 6:4)

And do so in order that "the peace of God which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7) Stand in the offering plate.

Semantics? Theological Argument? No, the Word of God - Part 1052

What does it matter, they ask? Some even conclude -- "it's only semantics" when referring to the good news gospel of Jesus Christ and His kingdom. Sadly, the religious confusion around the Godhead has only served to cause further ignorance within congregations, and rather than encouraging believers in Jesus by faith to "seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness" with all one's heart, soul, mind and strength, so that "all these things shall be added unto you" another gospel is preached. (Matthew 6:33)

But that is not all. Many in the religious community have begun to proclaim that if one speaks the gospel of Jesus Christ boldly -- to the point where some form of "disputing" may result, we are told that these individuals must have the wrong spirit. These rely on I Timothy 6:5 to support their position -- which states: "Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness." (I Timothy 6:5)

These haven't read about apostle Paul who spoke boldly for three months in one place -- "disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God." (Acts 19:8)

Neither have they used the fifth verse in context.

"Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour -- THAT THE NAME OF GOD AND DOCTRINE BE NOT BLASPHEMED. And they that have believing masters, let them not despise because they are brethren; but rather do service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort. If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words -- the words of our Lord Jesus Christ and to the doctrine which is according to godliness -- he is proud, knowing nothing but doting about questions, and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness -- FROM SUCH WITHDRAW THYSELF." (I Timothy 6:1-5)

"But godliness ..." (I Timothy 6:6) What is godliness?

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ [which is] our hope, explains the mystery of godliness:

"These things I write unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly. But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of truth -- and without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness -- God WAS manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." (I Timothy 3:16)

Paul is not the only apostle to proclaim the mystery that was hid in the bosom of the Father from the beginning. John also revealed the mystery when he wrote:

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The SAME was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made .... He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him to them gave He power to become the sons of God -- to them that believe on His name." (John 1:1-12)

"And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us ..." (John 1:14)

"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending," saith the Lord, "which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." (Revelation 1:8) "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last." (Revelation 1:11) "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last." (Revelation 22:13) And He said unto me, John writes yet again: "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son." (Revelation 21:6-7)

"For the scripture saith, "Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed." (Romans 10:11)

The scriptures do not state -- whosoever believeth on the "trinity" shall not be ashamed. The scripture does not say -- whosoever believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit shall not be ashamed. Why not? Because the trinity -- as it is currently predominantly taught in our religious culture -- does not exist in the scriptures.

The same God and heavenly Father who created us in the beginning loved each and every one of us to become flesh and dwell among us, inviting us -- as a consequence of His precious holy blood shed on the cross - to receive His free gift of salvation. If we would only believe in Jesus by faith.

He "who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature -- for by Him were all things created that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers -- ALL things were created by Him and for Him -- and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist -- and He is the Head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead that in all, He might have the preeminence. FOR IT PLEASED THE FATHER THAT IN HIM SHOULD ALL FULLNESS DWELL -- and having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself -- by Him ..." (Colossians 1:15-20)

"For in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily." (Colossians 2:9)

There is a mystery -- yes-- "the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations but now is made manifest to His saints -- to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles -- WHICH IS CHRIST IN YOU -- THE HOPE OF GLORY WHOM WE PREACH, WARNING EVERY MAN IN ALL WISDOM THAT WE MAY PRESENT EVERY MAN PERFECT IN CHRIST JESUS." (Colossians 1:26-28)

Don't fall for the changing of the text in Matthew 28:19, whereby the Roman Catholic church willingly admits changing this scripture in the 3rd century AD. Don't believe statements of faith that do not incorporate ALL the scriptures. Instead, recognize that we have been duped. This is why the apostles commanded us to remain steadfast in the apostle's doctrine -- as taught by those who walked with Jesus day in and day out. Those same apostles who ensured that every single person baptized in water (in the scriptures) were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Indeed, everything we do in word or deed, we are to do in the name of Jesus. (Colossians 3:17)

And Paul said unto the certain disciples, "Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?" And they said unto him, "We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost." And he said unto them, "Unto what then were ye baptized?" And they said, "Unto John’s baptism." Then said Paul, “John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people that they should believe on Him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus." When they heard [this], they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid [his] hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came upon them, and they spake with tongues and prophesied." (Acts 19:1-6)

Earlier in Acts, and specifically on the day of Pentecost, those who were pricked in their heart asked Peter standing with the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?" Then Peter said unto them, "Repent and be baptized every of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you and to your children, and to all that are afar off -- as many as the Lord our God shall call." (Acts 2:37-39)

If you seek Jesus, He will reveal the truth to you through His Word. He will lead you into all knowledge and truth.

Don't be one of those subscribing to "another" gospel -- those described as "they being ignorant of God's righteousness and going about to establish their own righteousness have NOT submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God -- FOR CHRIST IS THE END OF THE LAW FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS TO EVERY ONE THAT BELIEVETH." (Romans 10:3-4)

The righteousness of faith -- "that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)

Hide your life in Christ. And "take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfill it." (Colossians 4:17)

Jesus Said, "Nevertheless I Tell You the Truth" - Part 1051

All the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily in Jesus, for it pleased His Father that in Him should all His fullness dwell. He, Jesus being the brightness of God’s glory and the express image of God Himself as a Son. Without question, He is God manifested in the flesh as a Son. He is the unseen God now appearing as a Son. Within Jesus did all of God dwell. God in the beginning created man in His own image, complete with a perfect body equipped with God’s breath, and therefore becoming a living soul.

After the fall of man, this perfected man degenerated into a fallen body, like a dying or spiritually dead soul. Losing intimacy and fellowship with God, man would no longer enjoy those evening strolls with His creator. In other words, sin isolated man from God’s immediate plan. Adam was called a son of God by creation. Conversely, Jesus became a Son of God by the seeding of God’s own Spirit. That which is conceived in you Mary is of the Holy Ghost.

"For He [the Father] made Him who knew no sin [Jesus Christ] to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (II Corinthians 5:21) Note that He did not create -- but made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us -- that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

One Lord, one faith, one baptism. (Ephesians 4:5)

Indeed, here is only one God -- satan also believes that to be so and trembles. Jesus, as a man (who was similarly tempted to sin but never succumbing) spoke with God. Man never instructed God on humanity. Rather, God now revealed Himself as a human. After all, humanity is spiritual requiring only a body to have visual expression.  Sons or daughters manifesting outwardly our inward feelings.

Let's look at this from a perspective that is already familiar to us. As children, we converse in son or daughter voices. As adults, we may become a father or mother. Still, in these new roles, we remain in the same bodies as we did when we were formally recognized as son and daughters. The difference is that we now express ourselves in the language of a father or mother and equally, depending on the scenario, use language as son or daughter. In short, we can speak both as a son or daughter or as a father or mother, whilst all this time confined in the same body. Taking this example one step further, we converse with others in a language becoming of neither a son  or daughter. Instead, we speak as free individuals, debating, discussing and fellowshiping with our peers and colleagues. All of this performance then being manifested in a son or daughter's body.

So, ask yourself this question? Are you three persons? Of course, you are not !! You are one person. Further, had I known you as a son or daughter, and also in the role of a father or mother, and then again as a free individual, apart from these respective roles, then honestly I would be able to say yes, I truly do know this person well.

So, likewise God, in order to reveal Himself to us expressed Himself in demonstrative language that would not be foreign to us.That is, He Himself as a Son displayed to us of how we ought to walk. He Himself walked as Son. God as a Son permitted the vials of our sin to be poured upon Him. In His death, He fathered us. He took our place and we inherited His gift of salvation freely. Now He who indwelt Jesus now inhabits us who believe, conversing with us in Spirit in the same manner originally designed in the beginning.

Our Comforter. Jesus said, "Nevertheless, I tell you the truth. It is expedient for you that I go away, for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you, but if I depart, I will send Him unto you." (John 16:7)

It is within this relationship, God desires that we would grow in grace and knowledge and not stagnate or grow weary. Rather, we should at all times earnestly contend for this one faith which at the first was delivered to the early believers by none other than the Lord God Himself. The same God who willingly became our Saviour so that we might have life more abundantly.

Now receive your redemption as a gift from your Great High Priest - Jesus. One God, revealing Himself as a Father and then as a Son, and finally, as your friend in His holy Spirit. Peace in Jesus Name. Stand in the offering Plate.

O Sing Unto the Lord A New Song, All the Earth, Bless His Holy Name- Part 1050

"The mighty God [even] the Lord hath spoken and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty God hath shined ... and the heavens shall declare His righteousness." (Psalms 50:1-6)

"Blessed [be] the Lord, [who] daily loadeth us [with benefits, even] the God of our salvation. [He that is] our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord [belong] the issues from death." (Psalms 68:18-19)

"By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of [our] lips, giving thanks to His name." (Hebrews 13:15)

"Make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom [be] glory for ever and ever, Amen." (Hebrews 13:21)

Apostle Paul wrote: "Yea, doubtless, and I count all things [but] loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord; for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them [but] dung, that I may win Christ ... AND be found in him, not having mine own righteousness which is of the Law, but that which is through faith of Christ -- the righteousness which is of God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death ... I am apprehended of Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:8-12)

From the beginning of time and throughout the new testament, Jesus told us -- the book is "written of Me." In the old covenant, we read how God stirred the prophets to proclaim the message of the coming Messiah to the people, the prophesied Christ whose holy blood shed on the cross was destined to secure a new and lasting covenant with us.

"But what saith it? The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth and in thy heart; that is, the Word of faith, which we preach -- that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thous shalt be saved -- for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For the scripture saith, "Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed." For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:8-13)

Yes, the same Lord who created us in the beginning had devised a master plan of salvation so that we -- you and I -- could humbly come to Him knowing that it was He who knew no sin that "poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors." (Isaiah 53:12)

"But now hath He obtained a more excellent ministry by how much also He is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises ... for if that first [covenant] had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second." (Hebrews 8:6)

We have so much to be thankful for. "Surely, He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows, yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. But He [was] wounded for our transgressions, [He] was bruised for our iniquities' the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:4-5)

"For if the Word spoken by angels was steadfast and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; how shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord and was confirmed unto us by them that heard [Him]." (Hebrews 2:2-3)

Therefore, "by Him let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of [our] lips, giving thanks to His name." (Hebrews 13:15)

Let Him "make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom [be] glory for ever and ever, Amen." (Hebrews 13:21)
